After finishing dinner Jay and Serena had gone to sleep and now a lot of ti had already passed and it was morning again.
Jay as usually yawns and wakes up from his sleep early in the morning and then stretches his body a bit as a habit.
He opened the window through which cool and chilly air blows in but he didn't have any sense.
He was still sowhat sleepy since yesterday he slept a bit late but that wasn't bugging him at all.
He was in fact excited in order to check his rank right now but at the sa ti he was losing interest as ti passed since he already knew his rank thanks to the system.
He opens the door and walks out of it only to find his mom awake and reading the newspaper that gets delivered daily.
"Good morning mom...", he said.
His mom didn't hear him initially and was keenly reading the newspaper when suddenly he raised his voice and said, "GOOD MORNING MOM!"
"Eh!?"
She imdiately looked towards Jay with surprise and then with a pause said, "Good morning Jewel..."
Jay was laughing after looking her surprised expression and she too was giving a bright smile.
"Reading newspaper mom?", he asked.
She nodded her head and said, "Yes... it has beco my habit haha."
She did have a phone but for so reason she felt comfortable while reading the news from the papers.
Jay didn't say anything else against her and then slowly walked towards the washroom in order to get freshened up.
His mom again resud reading the news when suddenly she found sothing intriguing.
"The hunter association is in turmoil?", she read whatever was written about it with great interest.
Jay observed this after returning from the washroom and asked, "What happened mom? Is there sothing interesting written today?"
His mom looked towards him imdiately as he asked since she had almost finished reading.
She said, "Yes... in fact it's quite weird too..."
Jay was intrigued after hearing that so he walked towards her in order to read what was written.
She handed the newspaper to him.
'Hunter have gone missing!', that was the title that was written.
The mont after Jay read that he said, "The heck? Just how many tis do they go missing in a single month!!?"
His mom was confused at what he was saying but she didn't pry about it and just walked towards the kitchen in order to prepare so light breakfast.
But whatever Jay asked to himself actually made sense. He had already heard a similar type of news a few days ago just recently when they were being kidnapped by Vampires.
The only difference was that in the previous case, random girls were kidnapped whereas in the current case, specific hunters were missing!
"Hmm... the hunters ranks... they are quite high.", the nas were clearly listed along with their ranks.
Nine of them were below B rank and almost all of them were A rank.
It seed as if they weren't the main attack force of the hunter association. In fact they were just the third spare team that the hunter association had just ford.
The main attack force and the team B of the hunter association were on a different mission and that was why Team C was sent to the current mission.
Jay read everything that was written and thought that it was quite ridiculous for such a team to vanish in a B rank dungeon.
"The heck...? This news looks so fake...", after saying that he just put the paper down and was about to go to wake Serena when suddenly he rembered sothing.
It was as if a na was flashing in his eyes that was quite familiar to him.
"W-what was that?", he tried to recall and thanks to his mory he was almost instantly able to recall it.
"Mia!?", he was shocked to see that na in the list.
He rushed and picked up the newspaper again in order to confirm it and when he re-read, it wa sundered Mia whose na was placed there.
It seed like her na was also a part of it and she too had gone missing.
"She...", he could rember the mont when she had kissed him but he thought that it was just because she was worried and nothing else.
He couldn't understand what to do since he couldn't possibly help her since he didn't know where she was in the first place.
"The team... they entered a B rank dungeon... then why did they go missing?", he started to think after saying this.
He sat down in the sofa that was placed there and started to imagine the possibilities that might have happened.
"Could it be...", he suddenly got a small clue about what might have happened.
'Sotis the dungeon's true power is hidden it it is mismatched... or sotis the reader becos faulty...', that was sothing which couldn't be denied because whatever he thought was indeed correct.
Those instances could happen anyti. Also, Jay himself had experienced all these things so he didn't have much doubt about this case.
"That might have been the case...", for so reason he couldn't bring himself from abandoning her because he himself knew how it would feel to be left by soone even when they know that you are in trouble.
"I should save her...", was what he said when suddenly Serena woke up and ca out of the room.
"Brother... what happened? You look tensed!", she said while rubbing her eyes.
"Uh... nothing... they have sent ho work and asked us to do sothing else... I will be back by evening. Tell that to mom!", imdiately after saying that he rushed out of the ho.
Serena slowly walked towards the sofa and grabbed the news paper after sitting there.
"Howork...? In newspaper?", she says this while yawning slowly.
"He really has beco weird...", after saying this she sleeps on the sofa for soti since she was still too drowsy.
'DASH! STEALTH!'
He used both the skills simultaneously and rushed towards the hunter association which was nearby since he wanted to get so information.
He could have easily teleported but it seed as if the skill teleportation also had so restrictions placed on it.
It seed as if it couldn't be used to travel to the places which had quite high magic barrier.
But that was only for now, after the skill would get upgraded, no barrier could stop it.
Since the hunter association's building was protected by a barrier, he couldn't teleport to the place directly.
But he didn't use his common sense to use the skill to teleport to a nearby area and then rush from there.
"I'm almost there...", he was just 3 miles away from the hunter association and within a blink of an eye he arrived in front of the building. There were many people and cops present there.
But regardless of that he rushed towards the main entrance since he was using stealth and went straight inside only to find many people in a tensed expression.
The atmosphere was too gloomy and all of them were panicking. The families of all the hunters that had gone missing had co and had been causing a ruckus inside the building.
'This is...', Jay was shocked when he saw what was happening.
All of them were too tensed because of which he couldn't possibly ask them directly as what had happened and where the dungeon was located.
But he couldn't possibly just go like that when suddenly he heard a voice in his head.
"Master, woof woof"
'Wolfy?', he said in his mind.
"Yes master... master are you near so strong power spot?", he asked.
'Huh? Power spot?'
Jay couldn't understand what Wolfy was saying so he asked.
"Yes master... you are standing right under it... woof woof!", Wolfy said.
Jay was confused to hear that. He thought that Wolfy was talking about the Hunter association but that couldn't have been the case.
'Weird... sothing that is right above ?', while thinking this he slowly walked towards one of the officials who were inside.
"Where is this dungeon located where the team C vanished?", he asked.
The man who was already frustrated beca even more annoyed after hearing the voice and said, "In the south near the Sovast city..."
"Okay thanks.", imdiately after saying that Jay vanished from the place while using the skill 'Dash' and ran at full speed.
"Welco..."
"Huh...?", the man looked here and there only to know that there was no one around him.
"The hell... did I beco crazy because of the work load and tension?", he asked himself because it felt as if he was talking to himself.
Jay dashed out of the building and was now out of the barrier that was placed.
'TELEPORT!', he thought this in his mind imdiately after which he arrived at the place where he could see many hunters and high ranking officials gathered.
They were all screaming and shouting but one thing was clearly heard, "We need to wait for 5 more hours! The main force is going to arrive soon..."
For so reason they didn't enter themselves or perhaps they weren't able to enter the gate that was in front of them.
'A gate... as an entrance to a dungeon? That's completely insane...', Jay thought.
"I need to enter imdiately!", just after he said that he dashed towards the gate to enter it when suddenly he was pushed back by 100 tres.
He sohow managed to prevent the falling but it seeemd as if the impact was great since even after using stealth a force field pushed him back.
'Fuck... what the heck? A restricted gate?', he thought.
Just as he was going to try again, a system notification popped up.
