"They should understand this too."

Oberon stepped leisurely onto the top of the city walls, explaining in place of Habenyan.

"The walls of Londinium are made from the bark of the World Tree. Normally, they're completely impenetrable. Yet they still chose to set up camp here, which ans they probably have so plan in mind!"

The walls of Londinium were created 2,400 years ago by the Round Table Army with the help of Cernunnos, using the then-unwithered Fantasy Tree as material.

Although the city was almost completely destroyed during that civil war, the walls remained largely unscathed, showing no signs of decay even after such a long ti.

Their toughness is so remarkable that they can even withstand a Servant's Noble Phantasm!

With their determination to only defend and not attack, even the soldiers of the Fang Clan couldn't breach Londinium.

Habenyan and the others intended to rely on these impregnable walls to withstand the Fang Clan's fierce assault, waiting for Gudao and the others to return so they could repel them in one go.

But it seed the Fang Clan had their own plans?

"They couldn't possibly be waiting like a cat at a mouse hole, hoping to catch our master and the others when they return from outside to wipe them all out at once, could they?"

Gareth scratched his not-so-bright head.

"That possibility can't be ruled out."

Habenyan said thoughtfully.

"That Renecke guy, though crude in personality, holds himself in high regard. He usually lets his subordinates take the front lines, avoiding action himself unless absolutely necessary. And when he must act, he prefers to settle everything in one decisive move!"

"Woodwose is indeed a terrifying opponent. Even the King of Mors has been defeated by him!"

Oberon remarked with deep emotion, though his expression remained equally serious.

"Of course, there's also the possibility they're waiting for reinforcents!"

"Reinforcents?"

"Exactly. My Branca spotted reinforcents sent by the Queen over in Calot."

"Isn't that super bad!"

Gareth exclaid in shock.

"If they combine their forces, wouldn't that be absolutely terrible?"

"Don't worry, I've already made preparations over there!"

But Oberon appeared completely confident.

"Those reinforcents are guaranteed to co without returning!"

That's good.

Gareth imdiately breathed a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, his expression shifted, and a clear look of joy appeared on his face.

"Master and the others are back!"

"Where?"

Habenyan and Oberon both looked outside the city walls.

Soon, so commotion arose from the northern gate.

The group hurried down from the walls and rushed toward the northern gate.

Sure enough, they saw Gudao and the others returning from Norwich, having broken through a gap among the Fang soldiers at the northern city entrance.

"We're still a step too late!"

Percival led the visibly exhausted Round Table Army back into Londinium's city alongside Gudao and the others, his expression heavy with unspoken gravity.

They had rushed back at their fastest pace, but the Round Table Army included many humans who couldn't match the speed of the entirely robust Fang Clan soldiers.

Especially since the distance between Oxford and Londinium was almost the sa as that between Norwich and Londinium.

Finally having returned at this mont, they found that both the northern and southern city gates had already been occupied by Fang Clan soldiers.

"Fortunately, the Fang Clan doesn't have enough soldiers to surround the entire Londinium, which allowed us to reunite with everyone by chance."

Percival broke out in a cold sweat.

Very few Round Table Army mbers remained in the city - over eighty percent were elderly, won, and children who had almost no combat capability!

If their absence had caused Londinium to fall and the residents to be slaughtered, it would have been his sin.

"Now is not the ti to relax!"

Having stayed up all night and traveled long distances continuously, even Da Vinci-chan couldn't hide the exhaustion on her face.

"The news of us breaking into the city must have spread already. There will definitely be a large-scale attack soon!"

anwhile.

At the Fang Clan military camp.

The most impressive tent at the center of the camp belonged to Woodwose.

However, Woodwose's expression was terrifyingly dark at this mont.

The intense pressure radiating from him made the attending Fang Clan soldiers tremble with fear.

"To actually order to stay put and wait for reinforcents to arrive..."

Woodwose trembled with rage, his eyes bloodshot.

"Does the Queen not trust ? Not trust her most loyal Fang Clan soldiers?"

He was confident.

With the Fang Clan's power, with his own strength, they could definitely capture Londinium, tear the rebels' heads from their necks, and present them to the Queen!

But a wind ssage had arrived from Calot.

It said "The Queen will dispatch reinforcents. The Fang Clan should remain stationary for now. After joining forces, all Queen's forces including the Fang Clan must follow the command of the reinforcent general"!

This was simply grinding his pride into the dust!

As the Queen's most steadfast supporter in the Fairy Kingdom, not being trusted by the Queen was bad enough, but now he even had to hand over command to soone else!

In this Fairy Kingdom, who could be more loyal than him?

Other than the Queen herself, who could be stronger than him?

The reinforcent general was probably either Fairy Gawain or Fairy Lancelot - there were no other possibilities!

Could those two Fairy Knights possibly be stronger than him?

What did this an?

Had the Queen finally stopped trusting the Fang Clan and now trusted the Fairy Knights she had appointed more, gradually taking the Fang Clan's military authority from him to give to the Fairy Knights?

"Report! Soldiers at the north gate have sent word that they witnessed the Child of Prophecy's group breaking into the city!"

"Then tear them to pieces!"

Woodwose's roar echoed throughout the camp.

"The Fang Clan's pride cannot be questioned! My loyalty cannot be trampled upon! I will prove that the Fang Clan is the sharpest sword in the Queen's hand!"

"I will personally lead the charge to destroy Londinium!"

"Kill!"

The southern camp mobilized in the blink of an eye.

With terrifying efficiency, the Fang Clan soldiers completed battle preparations in just a few minutes.

Led personally by Woodwose, over a thousand soldiers brandished their claws, bared their fangs, and sward toward the city gates!

"They're coming!"

At the southern city gate.

Everyone steeled themselves and prepared to face the fully mobilized Fang Clan soldiers.

"Hold the gates! We can't let them be destroyed!"

Percival led the fairy soldiers in the city to guard the gates, attempting to work together to keep all the Fang Clan soldiers outside the walls.

Continuous fighting would put them at too great a disadvantage - they needed to buy at least so ti for everyone to rest!

"Wait, you can't do that!"

Standing atop the city walls, Grim suddenly noticed the charging Fang Clan soldiers, with a werewolf fairy in a purple suit leading the charge.

His expression instantly changed drastically as he roared at Percival.

"Fall back from the city gate imdiately!"

Percival froze for a mont.

At this point, retreating would be completely impossible.

"Hiss——!"

At the city gate.

Woodwose took a deep breath, his astonishing lung capacity causing his muscles to swell dramatically, instantly tearing his purple suit to shreds.

"ROAR——!!"

Imdiately after, a torrent of magical energy resembling a star's breath erupted forth!

"BOOM——!!!"

The city gate shattered into pieces in the blink of an eye, flying backward like bullets.

The terrifying magical current sent all the defending Round Table Army soldiers flying!

In just one breath, only cries of agony remained scattered across the ground!
