Chapter 2141: Manting Just Abducted the Child

Ye Qianqian made the comnt to herself inwardly before stepping forward and saying, “You’ll have to apologize to Little Yue’er on your own. As an adult, you have to set a good example.”
Shen Manting wiped her face and asked, “Are my eyes swollen?”
Ye Qianqian nodded instinctively before quickly shaking her head. “It’s just a little red,” she replied.
Shen Manting climbed out of the bed and slipped on her slippers before heading out.
Shen Luo’an’s expression was dark as his gaze stayed on Shen Manting’s retreating back. “Thank you,” he whispered.
“Don’t ntion it,” she replied with a wave of her hand.
All of a sudden, a thought occurred to her, and she remarked, “You’ll have to pay attention to Manting’s moods. Make sure that her change in personalities doesn’t scare the child.”
Shen Luo’an stiffened. He had not thought that far.
Upon hearing Ye Qianqian’s words, he was duly impressed.
He stood up and was about to go out but before he could take another step, he heard Nanny He yelling, “Manting! What are you doing?”
Shen Luo’an’s heart skipped a beat. Likewise, Ye Qianqian jumped up in shock and hurriedly ran out.
Outside, Nanny He was holding a fruit in one hand, and a knife in the other. She looked over helplessly and stomped her foot before exclaiming, “Chase after her! Manting took Little Yue’er and ran off!”
“F*ck!” Ye Qianqian cussed without thinking. “Damn and my mouth! What a jinx!”
Beside her, a dark shadow flew past swiftly. Shen Luo’an’s footsteps were very fast, and he was soon out of the villa.
Ye Qianqian hurried after him. As she ran, she pulled out her cell phone to dial Shen Zhilie’s number.
Shen Luo’an quickly ran to the left. By the ti Ye Qianqian caught up with him, her call had connected.
Shen Zhilie had just completed a consultation and was taking a sip of water during break ti when he saw his cell phone vibrating. He picked it up and answered, “I was busy just now. What’s up?”
“Old Shen, co ho quickly! Manting just abducted the child!”
Shen Zhilie’s heart constricted, “What’s going on?”

In actual fact, with the child in her arms, Manting couldn’t run far at all.
When Shen Yuexiao saw Shen Luo’an and Ye Qianqian running out, he couldn’t help but widen his eyes and look up at Shen Manting. In his kiddy voice, he asked, “Mommy, are we playing hide-and-seek with Daddy?”
Shen Manting’s heart brimd with gleeful satisfaction as she carried the child in her arms.
Tears suddenly tumbled out of her eyes again. Tightening her arms around her child, she said, “Yes. Rember not to make a sound when you see Daddy later. Daddy has to choose Mommy first before Mommy takes you ho.”
“Alright...” Shen Yuexiao replied, pretending to understand what she had just said.
Shen Manting wiped the tears from her face before crouching down and making her way across the villa garden. Then, with the child still in her arms, she left from the back door.
Nanny He watched her in horror from the side as Shen Manting left with the child, and she quickly followed.
Quietly, she retrieved her cell phone and dialled Shen Luo’an’s number.
Unfortunately, it seed that Shen Luo’an had not taken his cell phone with him in his hurry to leave the house. No one answered the call.
As she watched Shen Manting running into the distance, Nanny He began to panic and could only call out, “Little Yue’er, co back!”
When Shen Manting heard that, her whole body froze.
Upon turning around and seeing Nanny He, Shen Manting hugged Little Yue’er closer to herself and began to run again.
Nanny He hurried after her when she observed that and shouted, “Manting, stop running! Where do you intend to take Little Yue’er? Co back!”
The weather in the capital was still quite chilly at the mont.
Shen Manting was only wearing a thin and flimsy dress, it didn’t look like it could provide much warmth.
When a gust of wind blew, she could only shiver and hug the child in her arms even tighter.
Nanny He’s heart ached, and she said, “I won’t chase you any further. Co back and wear an extra layer before you leave! The child doesn’t have enough layers on. Don’t let him catch a cold!”
