There were only two words in his mind: kiss her!

Without hesitation, Shiro leaned in and kissed Eriri, surprising them both.

Eriri's eyes widened in shock. She hadn't expected him to do it for real. Her heart raced, fluttering like a startled deer, yet she didn't pull away.

A few minutes later, they stood in the elevator, exchanging glances but saying nothing.

With a ding, the doors opened.

Shiro took Eriri's hand and led her to the dining area.

Due to the accommodation and study, Totsuki had invited various companies and celebrities for the breakfast selection the next day.

Many recognized Eriri, and as the two held hands, kind smiles surrounded them. Eriri, feeling flustered, buried her head lower, but her lips curled into a smile, revealing her good mood.

As the saying goes, so are happy while others are not.

In stark contrast, Haruno, sitting in a corner, felt anything but joy. Watching Eriri with Shiro, her mood darkened. The chopsticks in her hand trembled, almost breaking.

Mrs. Yukinoshita, savoring her cake, noticed her daughter's discomfort. "Haruno, what's wrong? You look unwell."

Haruno forced a smile. "I'm fine, just tired. I'll head back to my room for a bit." Without further explanation, she stood up and hurried away.

Mrs. Yukinoshita was surprised; Haruno's destination was not back to their room. She wondered what her daughter was up to.

anwhile, Mr. Yukinoshita observed thoughtfully as Haruno left. He recognized the young man who had previously saved his wife.

Shiro and Eriri found a seat, and while he noticed Haruno's departure, he chose to ignore it, feeling awkward after their kiss.

Soon enough, Haruno sat down behind them.

Eriri jolted back to reality, and her expression soured. "Yukinoshita Haruno, shouldn't you be with your family?"

"Ara, it's rare to et soone I know," Haruno replied with a faint smile. "I thought I'd say hello."

"I don't rember us being that close," Eriri shot back.

"I'm here to see Shiro-kun," Haruno said, her tone casual.

"Really?" Eriri glanced at Shiro, confusion etched on her face. Though she knew he and Haruno were acquainted, their relationship was unclear.

"Ahem, Haruno and I are just good friends, Eriri. Don't think too much about it," Shiro interjected.

Haruno's expression shifted, feigning sadness. "Have I been abandoned, Shiro-kun? How heartless! After everything we've done together."

Eriri's eyes narrowed, her curiosity piqued. "What do you an?"

Shiro felt overwheld. "I didn't do anything like that!"

Haruno simply poured herself a glass of water and picked up the nu, acting as if she belonged.

This infuriated Eriri. She had thought it was a date, only to have a third wheel show up.

"Shiro-kun, if you ever want sothing, just tell ." Haruno said playfully.

"Yukinoshita Haruno, enough!" Eriri exclaid.

With tensions rising, Shiro quickly said, "Haruno, why are you here?"

"Do you really dislike ? It seems no one loves old won," Haruno teased. "But I won't give up. If you don't want , I'll just have to live alone forever."

"Shaless Won! What are you hiding from ?" Eriri retorted, her mind racing with ideas for her next work.

Shiro scratched his chin, feeling embarrassed. "This is... a temporary situation."

"I don't care! I'll recognize you for life!" Haruno declared dramatically.

"Okay, let's order food first, and we can sort this out later," Shiro suggested, trying to defuse the situation.

As they argued over the nu, neither was willing to budge on their choices. In the end, an enormous amount of food arrived—enough to feed at least ten people.

Eriri and Haruno, both well-known in elite circles, attracted curious glances from those around them, adding to their embarrassnt.

Fortunately, Shiro's large appetite ensured that most of the food ended up in his stomach.

It was evident that while the dining standards at Totsuki Resort weren't as high as at Hinata Inui, they were still superior to most places. No wonder it was considered a hotspot for the wealthy.

However, the price was steep; a minimum day stay cost 80,000 yen—almost equivalent to a month's rent for a mid-range apartnt.
