Soon enough, the evening was here. The two carriages, polished and ready, were prepared for Aoto and the others. The sky was painted with shades of orange and yellow as the sun began to set.

Just like they were welcod, Scarlett and the others were also present there in ti for their departure. The only thing different was that Irish wouldn't be going with them. From here on, this was her ho.

"Hope we'll et from ti to ti," Ingrassia says, hugging Irish tightly. For her, Irish had already beco a reliable and cherished friend.

"I will," Irish says back calmly, a small, genuine smile on her face.

"See you again," Aoto waves his hands towards both Scarlett and Irish.

"It was a great ti here," Chiyoko adds, her voice cheerful.

"Yes, once again. I'm really thankful for everything you did," Richard bows deeply in front of Scarlett, his gesture full of sincerity.

It was hard to imagine that this sa guy was once quite the bully and had an egoistic personality, but now it seed his character had gone through a drastic change.

"Well, anyone can change if so many bizarre things happen to them," Scarlett thinks to herself. "Although I still can't understand how it didn't affect

that much, even though I have gone through way worse things. Is it because I'm racist, or do I have so screw loose?" Scarlett ponders, but no answer cos to her mind.

She then shakes her head, shifting her attention back to reality. She puts on a polite smile on the outside. "No worries, I could do at least that much for my forr classmates," she replies, her voice warm.

Richard nods with a faint smile before going back into the carriage. Chiyoko and Aoto also enter the carriage.

"I'll bring Elminia next ti too," Ingrassia says in an excited voice as she hugs Scarlett and then pulls back, her eyes sparkling.

Scarlett couldn't help but roll her eyes the mont she rembers Elminia. "Not that loli, I'm pretty sure she'll whine around and complain about everything," she thinks.

But she didn't say it out loud.

"Yes, you all are always invited," Scarlett says, her voice friendly.

"Bye bye!" Ingrassia waves her hands towards Scarlett, Irish, and then the others, before going inside the second carriage. Then she peeks outside and waves once again with a charming smile that could light up the evening.

"She's too good for soone like Aoto," Li Feng adds casually, waving his hands lightly, his expression still unreadable .

"Huh?" The statent slightly surprises Scarlett. She turns to look at Li Feng with narrowed eyes. "Is that so? Is it just a casual sympathy or sothing else?" she asks, giving him a smug look.

Li Feng sighs. "I'm not into human won, but that doesn't an I don't feel pity," he says, his voice flat.

"Whatever. You always talk so sour. At least blush or sothing," Scarlett sighs, shaking her head at his stoic nature.

Seeing that the carriages had already started moving, slowly rolling down the path and away from DreadHaven, she also turns around.

"Let's go, everyone! Go back to your day... no, I an, your night," she says, a small smile on her face as she realizes it was going to be night soon. The farewell was over, and it was ti to return to their own lives.

The next day, another normal morning arrives. No matter which kingdom it was, the routine was almost the sa for everyone.

People waking up, having so tea or coffee, and reading the newspapers, or having a nice shit in the toilets.

Children being energetic, playing around in the streets, while old folks sat on seats outside restaurants, having a chat with each other over breakfast.

Today too seed a nice morning, full of sunlight.

"Even today, no news of Prince Richard. I wonder when the Holy Knights are going to get rid of that succubus pretending to be a goddess," an old man nad Solaris says, having a sweet cup of tea with a sour mouth.

As a law-abiding citizen of Alida, he had been feeling really pissed by all the things happening around him. All he could do was let out his frustration with his friend group of old folks.

"It's Dragonoid, Solaris... to be accurate, or that's what it's confird. Besides, she defeated a demon king, so she's not an easy opponent to deal with," Solaris's friend, Cleric, says, trying to be the voice of reason.

"Right. My grandson is still under her hypnosis. He has divorced both of his wives and refuses to think about any other won than her," the third friend, Viren, sighs, his face a mask of disappointnt.

"It's your fault for sending him to Gwarga, Viren. What's even worth in that small kingdom anyway? Can't be compared to Alida at all," Solaris says with a high and mighty tone.

Viren hugs his head with a long sigh. "Why is it my fault? How could I have known?" he says, his voice defensive.

"He's right. What if you had seen her? Many publishers are writing articles describing her beauty. I don't think even we could resist against it," Cleric says, trying to diate.

"Hmph, I have seen enough beautiful won. Do not underestimate ," Solaris sneers, turning his head towards inside the restaurant to call for the waiter.

