"We're back!"
On the Storm Border, Gudako, Mash, and Tristan stepped side by side onto the deck of the aerial vessel.
"Welco back, you've worked hard!"
Da Vinci-chan quickly ushered them into the command room.
The events in Manchester had already been reported during their journey.
"You've returned just in ti—we're about to reach the Great Pit!"
Hols stood before the control panel and displayed the map.
The massive cavern slowly ca into view before everyone's eyes.
At this mont, all combat forces aboard the ship, along with every ally that could be found in the Fairy Kingdom, had gathered together in this hall.
Yet, upon witnessing the Great Pit, everyone couldn't help but be stunned.
They had seen the Great Pit before—though terrifyingly vast, it shouldn't have shaken them so deeply now.
However.
The current Great Pit was completely different from before!
The sky was covered by endless black mist, identical to the dark smoke that had enveloped Norwich. The soot fell continuously like snowflakes, with lightning flickering faintly within the black clouds.
It was a scene straight out of the apocalypse!
But what made everyone's hearts tremble even more was the figure crawling out from the Great Pit.
Its fluffy white body and curved gray antlers gave it a sowhat adorable appearance.
However, if its height nearly rivaled the Great Pit itself, and its body occupied almost half of the cavern, the impression it gave was no longer cuteness but unprecedented shock and terror!
"...Ms. Da Vinci, can you calculate the scale of that creature?"
A dark cloud settled over Hols's face as he asked Da Vinci-chan in a grave tone.
"No, it's completely impossible!"
Da Vinci-chan's expression gradually turned extrely grim.
"Whether it's the scale of its Spirit Origin, magical energy, height, or weight—none of it can be asured! Just the portion visible above the Great Pit is estimated to be over two thousand ters tall!"
"Incredible, it's even taller than the Fire Giant Surtr! Such a massive creature shouldn't exist on Earth!"
Everyone's expressions changed.
Even Eiji was no exception.
Just the part visible above the surface was already over two thousand ters tall!
No matter what kind of monster it was, compared to that antlered god, they were all as insignificant as ants!
"There's no mistake—that is Cernunnos!"
Grimm's usual carefree deanor vanished completely, replaced by an unprecedented seriousness as he stared at the giant antlered shadow.
"The Celtic god who knows the underworld, the King of Beasts! I was sent here by the God of Wisdom precisely to deal with this!"
Celtic and Norse mythology are close neighbors, often overlapping with each other. A well-known example is Scáthach and Skadi.
Once Odin learned of the issue with the antlered god, he naturally couldn't sit idly by.
"Ugh..."
"Argh!"
At that mont, several technicians seated at the control consoles suddenly clutched their heads in pain, faint traces of black magical energy seeping from their bodies.
"Do not look directly at that cursed god!"
Grimm imdiately shouted sternly.
"The curse it carries is incredibly potent—rely gazing at it can cloud one's mind and even risk decay!"
He decisively swung his staff.
A refreshing surge of magical energy flowed out, swiftly cleansing the curses from the bodies of several technicians.
Learning from their previous experience, the technicians imdiately hunched their shoulders, not daring to glance at the Cursed God again.
"There's no curse stronger than this on Earth!"
Eiji's expression was extrely grave.
Since arriving in the Fairy Kingdom, this was the first ti he had felt such imnse pressure.
Even when he first ca to Calot and faced the Queen, he had never felt this suffocating!
"Was it to deal with that, Miss Caster, that you set up the twelve Holy Lances?"
Mash also felt the shield in her hand grow significantly heavier.
An overwhelming pressure weighed on everyone present.
"Speaking of the Holy Lances, is there a way to extract one?"
Da Vinci chid in, recalling their original objective.
They had co to negotiate with the Queen for a Holy Lance to combat the Alien God!
Now that the Queen wasn't here, wouldn't it be fine if they quietly took one?
It was for the sake of the world, after all!
"We'd have to land on the ground for that, but the current situation likely doesn't permit it."
Hols looked troubled, even the pipe in his hand seed to have lost its appeal.
"Moreover, this Cursed God is the very essence of the collapse. If we don't deal with it, Earth might be dood even without the Alien God's intervention!"
The implication was clear: there was no ti to worry about the Holy Lances now!
Thanks to Morgan turning this Lostbelt into a Singularity, the Cursed God, which should have only plagued its own Lostbelt world, had now beco a major threat to Pan-Human History!
If they didn't resolve this Cursed God, they wouldn't even have a future!
But the question remained.
How could they possibly deal with that thing?
"Hey!"
Suddenly, Habenyan shouted.
"This is no ti for idle chatter!"
"The Cursed God is moving!"
Pepe's expression turned terrifyingly grim.
At that mont.
A massive tremor abruptly struck!
The Storm Border shook violently as if caught in an earthquake, throwing everyone off balance.
"We're in the sky! Why is there shaking?"
"It's the Cursed God's movent!"
"Are you saying its actions are shaking the atmosphere, causing this tremor?"
Before Da Vinci could respond to Hols's incredulous remark—
"Disaster! The Cursed God is reaching out!"
A panicked scream erupted.
Eiji hurriedly looked out the window.
The Cursed God, having erged above ground, now towered over the royal palace. The massive palace seed like a toy block before it, easily crushable.
As if noticing the airship roaring overhead, the Cursed God extended its hand.
It was a pitch-black arm, resembling a withered tree trunk.
Countless branch-like hands sprouted from it.
The sight was all too familiar!
"The Great Calamity of Norwich was just one of its hands?!"
Eiji's heart tightened abruptly.
Because the next mont.
The Cursed God had extended a hundred, a thousand such hands, weaving a dense, spiderweb-like net to ensnare the Storm Border!
Even Eiji felt his heart stop in that instant!
Hundreds upon thousands of cursed hands!
Each one stretched thousands of ters long!
Each one possessed the intensity of a Great Calamity!
"Full speed ahead! Escape the Cursed God's domain!"
Captain Nemo roared with urgency.
At this mont, everyone sensed an intense crisis of death approaching!
The storm submarine instantly activated, all engines firing simultaneously, fleeing at full speed back the way they ca!
"It's too late!"
Despair tinged Nemo's face.
There were far too many cursed hands!
And their strength was imnse—just one strike was enough to breach the submarine's defenses. Once caught, the entire vessel would be torn apart in an instant!
