When Shiro Sakamaki discovered the white dragon, the white dragon also discovered him.

Aqua blue eyes narrowed, the air instantly filled with killing intent, and violent energy began to build in her throat. Before Shiro could even speak, a blast of thunder surged from her mouth.

A flicker of helplessness crossed Shiro's eyes—he hadn't expected the dragon to strike first without even attempting communication.

The dark wings behind him expanded dramatically, wrapping around his body and forming a black cocoon.

Once the thunderous breath faded, the cocoon slowly unraveled.

Kanna Kamui—the white dragon—stared in shock. Her eyes widened. Unhard? He blocked her breath that easily?

Shiro exhaled calmly, flapped his wings, and vanished in an instant.

Kanna suddenly felt pressure atop her head. That sa man... had landed on her? Rage flared.

Just as she was about to channel energy into her horns and retaliate—

Bang!

An imnse force slamd her head into the ground.

"Hey, you could at least listen first."

BOOM!

A wave of destruction rippled out as her skull hit the earth, sending smoke and dust everywhere.

When it cleared, Kanna lay pinned. She tried to move but couldn't. Shiro's internal strength made his body overwhelming in power, holding her down with ease.

She whipped her tail with thunder-charged fury, aiming to knock him away.

"Go back."

Lightning surged within him, his body cloaked in a dark, domineering aura. With a single kick, he deflected the tail.

And then—

A shimr appeared in Kanna's eyes. Mist built. Tears welled up and rolled down her cheeks.

Shiro blinked, stunned.

"...You're a dragon. You cry when you lose? Seriously?"

He scratched his head awkwardly. "Hey... you understand , right?"

"I do," she mumbled.

Her voice shocked Shiro. It wasn't a rumble, but a small, childlike voice—delicate and clear.

"If you understand, then listen next ti before attacking soone."

"I'll let you go now, but no more surprise attacks. Got it?"

The dragon blinked slowly. "Got it."

After confirming she ant it, Shiro leapt off her.

Kanna sat up, shaking her head. Though his blow didn't hurt much in raw damage, the impact left her dazed.

"So," Shiro sighed, "why attack the mont we t? Couldn't we just talk?"

"Despicable humans," she growled. "I have nothing to say to your kind."

"You humans lie to dragons. You act friendly, then slay us once we let down our guard... and use our bodies to make weapons and armor."

Her voice trembled with anger and sorrow. Her wary eyes never left Shiro.

Shiro raised both hands. "Let's not generalize. Sure, there are so humans who... aren't great."

"But you saw earlier—I could've taken you out. If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't bother chatting."

Kanna hesitated. The image of her being flattened earlier replayed in her mind.

She nodded. He wasn't wrong.

A soft blue glow surrounded her. Her enormous dragon body began to shrink.

Monts later, standing in front of Shiro was a white-haired little girl, the tips of her hair fading into violet, with delicate horns poking through her head. She wore sothing resembling a traditional national outfit.

Paired with those familiar aqua blue eyes, thunder magic, and now a human form—

Shiro froze. Isn't this... Kanna Kamui?

The girl looked totally different now—innocent, expressionless, and oddly adorable. A stark contrast to the ferocious dragon from monts ago.

Shiro forced himself to act surprised. Gotta keep the act up.

"I didn't expect you to be a kid..."

He put on a face of exaggerated shock, silently patting himself on the back for the performance.

"You're strong," the little girl said flatly.

Shiro found her deadpan tone surprisingly amusing.

"Well, let's start fresh. I'm Shiro Sakamaki. What's your na?"

"Kanna... Kanna Kamui," she answered honestly this ti.

"All right, Kanna... let's call you kid for now."

"So, kid—why'd you co to the human world?"

"You're not an adult yet, and with your current strength, it's really dangerous for you here."

He wasn't lying. With her mid-tier dragon strength, flying openly in human territory was like waving a "please hunt " flag.

Dragons were treasure troves—stronger flesh, elental resonance, and materials like horns and claws that humans coveted.
