"An imitation of the Spiritron Transfer magecraft?!"
Eiji's eyes widened in utter astonishnt.
Chaldea's Spiritron Transfer was a magecraft developed to repair the flawed points in human history. It could transform oneself into spiritrons—the fundantal particles of the magical world—and transmit them through special coffins to the past to fix history.
In other words, it was ti transfer!
Because it could only transfer to Singularities—unstable points in ti and space where problems occurred—it was essentially a degraded version of the Fifth Magic. While it couldn't match the true Fifth Magic that allowed free ti transfer, it was still an incredibly remarkable technology!
And Morgan actually managed to replicate such technology and even put it to practical use?
How absurd!
Are those with exceptional magical talent just allowed to do whatever they want?
Morgan: Sorry, but having powerful magic ans I can do whatever I want!
In that mont, Eiji felt an unfathomable, insurmountable chasm had erged between the people of Chaldea and Morgan!
Morgan's prowess far exceeded Eiji's expectations!
As Chaldea currently stood, there was absolutely no way they could win!
Eiji rubbed his temples.
Good thing they have !
"This magecraft is impressive—I understand that now. So your solution was to directly send Norwich's Great Calamity over two thousand years into the past."
The Fairy Calendar equated to BC. By sending it to the Fairy Calendar, no matter how powerful the Great Calamity was, it would be powerless to change anything.
Killing without leaving a trace—this was truly a terrifying thod.
"But earlier you said this would cause most of Norwich to disappear as a result?"
"Correct."
Morgan nodded indifferently.
"I don't have coffins like Chaldea's, so using this magecraft is sowhat crude. But as long as it solves the problem, that's enough."
"So the residents just died like that?"
"...Is that what concerns you?"
Morgan fell silent for a mont, then sighed for so reason.
"I thought you had already seen through the nature of fairies, yet you still hold expectations for them?"
Her tone carried so displeasure.
She seed disappointed that Eiji still wanted to save the fairies.
"No, I don't hold any expectations for creatures like fairies."
But Eiji shook his head, refuting Morgan's statent.
"However, collective issues shouldn't be imposed on individuals, and individual issues shouldn't be generalized to the collective. It's true that fairies purely enjoy their pleasures with almost no sense of morality, but precisely because they're so pure—just as so thoroughly enjoy evil—there must also be fairies who thoroughly enjoy goodness, right?"
Pure good and pure evil—fairies are like binary creatures.
Because they're like that, where pure evil exists, pure good must also exist.
To eliminate one calamity by erasing the good that exists within it—Eiji felt this approach could never be considered right.
"In your lifeti, has there never been even one fairy who genuinely loved, appreciated, and revered you from the bottom of their heart?"
"...What you say is correct."
The queen was taken aback, her tone wavering slightly.
She didn't completely dismiss the fairies' existence, instead offering Eiji's assessnt fair and proper judgnt.
"But this Fairy Kingdom doesn't need what's right!"
Yet imdiately after, just when Eiji thought she might reconsider, she suddenly declared with chilling finality.
"In this Fairy Kingdom, all lives are my personal property! How to deal with them is my privilege alone! Whether they're good fairies or evil fairies, if I say they're unnecessary, then they're unnecessary!"
What a stubborn woman!
Eiji gritted his teeth, clicking his tongue in displeasure.
"In that case, I'll handle the Great Calamity of Norwich myself!"
He turned and strode out of the council chamber.
No longer holding futile expectations for Morgan.
"My Water Mirror won't cease its operation."
Morgan's voice followed him from behind.
"Suit yourself!"
"The fairies won't thank you."
"Do you think I'm doing this for those fairies?"
Eiji turned back, glaring fiercely at Morgan.
Then he stepped across the threshold without looking back.
Morgan paused briefly.
Then she nodded slightly, as if having understood sothing.
"That does sound like sothing you'd say... Wait, there's one more thing I need to ask you."
"Sothing else?"
"Are you really involved with Baobhan Sith?"
"Pfft!"
Eiji stumbled, nearly choking on his own saliva!
"Baobhan Sith isn't my type!"
He looked at the queen with utter bewildernt, thinking her train of thought was truly bizarre.
How did they jump from such serious matters to such ridiculous ones?
"Good."
The queen nodded in satisfaction, her smooth chin tilting.
"Rember, you're my queen consort—aning you're also my property. You must mind your words and actions, never stepping out of—"
Before she could finish,
Eiji had already vanished from sight.
"...line."
The queen sat alone in the empty hall for a long ti.
"Never mind."
After what felt like ages, she finally sighed softly.
"You'll understand eventually—that I'm the one who's right."
Her sigh carried a loneliness known only to herself.
"Your Majesty!"
Before long, a Wind Clan ssenger hurried anxiously into the hall.
"Terrible news! The human ranch has been attacked!"
"When did this happen?"
"Just yesterday! According to the stationed knights, shortly after Sir Gawain departed, the Round Table Army led by Percival suddenly appeared and stord the human ranch! All the humans have been rescued!"
"..."
Upon hearing this, Morgan fell into silent contemplation.
"Your Majesty?"
"I already know what happened. It's of no consequence."
Morgan's expression remained unchanged, her voice perfectly calm.
"The ranch itself wasn't destroyed, I presu?"
"Ah, Your Majesty sees all! The Round Table Army indeed only rescued the humans. Damage to the ranch was kept to a minimum!"
"Then capture so lone wandering humans to replenish it. The Round Table Army is beneath my concern."
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
After the ssenger departed, Morgan's gaze turned toward a specific location in Calot.
"Sheffield, and now the human ranch... That makes twice. My patience has its limits."
....
After leaving the council chamber, Eiji quickly descended from the castle.
He could feel a gaze watching him from the castle's peak—devoid of joy or sorrow.
He pretended not to notice and followed the city guards out of the labyrinthine passage.
After leaving the royal castle, Eiji headed straight for the main gate.
He intended to reach Norwich as quickly as possible while reuniting with the Chaldea group. Morgan's tenacity proved more formidable than he had anticipated, and he needed to inform them of this developnt.
"Coo, coo~!"
Before long, Eiji arrived at the city gate.
A snow-white carrier pigeon descended from the sky, fluttering its wings before perching on his shoulder.
"Has Percival successfully liberated the humans from the livestock farms?"
Eiji breathed a sigh of relief.
