Kojou Akatsuki, who had been in free fall, suddenly seed to defy gravity, floating mid-air.

The startled Kojou felt his heart pounding wildly.
"Stay here and don't move!"
Eiji landed beside him, quickly setting up several gemstone shields around him.
Then he swept past Kojou, plunging toward the ground below!
"It's not like I can move even if I wanted to!"
Kojou howled in protest.
He remained floating in mid-air, feeling relatively secure with the gemstone shields protecting him.
He had a vague impression that these things were quite powerful.
"BOOM!"
A thunderous impact sounded as dust clouds erupted from the ground.
"That guy... he's not planning to confront the Self-Defense Forces head-on, is he?"
Kojou gasped in shock.
The crazy bastard had landed right in the center of the Self-Defense Forces formation!

"Identify yourself! State your purpose, or I'll treat you as a terrorist!"
The fully ard squad leader nervously aid his rifle, shouting at Eiji who erged from the dust clouds.
"Get lost! You're not qualified to speak with !"
In the blink of an eye, imnse sword energy surged toward the heavens!
Eiji unleashed his full aura, infinite pressure radiating in all directions. The violent energy waves sent surrounding soldiers flying like shockwaves!
"Bring your commander to !"
Eiji delivered a kick.
A several-ton tank went spinning away as if on ice, leaving black skid marks on the ground before crashing deep into the forest and smashing through dozens of towering trees.
"Open fire! Open fire!"
The squad leader nearly had a heart attack from the sight, screaming furiously.
"Rat-tat-tat-tat—!"
The soldiers reacted instantly, gunfire erupting like continuous rainfall.
"Hmph."
Eiji couldn't even be bothered to dodge.
In re monts, he perfectly deflected every bullet that struck him, sending them all ricocheting back.
Firearms were instantly shredded by the rebounding bullets. Soldiers collapsed clutching their arms and chests, screams rising everywhere.
Eiji casually backhanded the squad leader, sending him flying.
Moving as if through a realm of no one, he charged rapidly deep into the forest!
He was quickly intercepted by the second and third squads.
Eiji decisively seized the tank and swung it like a wind-fire wheel in his hands, smashing it down like a heavy hamr—each strike creating a massive crater!
All onlookers were horrified, not daring to approach him even a step.
"There's no need to go that far!"
Kojou Akatsuki shouted with a soft heart from the sky.
"Clang!"
An artillery shell blasted toward him, but it was deflected by the gem shield, blowing the soldier carrying the RPG to pieces.
Kojou Akatsuki froze.
Without even thinking, it was clear that the soldier, realizing he couldn't defeat Eiji, had decided to target him as the easier prey, only to end up utterly destroyed.

"If you step onto the battlefield, you must be prepared to die!"
Eiji hoisted the tank's tread over his shoulder, a wild smile spreading across his face.
