"ow, ow, ow!"

The front courtyard of the monastery.

Kanon had already left. As evening approached, she couldn't stay out for long.

In her place was a woman owing.

She was squatting on the ground, completely unconcerned about her pristine white dress getting stained with dust, happily petting a cat. Her delicate fingers scratched under the chin of a logical cat, making it purr with contentnt.

It was a rather heartwarming scene, one that made people reluctant to disturb.

But disturb her he must.

Because Eiji knew that woman.

In this Strike the Blood world, anyone with even a little status would know this woman.

She had a sowhat wild, charming face, as if her body contained both fiery passion and untad arrogance. Her erald-green hair sparkled like gemstones, and her jade-like eyes were as deep as lakes.

Even while happily petting the cat, the first impression she gave Eiji was that of a female leopard ready to strike!

"To think such an extraordinary guest has arrived."

Eiji beca extrely cautious.

"To what do we owe the honor of Your Highness the Princess's visit?"

"Just call Giada."

The woman stood up.

As she moved, her erald-green hair and snow-white dress complented each other. A casual smile spread across her face, and her lake-deep eyes shimred with curiosity.

"Why are you wearing those boring accessories?"

Her gaze fell on Eiji's face.

Her originally intrigued expression was blocked by the mask and sunglasses, causing a hint of displeasure to appear on her charming face.

"Just a habit."

Eiji touched the two items on his face.

"Your Highness still hasn't said why you're here?"

"Call Giada."

Her expression grew more dissatisfied, her eyes firmly locked on Eiji.

Though no ill intent could be seen in her eyes, Eiji's alarm bells were ringing loudly.

"Alright, Giada, what brings you specifically to find ?"

He took a step back, choosing to humor her.

Giada nodded in satisfaction.

"Boom!"

Imdiately after, she suddenly stepped forward.

The ground in the front courtyard instantly shattered, dirt flying out like broken stones.

The woman's figure moved like a cheetah, shattering the atmosphere with astonishing speed, arriving before Eiji in the blink of an eye.

Only then did the air currents wildly scatter, crushing the flowers in the front courtyard into disarray.

Wild erald-green eyes suddenly appeared right before him, filled with a provocative gleam.

Eiji instantly tensed all his muscles, instinctively wanting to fight back.

But he imdiately relaxed his entire body.

"Swish!"

Giada reached out like lightning.

But she neither went for Eiji's heart nor tried to scratch his throat with her nails.

Her delicate, crystalline hand aid directly at Eiji's face.

Effortlessly, she removed the accessories from his face.

Instantly, beauty enough to drive gods mad was imprinted in Giada's eyes. Features that seed ticulously designed by God himself, with no flaws to be found anywhere.

Giada stopped breathing.

That face invaded her mind with overwhelming force, shattering all logical thought.

She couldn't even think, only stare blankly at his face.

Even ti seed to have frozen in this mont.

Eiji simply watched her silently, doing nothing, his eyes completely calm.

"...I see. Truly worthy of Narcissus."

It took quite a while before Jada snapped out of her daze.

Only then did she realize that she had unknowingly reached out her hand, gently caressing his cheek, her fingers teasingly lifting his chin as she examined him carefully up and down.

"No, Narcissus isn't even worthy of shining your shoes!"

She had never seen Narcissus in person.

But she was certain that even if Narcissus were reborn, he wouldn't be more captivating than Eiji.

In fact, she could feel her heart pounding wildly—never in her thousands of years of life had she felt such satisfaction.

"You've looked your fill. Can you tell why you ca to see now?"

Eiji extended his hand, signaling for her to return the mask and sunglasses.

"Why so eager to cover up? What a waste! Why not let look a little longer?"

Jada showed no trace of a young girl's shyness, boldly running her hands over his face, her fingers even reaching toward his neck and collarbone.

Eiji frowned slightly.

It was just a small gesture, but it made Jada's heart ache.

A sudden, intense shock surged within her.

"Four years ago, the Japanese governnt suddenly invited to the main island for diplomatic talks."

Jada abruptly released Eiji, backing away as if avoiding a venomous snake.

Then she averted her gaze, deliberately changing the subject.

The mont she looked away, a powerful reluctance welled up in her heart, but she steeled herself, forcefully suppressing the feeling as a strong sense of vigilance erged.

"...I wasn't originally interested in diplomacy and planned to leave it to my subordinates, but the Japanese governnt said they had prepared a surprise for and wanted to give it to in person. That piqued my interest, so I made a special trip."

She didn't let her emotions seep into her words, her tone as if telling a story, gentle and persuasive.

Or perhaps she was using the story to distract herself.

Eiji narrowed his eyes.

He knew about this incident.

It was the beginning of all the conflicts.

"But when I arrived in Japan, the politicians not only failed to produce the so-called surprise but also tried every ans to delay . I lost my temper and quickly left Japan. But afterward, I found it very strange, so I secretly sent people to investigate..."

Jada instinctively turned her head but caught herself, forcefully stopping the motion and choosing instead to look up at the distant sunset.

"The investigation revealed that at the sa ti I arrived in Japan, the 'Narcissus Incident' occurred on the main island."

"Now that I've seen you, I finally understand the Japanese governnt's intentions."

Jada's tone gradually turned cold.

The lingering magic power rippling in the air caused the atmospheric temperature to plumt.

It wasn't intentional on Jada's part but a natural reaction caused by her fluctuating emotions affecting her magic power.

"How daring, the Japanese governnt!"

Jada curled her lips into a smile.

Pure white fangs grew from her mouth, making her grin appear utterly ferocious.

Her erald eyes turned completely crimson, and the magic power around her swirled like a storm.

"Don't cause a scene in my monastery!"

Eiji suddenly snapped coldly.

She completely disregarded her status as a True Ancestor.

"...My apologies, I was rude."

Jada's figure stiffened slightly.

How dare soone who wasn't a True Ancestor raise their voice at her?

She should have delivered punishnt on the spot, but the mont this thought surfaced in her mind, she hesitated, utterly unable to make up her mind.

"My doubts have been resolved. Thank you for your assistance. I won't disturb you again in the future."
