After such incidents, we safely arrived in the town of Ordarion.

‘It looks pretty...normal.’

At least, from what I could see on the outside.

The town was surrounded in walls, but that wasn’t unusual, as it protected them from monsters.

‘Yes!’

‘Normal!’

The slis agreed.

...It did not seem like the kind of town that would cause the rain to fall in order to send a Fire Dragon out to attack another town.

I wondered about this as I got off of the Proud Wolf.

‘I’ll wait here then!’

The Proud Wolf said as he rushed towards the forest.

As people would get scared if I took him into town, he always waited outside.

“Welco to Ordarion.”

As I walked towards the town, the guards that stood on both sides of the gate greeted .

...There were usually guards stationed near gates...but they usually didn’t talk to .

It seed like these guards were very passionate about their job.

“Ah, thank you.”

I said as I continued on my way.

Just then—I felt eyes turn towards from several directions.

It wasn’t because I was sensitive to such things.

It was because the slis on my shoulder were wild animals, and had sharp senses.

And they were telling that people were watching us.

They weren’t exactly turning their heads, but their eyes followed us...

‘...So it wasn’t just a rumor. They really do monitor each other here.’

‘They’re all staring at us!’

‘Isn’t it strange?’

The slis said.

It didn’t seem hostile...but it was strange to be stared at when you were just walking down the street.

In any case, I continued to move through the town.

I would pay the guild a visit first.

“...The guild seems pretty normal as well.”

I arrived in front of the guild without incident.

Fewer eyes seed to follow us the further we got from the gate... Still, I was sure that we were still being watched.

Regardless...I should check the Rainmaking Device within the guild.

I would have the slis sneak in.

But...I couldn’t unleash the slis while people were monitoring .

‘Team Proud Wolf. I want a few of you to co over here and sneak into the guild.’

And so I told them to infiltrate the building.

And so several slis jumped off of the Proud Wolf’s back.

As now all of the slis recognized such missions as ones where ‘they could eat delicious at,’ they were always happy to comply.

Though, at first, they had ended up fighting over who could go...it seed that the slis had now set up an order for who went on missions, and so they no longer argued.

However, the slis were quite slow. So it would take ti for them to arrive.

And so I decided to look at the quests in the guild in the anti.

I thought this as I opened the door.

“Welco to the Ordarion guild!”

The n behind the counters shouted as soon as I stepped in.

In the other towns, there were usually more won...but there were only n in the Ordarion guild.

And...they all looked very strong.

Not necessarily like Adventurers who were tall and muscular.

You might think they were normal at a glance...but my instincts after having fought many battles were telling that they were strong.

‘Oh! They look strong!’

‘These guild workers are different!’

Even the slis seed to agree.

...I doubted these guild workers would ever have to fight, so why did they seem so strong?

I wondered about this as I turned to the quest board.

Just then, I realized that sothing felt wrong.

And it only took a second...to figure out what it was.
