"I did fall for it."
Edelweiss admitted frankly.
She had indeed been deceived by Abraham's feigned deanor. The mont she saw his unusual eyes, she fell under hypnosis.
"But I imdiately sensed sothing was wrong and woke up from the hypnosis."
"Once under my hypnosis, unless severely injured externally, one shouldn't be able to break free so easily..."
Abraham's expression turned extrely grim, even carrying a trace of fear.
"Don't tell —?"
"Correct, I killed myself."
Edelweiss stated with a calm expression.
After being hypnotized, everything proceeded far too smoothly.
It was precisely because it was too smooth that she detected the abnormality, realizing she might have fallen victim to a ntal attack and was trapped in an illusion. Thus, she imdiately killed herself, instantly breaking free.
"What kind of fool are you? Even if ordinary people suspect they might be hypnotized, they shouldn't so decisively commit suicide, right?"
Abraham cursed roughly.
His eyes revealed deep apprehension.
This was his first ti facing Edelweiss in combat.
Influenced by wishful thinking, even if ordinary people realize they're hypnotized, they would hesitate for a long ti, searching for other thods to escape. Otherwise, if they weren't actually hypnotized, wouldn't suicide make them seem incredibly foolish?
But Edelweiss woke up so quickly—she must have chosen to kill herself imdiately to avoid delaying the battle.
That decisiveness to directly end her own life truly shocked him.
"Now it's your turn."
Before the words fully faded, a silver sword light erupted brilliantly.
Edelweiss swung her silver broadsword, the blade churning the atmosphere, causing sword energy to surge out like a tide, rushing violently toward Abraham!
"Shit!"
Abraham spat a curse and imdiately teleported to evade.
He didn't dare confront the world's strongest swordswoman head-on. Their offensive power was unimaginably fierce. In his foresight, if he chose to clash directly with that blade, he would be instantly turned into minceat by the ensuing sword lights!
"What?!"
But the mont he finished teleporting, he was abruptly startled.
A flash of light roared toward him from another direction, fast as a flickering cot.
"Uwah!"
Relying on his pre-cognized future, he leaned backward drastically.
Even so, the airflow stirred by the sword edge still tore through his chest, leaving a gash over a foot long and deep enough to reveal bone!
"Why?"
Clutching his chest with his remaining left hand, Abraham stared at the youth before him with shock and confusion.
"Find it strange?"
Eiji flicked his blade. In truth, with his blade speed, not a drop of blood would remain.
"Your teleportation can't be used consecutively. Between two movents, there must inevitably be a montary pause. That's probably the halt you need to take to grasp the surrounding space, right?"
You could call it coordinates or distance.
If he teleported continuously without comprehending the surrounding space, he might end up inside a wall.
To prevent mishaps during movent, he needed to pause briefly, assess the surroundings, and then proceed with the next teleportation.
"You foresaw Twin-Wings' sword strike earlier, yet didn't imdiately use teleportation to evade it—that's the proof."
Eiji chuckled lightly.
Otherwise, he should have teleported away the mont he foresaw Edelweiss' attack, rather than attempting to dodge and defend with lightning.
And Eiji possessed intuition.
He instantly deduced the landing point after being forced to teleport by Edelweiss, thus charging over in advance and swinging his blade precisely during that montary stagnation.
If not for the ability to foresee the future, Abraham would already be dead.
"The world's strongest... is nothing more than this."
Edelweiss walked over.
She stood side by side with Eiji.
Both wore identical expressions of effortless composure.
They had thought a superhuman would be formidable, but he rely relied on multiple abilities for flexible combat—his actual strength was quite ordinary, with no outstanding traits. Only his combination of future sight and teleportation made his escape skills slightly superior.
"Mother Fucker!"
Fear gripped Abraham.
These two were monsters!
He had never encountered a Blazer who could see through and shatter his multiple supernatural abilities in such a short ti!
"In that case!"
A thick, sadistic gleam surfaced in his eyes.
He leaped lightly, his body shooting into the sky like an arrow released from its bow.
"Psychokinetic flight?"
"Trying to escape?"
Eiji and Edelweiss grew alert simultaneously.
In the night sky.
"Psychokinetic Electrogenesis!"
A brilliant azure thunderbolt suddenly erupted, capturing countless gazes.
"Psychokinetic Pyrogenesis!"
Flas whirled into a tornado, engulfing the lightning.
"Psychokinesis!"
Finally, Abraham infused it with psychokinesis.
"BOOOOM—!!"
A colossal inferno of thunder and lightning hung suspended mid-air, rotating violently like a tornado.
Astounding psychokinetic force enveloped the periphery, unleashing invisible shockwaves in all directions.
"If you're so capable, then try blocking this strike!"
A maniacal laugh echoed from above.
Abraham was drenched in blood, the escaping liquid instantly vaporized by the intense heat, as a ferocious, savage grin spread across his face.
"What can a move like that accomplish?"
Edelweiss remained unmoved.
Such an obvious attack would be simple to evade—they weren't fools to confront it head-on.
After all, she lacked large-scale offensive techniques herself.
"No, his goal is—!"
Eiji's expression tightened slightly.
His gaze swept their surroundings.
"Right, this is a bustling district!"
Edelweiss' face shifted.
Abraham had deliberately intercepted them in a crowded area!
Was this his objective?
Judging by the accumulated power, neither doubted that the attack possessed enough force to instantly dismantle skyscrapers!
Although bystanders had initially retreated to a distance when the fight began, bold onlookers still remained.
Moreover, guests in nearby hotels and restaurants had no ti to evacuate!
He was forcing them to confront the strike directly!
"To drag innocent people into this!"
Edelweiss' eyes narrowed slightly.
It was the first ti she had shown anger.
"Since you're seeking death, I'll grant your wish!"
Eiji sneered coldly.
He released one of his swords, raising the blade in his right hand high as he drew his legs back like drawn bowstrings.
Edelweiss arched an elegant eyebrow.
Her eyes widened in astonishnt as she stared at Eiji, a deep shock swirling within them.
"This is..."
She could sense it.
In this move, Eiji had invoked so kind of causality.
It was a technique strikingly similar to the "Shadow Chase" of the Black Iron Society!
And that causality was—
"Raging Whirlwind!!"
"Don't you dare rage—!!!"
Abraham, having completed his preparations in the sky, launched his attack first.