"Bill please—"

But before he could speak, his words pause. Everyone else were looking up in the sky for so reason. People in the streets stopped, and so even ca out of their hos to look up.

Seeing Solaris's reaction, the other two also turn around, looking up.

"Is there sothing in the air?" Cleric murmurs, his eyes squinting.

At that mont, a huge shadow appears over everyone. A big, floating circular thing shows itself to everyone. Everyone's faces were in full of confusion.

The floating thing seed to be made of iron or tough tal and was as big as a building, yet sohow it was floating without any issue.

Unknown to them, it was a spaceship, directly from the Kingdom of Armant. These spaceships appeared at the sa ti, not only in Alida, but in Mystveil and Gwarga as well.

"What is that—"

BAM!...

A huge laser light bursts forth, blasting the entire area in one go. Debris and shockwaves burst forth. The citizens imdiately realize that it was definitely not so friendly thing but actually a ssenger of death.

Screams fill the entire street. People running around everywhere, trying to safeguard their lives, their faces pale with terror.

Laser... missiles... sonic beams... other futuristic attacks which people of this world never imagined. Just one thing after another just kept coming out of the spaceship, causing a massacre everywhere.

As the ships moved, what it left behind was only destruction and death.

"What is happening? JUST WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?" people shout, their voices lost in the chaos.

The two carriages move at their usual pace. Since Alida would co earlier than Darwitz, Aoto and the others were planning to go to Alida first and see if the situation was good or not.

Once they felt like everything is alright, only then they would leave Richard there so that he could take over the throne and clear the misunderstandings regarding Scarlett. Of course, Chiyoko would also be with him to protect him from any kind of assassin attempts.

They were already inside Alida. Unlike the horse carriages, these earth wyvern carriages provided by Scarlett were both durable and very fast.

These earth wyverns were not normal either. This breed was only found in the demon realm and was three tis stronger than a normal earth wyvern, but despite that, they were very obedient. This really helped them in shortening their journey.

But as they were inside Alida, faint sounds could be heard by them. It was very faint, but also like soone screaming with it's lungs out from far away.

"Guys, can you hear sothing?" Ingrassia was the first one to notice. She pops her head out of the window to communicate with Aoto and the others in the other carriage.

The carriage also stops the next second.

"Did sothing happen?" Aoto takes his head out as well, his expression alert.

"There's so floating thing in the air," the carriage driver points, his voice shaky.

"Floating thing?" Chiyoko and Richard also peep from the window to see.

Far away, the one spaceship was moving around, blasting off house after house. Despite the huge distance, it was still big enough to be easily seen.

"Spaceship? This world got spaceships?" Aoto shouts in surprise, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"You know that thing?" Richard asks, barely holding his patience, his voice tight.

"Yes, but not in a practical way. All I can say is, it's a pretty dangerous thing. We need to get to your royal palace imdiately," Aoto replies, his voice clearly serious.

"Should we contact Miss Scarlett?" Ingrassia asks, her voice trembling slightly.

"Not now. Let's get to know the situation more clearly," Aoto says, turning his head to the driver. "Driver, go as fast as you can," he says, then at the guards who had accompanied him all the way to Dreadhaven and now here. "You guys get into the carriage as well. We can't waste ti going in a fashionable way," he adds, his tone leaving no room for argunt.

The mont of life and death passed. As people were screaming for help, for adventurers or official mages to co and save them, the spaceships turned transparent and disappeared in the air like they never ca.

All They left behind was the destruction they had caused. In such tis, ergency alerts were made. Newspapers imdiately published urgent reports about it, as breaking news, spreading it across the whole Kingdom, and even outside of the kingdom.

Yet despite that, ti passed by, but nothing happened, No alert, No Breaking news or new batch of Newspapers But despite it, it clearly showed that sothing even bigger was going to happen.

This was just a calm before the storm.

Morning passed, afternoon ca, and then afternoon passed, and it was already evening. The patience of the common people was running thin, especially in Mystveil, which was supposed to be the strongest kingdom, yet they still faced large casualties.

A huge crowd of people were gathered outside of Vladimir's royal palace, seeking answers.

The crowd was like a sea of angry, scared faces.

anwhile, in another room of the basent beneath the royal palace, Vladimir was standing with a faint, chilling smile on his face.

The room was no different from a laboratory, full of tubes with green liquids, chemicals, and body parts.

