Chapter 1685: Ye Qianqian Now Has a Different Boyfriend
Shen Zhilie’s eyes shined brightly. There was a twinkle in them.
Under the rays of the sun, it made his eyes sparkle even brighter.
Ye Qianqian was dazed for a mont. She quickly regained her senses and looked away. With her face reddening slightly, she replied, “It was passable.”
“Judging from your expression, I don’t think it was rely passable.” Shen Zhilie pulled her along as he entered an alley. He lowered his voice and asked, “Wasn’t I aweso?”
“Oh my god... How on earth do you know all that miscellaneous bits of history, especially enough to engage my father in conversation for such a long ti? I couldn’t even get a word in.”
“You ntioned before that your father loved reading up on history, so I paid special attention to it. I gave myself a crash course. I didn’t expect it to be that helpful.”
Ye Qianqian was stunned. “When did I say such a thing?”
“You did.” Shen Zhilie was very sure. “You ntioned it in passing and I rembered.”
“Did I? I can’t rember.” Ye Qianqian couldn’t recall it, but she soon gave him a tug and remarked, “It’s so hot here. Let’s finish our grocery shopping and go back.”
“What’s the rush? Let’s take our ti.” Shen Zhilie held her hand and pulled her over. “Give a kiss,” he said.
“Over my dead body! You’re so damn sweaty and stinky!”
Shen Zhilie acted as if he hadn’t heard her objection. He pulled her over to him and planted a kiss on her lips.
Ye Qianqian blushed furiously. She shoved him aside and exclaid, “Go away!”
“Give a kiss! Co on... Don’t go...”
Ye Qianqian ignored him and turned to leave.
At the market, the number of people there who knew Ye Qianqian wasn’t high, but it wasn’t low either.
The town was small. Most of its inhabitants had left to work outside. Hence, it wasn’t often that the residents were able to see a good-looking person.
When they noticed Shen Zhilie, all of them went starry-eyed.
They looked at Ye Qianqian enviously and began to whisper among themselves.
“Wow! He’s so tall and handso! And he’s so fair! He looks just like a demigod!”
“The girl looks very familiar. Who is she?”

Just as Ye Qianqian and Shen Zhilie were choosing vegetables, a woman suddenly rushed over and patted Ye Qianqian on her shoulder.
Ye Qianqian turned her head to look. The woman did look familiar, but Ye Qianqian couldn’t imdiately recognize who she was.
The woman looked at Ye Qianqian’s face and suddenly exclaid in surprise, “It’s really you, Qianqian! I’m Yilin! We were schoolmates in junior high, don’t you rember?”
Ye Qianqian stared at her for a long mont before she finally had a hazy recollection of such a person.
Xia Yilin had dropped out of school before finishing junior high. Rumor had it that she’d been involved in many peculiar forms of work. She was infamous in the town. Ye Qianqian had often heard Fang Tongtong ntion her when gossiping.
“Oh... Long-ti no see.”
When Xia Yilin saw that Ye Qianqian had finally recognized her, she rejoiced and looked at Shen Zhilie. She asked, “Is this your boyfriend? I seem to rember that the one I saw before wasn’t him. Have you changed boyfriends again?”
“What?”
Her words were baffling. Ye Qianqian wasn’t sure how to react. She asked, “When did I ever bring a boyfriend back?”
“Don’t bother lying. I saw it all. The man you brought back before was dressed in black. He was very tall and handso. He even drove a Bentley. He looked so cool!” Xia Yilin looked very envious as she spoke those words. “It’s so aweso to be able to go to the city to work. All your boyfriends have been so cool. What exactly do you do for work? Give a referral, won’t you?”
Ye Qianqian was absolutely baffled. “What the hell? Since when did I have a Bentley-driving boyfriend? What do you an I’m dating soone else?”
Shen Zhilie felt personally attacked for so strange reason. He looked at her with his eyes full of grievance.
Xia Yilin beca annoyed and retorted, “Oh my god! It’s not even as if changing a boyfriend is anything to be ashad about. So what if your boyfriend is now soone else? That just goes to show how great your seduction skills are! All the n you date are so handso and drive such expensive cars. I, on the other hand, don’t have that skill...”
