(7 Days Later, Leo's POV – Unknown Planet)

Thick drops of blood splattered onto the cold, sterile floor, leaving a crimson trail in Leo's wake.
A deep gash tore through his side, the wound pulsing with sharp, searing pain as he staggered forward, pressing a shaky hand against it in a desperate attempt to slow the bleeding.
His fingers were slick with his own blood, his grip weak, but he had no ti to stop.
The facility around him was eerily silent, save for the distant hum of flickering overhead lights and the faint echo of his own ragged breaths.
White, sterile walls lined the dimly lit corridor, the scent of antiseptic thick in the air.
He had trusted the wrong people.
He had placed his faith in the wrong hands.
And now, he was paying the price.
His vision wavered, the edges of his world darkening as the loss of blood took its toll. Every breath was labored, each step heavier than the last, yet he pushed forward, sheer willpower being the only thing that kept him from collapsing.
'Stay awake.'
'Keep moving.'
'Survive.'
He kept muttering to himself, as he continued to trodd forward.
He was supposed to be smarter than this.
He was supposed to see the betrayal coming before it struck.
But this ti, he had been outplayed.
After playing Terra Nova Online for such a long ti, he should have known better than to buy into the narrative that the Righteous Faction was good and that the Evil Faction was bad.
However, he could only bla his own dumb decisions for the predicant that he was in now.
'I should have trusted Muiyan Faye. That woman was crazy, but at least she did not an harm–' Leo realized now, as he grit his teeth and pushed on, trying desperately to make his way out of this facility without losing consciousness.
However, at this critical mont his body started to fail him.
The paralytic poison laced on the dagger that had cut him started to take full effect on his body, making his legs go numb as he stumbled and fell to the ground.
*Thud*
*Crash*
As he fell down, he flipped a chair by his side in the hall as well, breaking it in the process.
'Well fuck, soone is sure to hear this noise—' Leo thought, as he felt the grip of the grim reaper tighten around his neck.
Things did not look so good for him right now, his chances of survival without external help were more or less 0.
Even if no-one else found him and kill him where he laid, he would eventually bleed out on this very cold floor.
Instinctively, he knew, that if he lost consciousness once, he was never going to wake up again, and hence Leo fought to stay awake.
Fought to stay alive.
As he dragged his paralyzed body across the cold floor, one arm at a ti, as he left a bloody trail in his wake.
"There he is—" a voice suddenly said behind him, as Leo vaguely saw two figures clad in black coming his way.
"I'm done for…. This might be the end of " Leo muttered to himself, as although he knew he was going to die, he still reached around his waist and clutched a dagger, as he planned to die fighting, even if he could not stand.
Oddly, there was no fear of death inside him.
Regret for not living longer and achieving more? Yes.
But no fear.
And he showed it when he looked defiantly into the eyes of his captors, who gazed down upon him with pity evident in their eyes.
"Look at his pathetic ass trying to plunge a dagger in us.
We are Grandmaster level warriors, kid, you can't harm us even if you tried" One of them said, as just at that mont, suddenly, Leo saw two bright bursts of light, followed by two exploding heads of his captors.
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
*SPLAT*
There was no fighting, no ti to even react, as the two Grandmaster level fighters standing before Leo, died like insignificant dogs.
"Who?" Leo mused, as walking into his field of vision, he saw Muiyan Faye, the individual responsible to escort him out of planet Terra Nova, and the individual he mistook as his enemy after their first eting.
"Look quite rough there…. Skyshard" Faye said, as Leo chuckled heartily in her presence.
"Save –" he muttered, before passing out, as Muiyan Faye imdiately rushed to heal and detoxify him, despite the toll it took on her own body.
"Amazing…"
"To have been cut by a dagger coated in Basilisk's poison and still co out this far? He must really have a strong will to survive and a freakish bloodline to match it" Muiyan Faye assessed, as she broke into beads of cold sweat.
As an agent of the evil cult, it was her duty to protect and nurture all individuals who could potentially possess the bloodline of the 'Tiless Assassin', and while it was not confird that he had such a bloodline, Muiyan Faye had a feeling that he did, which was why she went above and beyond to rescue him today from this Righteous Alliance facility.
"I hope for your own sake Skyshard that you do possess the bloodline of the ancient god.
For if you do not, you will beco an enemy of the Righteous Alliance and a useless pawn for the Evil Cult.
And although we are not as wretched as the Righteous Alliance and don't dispose of the candidates that don't live up to our expectations, we don't nurture useless individuals either.
For your own sake. Prove your worth" She mused, as after applying so life saving aid, she slung his slump body over her shoulder and made her way out of the righteous faction dical facility.
Her destination?
The Evil Cult headquarters, Tithia.
