Jay could actually take the sand and escape, that would be the best and easiest way.
He wouldn't be required to defeat the monster. Of course, his speed stats were high enough to run away with ease, however, it seed like he had different plans.
He wanted to defeat the monster probably because of the similar bizarre stats that it showed!

When Jay checked the profile, he found that the beast in front of him was at its peak, of course, it was one level away from being perfect and so stats hadn't maxed out yet, it could be said it was probably the strongest beast that he had ever seen.

the spider in front of him was brown in color, of course, it had red stripes all over its body.
Its legs were pointy and were red too with so black stripes.
A point to note was, the spider's entire body was nowhere to be found,
The only thing that was visible was its legs, head, and a portion of the body.
It was as if the spider's other part of the body was completely lost.
Jay didn't care about that and just rushed to attack.

Needless to say, his speed skyrocketed and he teleported in an instant. He was just a ter away from the spider's head.
With all his might, he swung the hamr he was holding in his right hand!
The hit was strong enough to destroy even a mountain, well, that was because of the increase in attack stat.
But who knew that his attack would have absolutely no effect on the monster!
"What the..."
A dent was ford on the monster's head, at least it seed to be like that.
Jay was shocked to see that, he expected sothing unusual for sure but never did he thought that his attacks would have no effect!
The dent that had ford got restored almost imdiately when the sand started to move. Despite the spider's speed, it didn't even move as if it was trying to test Jay.
Moreover, its defenses were pretty high from the start so it was kind of obvious that attacks won't work easily on it, however, the reason for its defenses beca clear after Jay swung the hamr and hit it!
"It was as if I hit the sand with a rock..."
The sand doesn't get hurt nor does it feel in a pain, of course, it can reform itself.
If the hard rock were to be smashed into tiny pieces, so tiny that it won't be visible to the naked eye anymore, not from far at least, then it would be no different than the sand.
'Tsk...'
'It really suffered nearly no damage...', was what Jay said to himself when he took a look at the HP bar.

Decrease in only one HP was nothing more than taking no damage because that could be restored almost instantly!
The spider was gathering all the sand and was getting bigger slowly.
One thing was for certain, Jay couldn't defeat it by using the weapons because they seed to have no effect on it.
'I guess it's ti for to use my skills...', was what he said.
Indeed, using magical attacks or skills would have a greater effect!

The mont he used that skill, clouds started to form in the skies.
Although the skill took a few minutes to take effect, it was quite strong and effective!

Thunder started to fall all of a sudden as if it was raining. Intriguingly, it was black in color, the light, and strikes that is.
Of course, that was why it was called 'Black Lightning' too, which was synonymous with Dark Lightning.

Jay had never used the evolved skill earlier, and even if he did, he wouldn't have unleashed the power that was beating unleashed at the mont.
Both, his stats and runes helped the skill to get ten tis stronger than what it should have been.
Thanks to that, the sand and rock, which was said to be immune against thunder, lightning, or electricity, turned into ash in an instant.
Of course, even fire wouldn't have been able to achieve that. The greater the intensity of the fire, the higher is the potency of the sand to turn into a glass.
Well, to form glass and suitable temperature is indeed needed. In any case, Lightning is able to achieve sothing that even thunder isn't able to achieve!
It is said that four basic states of matter are solid, liquid, and gases, at least at ordinary room temperature.
However the discovery of another state of matter was confird soon enough, that is, plasma. There are tons more, but these were the ones that were stated to be much more common and basic.
Thunder, sothing one cannot understand unless one has learned atomic chemistry or physics, is a strong discharge of electricity and nothing else!
If such a thing strikes sothing, it is evident that the damage will be ten tis the sa intensity of flas!
That was why the elent Thunder was considered to be one of the strongest elents just next to Fire and it was an elent which the Dark Overlord has mastered perfectly!
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he was the only one who could use the power of thunder and lightning in the Mortal realm.
Jake sohow knew that and was delighted to see the Dark Lightning striking the spider.
The battle was nowhere over yet, the spider was still fine even after experiencing the shock.
Indeed, it was suffering quite a large amount of damage, but that was not enough to kill it.
Jay noticed that due to which he continued to make the thunder fall.
Of course, while this happened, he noticed sothing which was unexpected.

He was shocked to see that his large MP was getting drained as if it was nothing.

He then realized sothing, his MP had indeed been increased but the sa had happened to the skills.
This ant that they would consu much more MP than before according to the theory - 'Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed!'
If MP wasn't being used, then such a large force wouldn't be able to be ford!
Of course, that was why MP always increased when a skill leveled up or when the skill beca stronger.
He noticed this at the mont and thought about it for a minute.
He continued to attack while thinking since he couldn't let the spider get ti to regain its HP.

'At this rate, I would run out of MP even before the spider gets killed...', he concluded.
He had to give so ti to rest so that he could recover the MP. Needless to say, his MP recovery rate was at least ten tis faster so resting a bit would indeed recover a lot so he wasn't worried about that.
All he needed was a ti where he could rest, but he knew that if he were to stop attacking; the spider would regain HP completely!
Also, the spider kept attacking while he was attacking it, it was obvious because it didn't want to die.
'Tsk, I need to give myself so rest so that my MP gets resorted...'
While saying this to himself in his mind, Jay equipped another item that he had in the inventory.

When this notification flashed, Jay was relieved.
He hadn't used the glove for quite so ti and now he was really in need of it.

'Now I can rest a bit...'
Right after thinking this, he moved his left hand forward and said, "Second Skill, Gravity Control!"
