It was annoying enough carrying around a torch but carrying around a torch in battle wouldve been extrely annoying. Thankfully, with this cape that lights up, he wont have to worry about a situation like that anymore.

Even if Seol had Jamad and Karuna, there were still situations where he could be injured.
In those scenarios, this gloves effect was considerably useful.