His eyes were glued on the tube in front of him. Inside that, unlike other tubes, this tube was filled with a mix of red blood and an unknown green liquid. A female was trapped in there, still conscious, but her condition was far from good.

She was none other than Feyre, the vampire with the unique skill of persona reversal. Having her skill still activated on Scarlett till now was taking a terrible toll on her body.

All her fat seed to have been burned away from her body, making her look like she was just all bones covered by thin, pale skin. Even then, blood just kept coming out of her eyes and ears, while her body slowly twisted slightly each minute, as if it was trying to crush its own bones.

Yet, her regeneration kicked in everyti, just enough to keep her alive, in a state of perpetual agony.

"P-please... just kill . I can't hold on," she begs, her voice a weak, gurgling whisper, full of pain.

"Have so patience. The ti has co. You'll soon be released from your pain and achieve eternal sleep," he says calmly, his voice devoid of any sympathy, as if he were talking about the weather.

At that mont, a tall woman enters the room. Her light blue hair was tied neatly, her steps calm and confident. She wore a crisp white shirt under a blue coat, a small notepad tucked under her arm.

She was Raina, Vladimir's personal adviser.

"Your Highness, everything is ready. King Auren has done all the attacks around Mystveil, Alida, and Gwarga. The frustration of the people has reached its peak. All that is left is your statent," she says, her tone professional as always, not even glancing at the suffering vampire in the tube.

"Is the new king of Alida here?" Vladimir turns around, asking.

"Yes, he's also waiting," Raina replies.

******

A few minutes later, Vladimir finally arrives on the balcony, showing himself to the frustrated crowd. The whole crowd goes silent the mont they see him, their anger turning to anticipation.

Raina chooses to stand back, not showing herself with the majestic King Vladimir.

"Dear citizens, I am very well aware of what happened today morning," he shouts, his voice powerful and reaching through the distance, carrying a weight of authority.

"The truth why we have been waiting till evening is because this is a declaration of war," he says, his voice dropping to a serious tone.

The whole crowd gasps. It had been two hundred years since they last saw a war happening.

"Scarlett Nova, the self-proclaid goddess, has shaken hands with the King of Armant and did cowardly attacks on Mystveil, Alida, and Gwarga with its unknown and advanced weapons, You can certainly guess what their goal is..." he says, creating gasps from the crowd once more.

"Why not Darwitz and Victoria, you ask? Because the Kingdom of Victoria has also shaken hands with them, and Darwitz is also suspected to be with them," he continues, weaving a web of lies.

"First, she tried to assassinate all the kings who were against her, and was actually successful in that, killing the King of Alida and Gwarga. But I, Vladimir, am still alive," he says, his voice filled with a false sense of relief and pride.

"We even sent one of our Holy Knight mbers, Igris, to warn her about her wrongdoings and told her to confess before the Goddess and the people, but that evil woman captured him instead," he adds, his voice sounding pained, as if he were surely deeply hurt by the loss of his subordinate.

"What? The mighty Sir Igris has been captured?" one person in the crowd says, their voice filled with disbelief.

"The Dragon Slayer Igris got captured? Just how powerful is she?" many others say, their fear of Scarlett growing with each word Vladimir spoke.

"But do not worry. We have had enough of her tyranny. I, the King of Mystveil, declare open war against the Kingdom of DreadHaven. And anyone who will stand in support of her, anyone supporting her, is a traitor of humanity," he declares, his voice booming with righteous fury.

"Since we are fighting for humanity, the savior of humanity, the Holy Knights will personally take charge to vanish this evil out of existence," he shouts, his voice filling motivation in everyone's mind, turning their fear into anger and a desire for revenge.

At that mont, he turns around, and then from behind him, another man joins him. He was a man with a slick smile, average height and had a beard without moustache.

"With , the forr Arch Duke of Alida and Now the current new King of Alida, Lord Berlin, will also join us as an alliance to fight alongside us," Vladimir says, taking Berlin's hand up towards the crowd, presenting him as a symbol of their united cause.

"Although Gwarga has yet to choose its new king, I highly believe that they will also help us in this fight," Berlin says with a bright, convincing smile, playing his part perfectly.

"So please, pray for our victory against evil," Berlin adds, his voice dripping with sincerity.

"May the Goddess bestow judgnt upon evil!" Vladimir shouts, raising his fist in the air.

"MAY GODDESS BESTOW JUDGENT UPON EVIL!" the whole crowd repeats, their voices rging into a powerful chant.
