Chapter 2114: Look at What Your Son Did
Shen Yuexiao tottered down from Shen Longyue’s thighs before running towards Old. Mrs. Shen and exclaiming, “rry-go-round!”
When Shen Manting saw how excited her son seed to talk about where they had gone, she stepped forward to explain his babbles, “We went to the amusent park and he went on the rry-go-round. Xiao Yue’er, you were so happy, weren’t you?”
Xiao Yue’er’s fair face turned red as he nodded his head, he was filled with great excitent and screeched, “Yes, happy!”
She then pinched her child’s cheek as she found him extrely adorable and said, “I’ll return to my room then, Dad, Mom and Grandmother.”
“Run along,” said Old Mrs. Shen and her eyes curled into crescents as she smiled. “Oh my. Look at him. He’s really my great-grandson. Co here, take a look at the toys that your uncle brought ho for you,” she said.
The elderly woman carried the little boy into the nursery where she opened up the box of toys that Shen Zhilie had brought ho. She then said, “Here. Do you know how to play with toy blocks?”
“Yes,” said Shen Yuexiao and his eyes sparkled as he looked at the colorful blocks that Old Mrs. Shen had taken out.
Shen Luo’an entered the room and said, “Grandmother, I’ll keep him company. You should rest.”
“Why should I? I’m not tired. Why are you poking your nose into this when I’m playing with my great-grandson? Run along. Don’t bother us,” chided Old Mrs. Shen.
Shen Luo’an, chased away rcilessly, chuckled helplessly to himself before agreeing, “Alright then. Call if you need anything.”
“Run along, run along,” said Old Mrs. Shen. She then ignored Shen Luo’an’s presence by the door and continued to stack blocks with her great-grandson. “Do you like this?” she asked.
“Yes!” answered Shen Yuexiao.
Shen Luo’an watched them for a while before returning to his room.
Shen Manting was already seated on the bed and was holding onto a tiny object that had bought today.
When she saw Shen Luo’an enter the room, she grinned and said, “Dear, I want to keep this. I’ll treat it as our nto.”
She stood up as she spoke and walked over to the cabinet by the side of the room. She then pulled a drawer open to reveal a chest full of trinkets.
It contained all the little objects that she buys whenever they went out.
There were necklaces, keychains and even little stuffed toys.
She carefully kept the tassel keychain that she had been holding onto inside the drawer before starting, “When we’re old, we’ll be very happy to reminisce on all the places we’ve been to rember all the mories we’ve made.”
Shen Luo’an felt his heart turn soft and tender when he heard what she had just said.
He gently embraced her from behind and softly asked, “Where did you pick this up from?”
Shen Manting’s face flushed slightly and anxiously asked, “Why? Do you not like it?”
“I like it,” affird Shen Luo’an and he pecked her ear gently. “I like it very much. It’s really romantic,” he continued.
It was so romantic that Shen Luo’an does not dare to believe that Shen Manting had prepared this for their future.
As Shen Manting looked at the colorful objects of various sizes in front of her, she gave a pleased smile and said, “I’ll get my hands on more of these in future. I always feel so blissful whenever I see these.”
“Yes, really blissful,” said Shen Luo’an. He smiled but inside, his heart felt depressed.
It was precisely because he was too blissful that he felt as if he had stolen all of these.
It was over 7:00 pm when they returned ho so Shen Luo’an decided to help Shen Manting comb her hair in the room.
They chatted in their room and did so silly things. Neither of them knew what they were doing but ti certainly flew by in the blink of an eye.
Knock knock.
Soone was knocking rapidly on their door rather excitedly. “Brother, co out and look at what your son did,” said Shen Zhilie.
Shen Luo’an stood up and opened the door when he heard this.
Shen Zhilie was standing by the door with a puzzle in his hands. It was a completed cartoon puzzle. “Look! I didn’t help him with it,” claid Shen Zhilie.
