Eiji was being very cautious.
Mrs. Pendragon hadn't experienced much romance before - her heart was as pure as a blank sheet of paper. Even though she was already sowhat interested in him, if he continued down this path he might succeed in the mont, but would definitely be kicked out afterward and never allowed to enter her ho again.
If he was going to do this, he had to do it perfectly, making Mrs. Pendragon truly fall for him. Only then could he secure her without any risks.
What he sought wasn't montary pleasure, but lifelong happiness.

Then, using Mrs. Pendragon as a stepping stone, he would pursue Black Saber!
For the rest of the day, Eiji didn't continue flirting with Mrs. Pendragon. He rested for a while in the afternoon, then returned to the kendo dojo to continue teaching until evening, when the day's lessons finally ended.
As the sun set in the west, Eiji walked out of the building.
He carried a bag of fresh pastries in his hand - a return gift from Mrs. Pendragon.
Putting on his face mask and hood to conceal his traffic-stopping handso face, Eiji began his journey ho.
In the sky, gray starlings flapped their wings, as if recording everything that had happened.
"Alright, I didn't go ho yesterday, so I'll sleep at ho tonight."
Eiji stretched lazily.
On nights when he had patrol duty, he usually stayed at Kuonji Manor, only returning to his own ho when he had nothing scheduled.
On weekends, he would co to Mrs. Pendragon's house for teaching. Though it was nominally teaching, for him it was precious relaxation ti. His spirits were fully recharged, completely ready to face tomorrow's challenges.
After crossing the traffic light, passing through the shopping district, and entering the western part of the city, the number of pedestrians around him suddenly decreased significantly.
While passing through the shopping district, Eiji stopped by Mrs. Boudica's dessert shop, but Minamoto no Raikou had already clocked out earlier.
When he left, Mrs. Boudica gave him another box of desserts.
By the ti the sky had darkened considerably, Eiji had returned to the vicinity of his residential area.
"Vroom vroom—!"
The sound of engine roaring ca from nearby, soone recklessly revving their engine to the maximum. Thanks to this, the engine noise was quite disruptive to the neighborhood.
"Bōsōzoku? When the ghost fire sounds, parents' efforts are wasted!"
Eiji didn't pay it much mind, just sighed briefly before continuing toward ho.
"Vroooom!"
But then the engine sound grew closer and closer, soon arriving behind him.
Then it quickly sped past him.
In that instant, Eiji made eye contact with her.
She was riding an all-black, extrely cool-looking motorcycle, pulling the throttle to its maximum, with continuous popping sounds coming from the exhaust.
Despite this death-defying speed, there was another person on the back seat desperately clinging to her waist, emitting ear-piercing screams.
"Stop!"
Eiji suddenly shouted loudly.
The motorcycle ahead continued for a short distance before reluctantly slowing down, finally stopping a few hundred ters away.
"What? Why did you suddenly stop?"
A very dissatisfied complaint ca from the back seat.
But she, whose mood had beco extrely heavy, had no ti to deal with the complaint, her face looking terribly unpleasant.
"Oh, quite bold, aren't you? Not going ho at night, just playing with motorcycles outside?"
Eiji stepped forward, grinning smugly.
"None of your business!"
The girl snorted coldly with clear displeasure.
"I'm still your family tutor! Even if I haven't taught you personally, it's my responsibility to guide you onto the right path!"
Eiji declared with righteous conviction.
The girl on the motorcycle had tied her dark golden hair into a low ponytail, wearing a delinquent-style riding suit.
It was none other than Mysterious Heroine X, who hadn't returned ho last night!
"Tch, now you pull the teacher card. Which of your usual actions even remotely resembles what a teacher should do?"
Mysterious Heroine X expressed her disdain openly.
Corrupting her subordinates, threatening her to do howork, prying for family information... each offense was too nurous to ntion, making her wish she could kill him three thousand tis over!
"Are you looking to die?"
The person on the back seat couldn't hold back anymore, shouting angrily at Eiji.
"What we do is our freedom, what's it to you! So what if you're a teacher? If you piss off, I won't go easy on you!"
Shoulder-length dark golden hair, facial features quite similar to Mysterious Heroine X, Souji, and Nero, appearing no older than seventeen or eighteen, but with a much more ample bust than Mysterious Heroine X.
Plus, she had that classic French disdain expression and this rciless way of speaking.

"Hmm... You're Jeanne d'Arc Alter, right?"
Eiji rubbed his chin.
"How do you know my na?"
Jeanne d'Arc Alter was startled.
"Because this guy's a pervert!"
Mysterious Heroine X spat out quietly.
Jeanne d'Arc Alter imdiately covered her chest, glaring at him as if he were an enemy.
"What's your relationship with Jeanne?"
Eiji asked again.
"You actually know that woman!"
Jeanne d'Arc Alter's expression changed.
Her previously arrogant deanor visibly deflated, quickly replaced by a wary look.
"We're classmates. Should I tell her about your situation tomorrow?"
Eiji narrowed his eyes, feeling like he'd discovered a weak point.
"You...!"
Jeanne d'Arc Alter made an expression like she'd eaten sothing disgusting, her face changing colors several tis, unable to get a word out.
Eiji felt a small thrill.
Another leverage point captured, excellent!
"I visited your ho today."
Eiji ignored the silenced Jeanne d'Arc Alter and turned back to Mysterious Heroine X.
"Hah."
Mysterious Heroine X sneered.
I know.
Why do you think I didn't go ho last night?
Because there's a dog in the house!
"Your sisters think you have a man outside!"
"What?!"
Mysterious Heroine X was shocked into breaking character.
"They think since you didn't co ho last night, you must have stayed at a man's place!"
Eiji said with a sigh.
"Bullshit!"
Mysterious Heroine X shouted angrily, pointing at Jeanne d'Arc Alter on the back seat.
"I stayed at her place last night!"
"What good does telling do? Go explain that to your family!"
Eiji spread his hands, sighing deeply.
"Mrs. Pendragon is really upset right now!"
"Dammit!"
Mysterious Heroine X cursed, imdiately turning the motorcycle around.
Jeanne d'Arc Alter didn't say a word, silently averting her gaze, refusing to make eye contact with Eiji.
Clearly playing ostrich.
"Wait!"
Eiji suddenly called out to stop her.
"What now?"
Mysterious Heroine X turned her head to glare at him.
She strongly suspected this guy was the one spreading rumors. Her family thinking she stayed at a man's place was definitely his fault!
Eiji raised both hands in a gesture of innocence—this was all thought up by his not-so-bright second sister.
"Do my howork for ! I'll collect it tomorrow morning!"
Eiji pulled the howork notebook from his bag and flung it right at her face.
Crunch, crunch!
The sound of teeth grinding suddenly rang out.
Mysterious Heroine X glared fiercely at Eiji, veins bulging on her forehead, looking as if she couldn't hold back from starting a fight.
But rembering the outco of their previous brawl, she abruptly extinguished the urge to throw hands.
"Sigh."
She let out a dejected sigh, picked up the howork, and rode off into the distance with Jeanne d'Arc Alter.
