Also, the sword was called the blood sword for a reason it could actually grow stronger as it got drenched with the blood.
It was clearly visible from the fact that Arcane's sword grew in length right after coming in contact with Jay's blood.

He understood right away that there was definitely sothing that caused the sword to behave in such a way.
One could listen to the blood sword's voice, well, if it was the Blood Overlord's apostle then he could most definitely hear the voice from the sword.
Since Jay wasn't an apostle of the Blood Overlord, he couldn't hear sothing like that.
Whatever, it was good that the sword wasn't talking to him since he would have freaked out if he had heard.

Well, he wasn't using the runes at the mont so the boosts from them weren't even present.
Of course, due to the demon arts, his speed had been doubled.
That was the only thing. While he thought that he was quite fast, to the higher demons, it was nothing.
They could even go faster than that.
Arcane was laughing and saying, "Is that your best speed!"

The sound of the swords clashing was being heard loudly since all the demons were quiet and were watching the battle.
None wanted to miss the Dark Overlord's moves if he was soone among them that is.
Reniea whispered, "Is master purposely going easy on him?"
Since everyone was quiet and despite being an open space, it was filled with silence, her words were heard by many who were near her.
The mont they heard that they understood what was happening.
Of course, if it was the Dark Overlord going out with his full strength, then none would be able to withstand that.

Seeing that Jay was wounded with the sword, they thought that he allowed the sword to hit him rather than actually getting hit by mistake.

Now Jay, who wasn't aware of what was going on, was shocked. Of course, he could take a good guess at what was exactly happening but oh well, it wasn't clear anyway.
Also, he did hear what they were whispering, but he didn't care about that thinking that it was a waste of ti since he never knew that Arcane would be provoked by that.

Yes, Reniea had asked a question that ended up turning into a fact or a statent because of which he felt as if he was inferior after hearing their words.
That was why he started using all of his powers he was indeed holding back quite a lot as if he wanted to test Jay.
Though the blow which Jay and Arcane traded earlier contained all of his strength which he had forgotten to control, after that everything seed under his control.
Of course, Jay had felt that the speed of the attacks was great but for so reason, the power had been reduced when compared to before that is.
But the decreased strength was sowhat at the sa level as that of Jay.
Whatever, Jay thought that it was in his best interest to stop taunting Arcane and start using what he had planned earlier.

For example, his Dash had evolved into Accel, but despite that, the system would call it Dash or sothing similar.
That was pretty weird after all a programd system wouldn't do such a mistake on its own.
This was the mont that gave Jay the doubt about the system being a human or so other living creature because they were the only ones with a tendency to ss up.
He vanished from the place and arrive right in front of Arcane. He followed Jay's movents with his eyes so there was nothing surprising with Jay's speed, yes nothing surprising other than the fact that his speed, as well as his strength, had increased by many tis.
