I wasn’t sure what kind of system there was for this dream... But slis were classically used as early enemies in gas.

In so gas, they had a resistance to physical attacks, and were quite powerful...

But the sli in front of didn’t really give off that vibe...

And I didn’t sense any hostility... Well, most likely it was placed here to be the first enemy I would fight.

I didn’t have any weapons, but I could pick up a stick from sowhere and fight it... It was as I was thinking this, that a sudden idea flashed in my brain.

If I woke up now, I would be able to finish the work in two nights instead of three.

I quickly resolved to be defeated and rolled down in front of the sli.

I doubted the sli had very high attack power, but my own HP was rely at 10 points.

It would surely chip away at it if I waited long enough.

It was a strange sensation. It was neither solid nor liquid.

Luckily, my boss had given vivid instructions on how to effectively hang myself. It was when I had ssed up at work.

Slis didn’t have hands, but it extended a part of its body just like a hand.

Well, it didn’t have to be a rope. As long as it would help wake up from this dream.

I had no idea if it understood ...but the sli began to lead very slowly through the forest.

After so ti, the sli appeared to have arrived at its destination.

What I found there, was a single building.

It did not look like it was occupied, but it was full of books.

The sli looked like it was brimming with a sense of accomplishnt after having led here.

Of course, I couldn’t exactly read its expression, but sohow I could feel the emotion.

“Now. Rope, rope.”

I quickly entered the building and began to search for sothing that could be used as a rope. But I was unsuccessful.

On the other hand, I did find a giant bookshelf that was stuffed with an imnse volu of old books.

Maybe I could bring my HP to a 0 if I were to be squashed by it.

With that thought in mind, I imdiately began to put it into action when—I suddenly had a horrible feeling.

It was telling that ending my life in this world was sothing I should avoid.

I just started to feel as if I shouldn’t die.

I don’t know why, but that’s what I now felt. An intuition perhaps.

And my intuition was often right.

...In any case, I started to think that I would not kill myself.

I would wait quietly until I woke up. And then stay up for three nights and work.

Well then, I had so ti to kill until that happened.

Thankfully, I was surrounded by books.

I could read so of them and wait until I woke up.

The covers on the books were all so old that I couldn’t read them.

And so I chose a random book and opened it...

I could see why I would dream about such a thing. It was a very ga-like system.

Still, it was rather unfriendly to have so few items displayed on my status.

I didn’t see anything about levels, so perhaps it was a system where your status rises with your skills.

There were gas like that.

I considered this while flipping the pages, and eventually, I finished reading ‘Magic Book on the Annihilation of the Soul.’

The sli that had led here was now poking with its arm(?)

And there were nurous slis there.

There was...probably about 80 of them.

And just like before, I sensed no hostility.

If anything, it seed almost like they revered in so way.

“Do they want to ta them?”

At those words, the slis began to move all at once.

Apparently, they were answering in the affirmative.

“I don’t mind taming you...but how do I do it?”

Just as I asked the question, the bell rang in my head.

At the sa ti, a window appeared in front of , just like it had when I tad my first sli.

The one thing that was different...was that the window was very long.
