"Fatty, turn over, turn over..."

Tang Tang patted Jiang Yingxue’s belly, and then saw her belly wriggle a bit, as if the child really turned over inside her womb.

Jiang Yingxue wasn’t surprised by this; it was obvious this wasn’t the first ti, and she had gotten used to it.

The first ti it happened, she got quite a scare and even went to the hospital for a check-up, only to find that the child was perfectly healthy, which eased her worries.

After calming down, she felt both astonished and delighted, thinking that since the baby inside her could already understand Tang Tang’s words, the baby must be so clever, and the more she thought about it, the more beautiful it seed.

But later she found out that her unborn child could only understand Tang Tang’s words, no one else’s, not even her own.

Gradually, she ca to accept it.

"Alright, go play sowhere else and stop bothering the little brother; let him rest for a while."

Jiang Yingxue still intervened to stop Tang Tang from continuing, worrying that Tang Tang might wear out her son.

"Alright then."

Tang Tang waved her little rattle and looked towards Shen Siyuan.

"Hey, big guy, what are you doing?"

"I’m doing nothing, and please call either brother or uncle." Shen Siyuan spread his hands.

"Okay, shiny, then can you play with ?"

Shen Siyuan: ...

This habit can’t be changed, huh?

Shen Siyuan squatted down and picked her up in his arms.

"Did you finish your lessons? Out causing trouble again?" Shen Siyuan kissed her cheek.

Tang Tang didn’t answer but gently pinched Shen Siyuan’s cheeks with the lion hand puppet on her hand.

"Ah-woo, ah-woo..."

She was pretending the big lion was biting.

Shen Siyuan carried Tang Tang back inside the house and saw Teacher Xu coming out of the study, followed by Xiao Ya.

"Finished your lesson?" Shen Siyuan asked.

"Yes, all done. Mr. Shen, I’m heading off now," Xu Xiaojing said.

"It’s lunchti, why not stay and eat before leaving?"

"No, thank you. Goodbye Xiao Ya, goodbye Tang Tang," Xu Xiaojing declined.

Shen Siyuan didn’t insist; he was just being polite.

He then escorted her to the door, and as soon as he opened it, he saw Dou Dou and Duoduo with a little boy outside.

Shen Siyuan didn’t greet them imdiately, instead saying to Xu Xiaojing, "Teacher Xu, take care on your way ho."

While they were talking, Duoduo and Dou Dou took the little boy inside, at which point Shen Siyuan closed the door.

Then his gaze turned to the little boy standing aside.

The little fellow seed sowhat afraid of Shen Siyuan, standing motionless nearby.

"Don’t just stand here, co inside," Shen Siyuan said.

Upon hearing this, Dou Dou pulled him inside.

Playing in the living room with Xiao Ya, Tang Tang turned her head towards the door, showing a look of puzzlent.

"Oh?"

She had not only seen Duoduo and Dou Dou but also noticed a stranger "person" coming in.

So she approached Dou Dou directly.

Dou Dou was a bit surprised because she knew that even in her ghostly form, Tang Tang could still see her.

She wanted to hide but didn’t move, considering she was holding onto Wei Zixu.

"Oh~"

Standing in front of Dou Dou, she pointed at Wei Zixu beside her.

Since she wasn’t wearing the hand puppet, she "couldn’t" speak.

"Can she see ?" Wei Zixu whispered in Dou Dou’s ear.

Dou Dou nodded but then shook her head.

This was because Shen Siyuan explained to her that Tang Tang wasn’t actually seeing her, but rather seeing the color of her body, as everyone has a unique color, ghosts included.

Tang Tang could see them through this thod.

"This is Potato," Dou Dou said.

Of course, Tang Tang couldn’t hear it, so she ran to Shen Siyuan, pulling him over and pointing at Wei Zixu.

"Oh~ oh..."

She was indicating to Shen Siyuan that there was a stranger in the house.

"Got it, you go play with Xiao Ya."

Shen Siyuan gently patted her little head.

Xiao Ya, having finished her morning lessons, was finally at leisure, sitting on the living room floor playing with her Barbie dolls.

Tang Tang wasn’t particularly interested in these dolls and preferred plush toys.

Shen Siyuan sat on the sofa as Dou Dou and Duoduo appeared beside him.

Wei Zixu wasn’t surprised to see this, as they had already shown him what they could do on the way.

Wei Zixu seed very afraid of Shen Siyuan; since entering, he had been holding his head down, shrinking back, and when pulled by Dou Dou, he continued to hide behind her.

"Are you scared of ?" Shen Siyuan asked curiously.

Among the ghosts he had encountered, aside from so cautious ones, there were none quite like Wei Zixu.

He wasn’t just scared; he was terrified.

Shen Siyuan deduced this because his soul was trembling like an unstable signal.

Even the usually carefree Dou Dou noticed his odd behavior.

"What’s wrong? There’s no need to be scared; Potato is a really good person."

Duoduo scratched her head, seeming to understand sothing, and explained, "Wei Zixu was kidnapped and then strangled to death."

Duoduo spoke flatly, her experience having been similar, though even more cruel.

Even after becoming a ghost, for a long ti she had always been scared of adult males, similar to how Dou Dou, who drowned, fears the ocean.

It took Duoduo a very long ti to overco this psychological hurdle, so she understood Wei Zixu’s feelings well.

Dou Dou recalled how Wei Zixu ntioned bad guys earlier, realizing they had kidnapped and killed him, and couldn’t help but feel indignant.

"The police should have caught him and given him the death penalty..."

"Shot with a handgun, bang bang..."

"After he dies and becos a ghost, I’ll burn him; burn him until he howls... howls..."

Shen Siyuan: ...

Jiang Yingxue was just stepping in from the balcony when she heard Dou Dou’s words, hastily touching her belly, whispering, "You mustn’t learn from Sister Dou Dou when you grow up."

Dou Dou’s words seed to ease Wei Zixu’s tension.

Finally, he stamringly spoke up, "Hel... hello sir."

"Hello, what’s your na?"

Shen Siyuan gently asked, trying to ease his tension.

"His na is Wei Zixu." Dou Dou interrupted before Wei Zixu could answer.

"I wasn’t asking you," Shen Siyuan said irritably.

He intended to use conversation to ease Wei Zixu’s anxiety, but Dou Dou’s interjection spoiled the effect.

Seeing that Wei Zixu still kept his head down without speaking, Duoduo grew anxious for him.

"Speak up! Brother will definitely help you," Duoduo urged.

"I... I..." Wei Zixu got even more nervous after hearing Duoduo’s urging.

Dou Dou turned to look at him, wondering why this little guy who had been chatty on the way here was suddenly silent.

Realizing this situation wouldn’t work, Shen Siyuan ford a finger formula and with a thought, called out the Ten Thousand Soul Banner, instantly absorbing Wei Zixu into the Soul Banner.

After a spin inside the Soul Banner, he released him.

This instantly cald him down, even making him feel a sense of closeness to Shen Siyuan.
