He leaned forward, " Actually, just I explain, let it be just sothing in a pentagon structure."
Celestina adjusted her glasses and smiled, turning to the large computer screen positioned next to Raymond. "I’ve got sothing that might inspire you," she said, her voice calm yet confident.
As her fingers danced across the keyboard, the screen flickered to life, displaying a sleek, modern pentagon-shaped building, complete with glass facades and sharp industrial lines. It was stunning, bold, and futuristic, yet sohow managed to maintain a tiless elegance.
"This," Celestina began, gesturing toward the display with his right hand finger working on the mouse, "is what I had in mind when you ntioned a pentagon structure. Each side can represent a different block, as you requested."
After displaying different angles, he continued, "The design blends modern aesthetics with a strong industrial feel. We’ll use steel for the frawork and large glass panels to give it that open, airy look you wanted. Natural light will flood the interior, creating a sense of space and luxury."
John leaned forward, his eyes widening with excitent. "Wow. It’s... it’s perfect. Exactly what I had in mind, but better. Does it fit within the 200-by-200-foot plot?"
Celestina nodded confidently. "Absolutely. The pentagon shape maximises the use of space without feeling cramped. Each side is about 80 feet long, leaving plenty of room for interior display areas, offices, custor lounges, and even a rooftop terrace. Plus, the central area could be an open atrium where we can feature your premium cars."
Raymond, leaning back in his chair, chid in with a grin. "It’s like a giant jewel box for your cars. Very fitting for the type of luxury you’re selling. The space is functional, but it also screams ’look at .’ This thing is going to draw attention from miles away."
John laughed. "Well, attention is what we’re after. What about the cost? I see a number there—$5.2 billion for the construction."
Raymond nodded and then, with a mischievous grin, added, "That’s a steal, my friend. You won’t find a pentagon showroom like this anywhere else. Plus, it includes labour, materials, and our cutting-edge design. We could add a few zeros if you’d like it to look even fancier."
John chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Five-point-two billion, huh? If I throw in another billion, do I get a pentagon with a moat? Maybe a helipad?"
Raymond slapped the table, laughing. "Helipad? Why not a space launch pad while we’re at it?"
Celestina, smiling at their banter, added, "In all seriousness, John, this design is efficient in terms of materials and labour. We could explore cost reductions depending on the types of materials you want to use, but the $5.2 billion includes everything—top quality, no compromises."
John nodded, still smiling. "I’m not asking for discounts on quality. The price is fine, but... can we get it done in two weeks?"
The room fell silent for a mont before Raymond and Celestina burst into laughter. Raymond wiped a tear from his eye. "Two weeks? You’re asking us to perform a miracle, my friend."
John grinned. "I’ll pay for more labour. You can bring in as many workers as you need. Heck, bring in machines, robots, whatever it takes. Hehee, doesn’t it work buddy!
Celestina, still chuckling, said, "It’s a good thing you have a sense of humour, John. But realistically, a project of this scale usually takes months. However, with enough resources and manpower, we could expedite the process. It won’t be two weeks, but we’ll try to get it done as fast as possible."
Raymond, now more serious, leaned forward. "If you’re willing to invest in additional labour and machinery, we can push the tiline. Let’s say... three months. But I’m open to working sothing out."
Before John could respond, his phone rang. It was Grace, his fiancee. He glanced at the caller ID and quickly stepped out of the room to take the call.
"Hey, babe, I’m in the middle of sothing important. Can we talk later?" John said as he stepped into the hallway.
Grace’s voice ca through, slightly distorted by poor reception. "John, I just need a minute—"
The line was cut off. John frowned, sending her a quick text: Network’s bad. Will call later. Love you.
He slipped his phone back into his pocket and reentered the room, where Raymond and Celestina were still discussing possible adjustnts to the design.
"So," John said, sitting down again, "about that price... Can I get a discount if I pay in full upfront?"
Raymond raised an eyebrow, leaning back with a thoughtful expression. "Full paynt upfront? Now you’ve got my attention." He glanced at Celestina, who gave a slight nod.
Raymond smiled. "Alright, John. You’re serious about this, I can tell. Let’s make it an even $5 billion. But this deal is contingent on full paynt by the end of the day."
John grinned. "Deal. I have no problem as long as everything is sorted and paperwork done."
Raymond pushed a tablet across the table, displaying the paynt details. "Just fill this out, and we’re good to go. Once the paynt is confird, we can schedule the site visit and start moving forward."
John quickly filled in the required details and transferred the funds. Within minutes, Raymond’s phone buzzed, confirming the transaction.
"Well," Raymond said, standing up, "it’s official. You’re about to own one of the most impressive showrooms in the world."
Celestina nodded in agreent, still smiling. "I can’t wait to see it all co together."
"Let’s visit the site," John suggested, standing as well. "I want you to see the land and how this structure will fit."
"Agreed," Raymond said. "We’ll et you there. I’ll bring Celestina, and we can get started with the groundwork."
An hour later, the four of them were on the road, heading towards John’s plot of land. John and Laura led the way in his car, while Raymond and Celestina followed in a sleek rcedes Benz AMG.
The drive to Huruma Street took about an hour, and as they arrived, the expansive plot of land ca into view. It was a pri location, just about one kilotre from Greenland City, with a clear view of the bustling cityscape in the distance.
John pulled up to the site, followed closely by Raymond and Celestina. As they all stepped out of their vehicles, John pointed towards his automotive spare parts store, which stood at the edge of the plot. "That’s mine," he said with pride. "I’ve been running the store for so ti. Now, I’m just expanding the business."
Raymond surveyed the land, his eyes wide with approval. "This is a fantastic location, John. The topography is ideal, and you’ve got great visibility from the main road."
Celestina walked the periter, taking pictures and making notes. "This place is perfect," she said, her excitent palpable. "The showroom will stand out beautifully here, and the natural surroundings will enhance its appeal."
As they stood together, looking out over the land, John received a ssage from an unknown number. The ssage read: Young master, it’s either you choose peace or problems. After John read the ssage he ignored and believed he was out of simple threats by then.
"This place is going to shine," Raymond said, his voice filled with admiration. "Not just for you, John, but for the whole city. People will co from everywhere just to see this."
John smiled, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction. "Let’s get it done."
They all shook hands, and with the final details confird, Raymond and Celestina signed the contract, agreeing to complete the project within one month. The next day, the site would be buzzing with activity, as so materials would be imported and for the construction to begin.
As they parted ways, John couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitent. His dream was finally coming to life, and soon, the world would see the automotive showroom he had envisioned for so long.
Raymond and Celestina got back into their vehicle and drove off. John and Laura remained behind, still surveying the plot.
Laura broke the silence, " Mr. You are good at scouting. Indeed this place is quite cool for the business. How many years have you been in business?"
John, smiling and tapping on his Samsung phone, turned to Laura. " It’s just God’s favour. I have worked and if I could trace when I begun business then you will not believe, right?
"Nah... the reason behind this, is that, as long as I am partnering with you in business ideas... I have been astonished. A young master like transacting $5 billion. I thought you’re on another planet..."
John interrupted, " Wait... kindly let’s not go that way, let’s just focus on the current task. When we are done with this and we go sowhere to refresh then I assure you the full story."
After they began walking towards their vehicles. John turned to Laura, " When this structure is completely done, what role will you like to run in the business?"
Almost speechless, Laura couldn’t expect it coming directly that way. "I will work in the managent sector. I’m sure when given a chance, I will deliver with my strength and commitnt."
Just John seed to be thinking of a role that could fit Laura, a chanical voice cracked in his head from the system. A mont of silence followed and John thoughtfully asked. What is it System?
