That evening, Touka gained a profound understanding of just how astonishing her junior's physical stamina had beco.

Back when they used to sing, her junior would start slacking off after just a few songs, while she remained perfectly composed, treating it as no challenge at all.

Now, the tables had completely turned. As Touka gradually grew exhausted and wanted to call it a night, her junior declared it was nothing at all.

"Senior sister, how's the school selection tournant going?" Eiji asked during a break between songs.

"It's on track, I'd say. No unexpected situations have co up," replied Touka, resting in her junior's arms as she pondered.

Not only Eiji, but others like Ikki Kurogane, Stella Vermillion, Shizuku Kurogane, and Nagi Arisuin remained undefeated, making them the top contenders for the tournant's championship.

Among the student council mbers, only Kanata had suffered a single loss to Eiji. The others also maintained their unstoppable montum.

However, as ti went on, these undefeated participants would inevitably face each other, and so would have to bow out.

The Hagun Academy selection tournant had sparked considerable outside discussion, attracting many TV stations to purchase broadcasting rights. Public opinion on it was mixed.

Moreover, as the tournant entered its later stages, spies from other academies frequently appeared on campus to gather intelligence on the participants.

Barring any surprises, the abilities of the top contenders were likely already known to outsiders, aning targeted strategies would likely erge during the Seven Stars Sword Art Festival.

"Your stamina must be at least rank A now, junior. That'll definitely catch the outside world off guard," Touka analyzed for Eiji.

At this point, it was almost certain that Eiji would be one of the six representatives. Unless he faced soone like her or Stella, defeat seed unlikely.

Even if he did face such opponents, the outco would be hard to predict. With his greatly enhanced stamina, Eiji could use his abilities more freely. Even Touka couldn't confidently claim she could withstand his full-power "Lightning Flash" strike.

Currently, Eiji's luck in the draw seed decent, so a sibling showdown appeared unlikely.

Eiji wasn't worried about himself.

His current strength was incomparable to before.

His concern was for his senior sister.

Although he'd forgotten most of the Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry plot, he still vaguely rembered the super intense ending of the first ani season.

His senior sister might get eliminated.

This thought troubled Eiji.

"Senior sister, let's go another round!"

"Eh? Again?"

Thanks to Freya's training, Eiji had gained imnse confidence in his pleasing ability.

From today onward, no one could call him "fast" anymore!

The next morning.

"Here."

In a dense forest on campus, Kanata handed a sealed paper bag to a doll-faced girl.

"No need, no need! I did this entirely voluntarily!" Hagure Botan waved her hands, insisting she couldn't accept it.

"Wasn't this our agreent?" The wealthy Kanata firmly pushed the bag toward her.

"You're a third-year now. Giving up this tournant ans you can't participate in the next Seven Stars Sword Art Festival. This is compensation."

The Seven Stars Sword Art Festival was held annually in early August, after sumr vacation began. Thus, each student could participate at most three tis.

"Really, it's unnecessary!" Hagure Botan's expression was resolute.

"As an executive of the Fallen Angel Fan Club, helping the Angel-sama is an honor in itself! Taking money would make feel guilty!"

"Besides, with my abilities, it would've been hard to beco one of the six representatives anyway. If we'd fought yesterday, I probably would've lost to Angel-sama."

Hagure Botan's skills were quite solid. As a C-rank knight, she ranked within the academy's top ten. With so luck, she might have qualified.

But against Eiji—who'd even defeated Kanata, the academy's second-strongest—she knew she stood no chance.

She took it in stride, understanding when to let go rather than obsess over the spot.

Accepting money under these circumstances would not only tarnish her sincere intentions but also be shaless.

Moreover, she'd already received sothing far more valuable than a million yen.

Naly, that terribly written autograph.

"Very well, if you insist." Seeing her determination, Kanata stopped pressing.

Hagure Botan left the forest in high spirits.

"Sigh!"

Kanata watched the doll-faced girl depart, releasing a faint sigh.

Over the past month, she'd done this over a dozen tis.

Her sigh wasn't about the money—a few million yen ant little to her—but because whenever she tried to pay afterwards, the opponents always refused for various reasons.

Out of twelve attempts, only three had accepted paynt. The other nine had all declined.

All nine who refused were girls.

Their reasons mostly boiled down to "it would tarnish our devotion to Angel-sama," and they staunchly declined. Of course, Kanata hadn't offered excessively high amounts either.

Hagure Botan, being top-ten in the academy, was worth a million yen, while ordinary students typically received around a hundred thousand.

Rustle!

Suddenly, footsteps crunched through the grass behind her.

Then, a pair of arms encircled her waist from behind, startling her. She instinctively tried to push them away, but relaxed upon recognizing the familiar scent of sandalwood.

"You scared to death."

"Sorry, sorry. I wanted to surprise you."

Eiji embraced Kanata from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Kanata's tall, elegant figure made their embrace look perfectly natural. Combined with her noble grace, they appeared even more compatible than Eiji and Touka.

"Thank you for helping so much."

Eiji turned Kanata around and ducked under her parasol and sealed her lips with his.

"I broke my principles several tis to help you. Do you think a single kiss is enough to settle this?"

A while later, Kanata's face was slightly flushed.

She let go of her parasol, allowing it to fall to the ground, then leaned against his chest. One hand covered her lips while the other tapped his chest as she said coyly.

Eiji tensed.

But inwardly, he groaned.

His senior sister had been extrely intense last night, leaving him utterly drained.

Coupled with having "submitted his assignnt" to Freya before returning, he dared not cross the line with Kanata now—his body would collapse.

"Let's go on a date!"

"Today? What about Touka?"

"She's busy with student council work!"

"We have classes too!"

"Skip them!"

"You... really..."
