Chapter 526: The Core of Eclipsing

With Vaeloria and Nia continuing their conquest, each and every mber of the Pantheon were doing things of similar nature.

At this point, they all knew it was only a matter of ti now before they ascended once again, but before that they all would enjoy all these Realities had to offer.

While... destroying them.

In Reality 18 — a Mana-Eclipse Reality where beings grew stronger by eclipsing and consuming stronger natures — two Ancestors t at the highest point of their domain.

They stood atop a floating obsidian spire that pierced the perpetual twilight sky, where multiple moons hung in a slow, overlapping eclipse.

The air here was thick with the scent of sothing... ancient.

The First Ancestor, a tall woman with silver skin and eyes like collapsing stars, was the first to speak.

"Why is there a disturbance from the lower fraworks?" she asked, her voice carrying a calm authority.

"Usually, such matters are beneath our attention. But this one... it’s reached all the way up to True Reality. That alone makes it unusual."

The second Ancestor, a broad-shouldered man with skin like obsidian and glowing red fissures running across his body, nodded slowly.

"Agreed... and if such a thing continues, the balance of everything will be thrown off."

HUM!

He raised his hand, and a massive projection ford in the air between them — a window that pierced through all the layers, descending straight to the lowest frawork: the multiverse.

And as the image stabilized, what they saw was downright ridiculous.

Before their eyes, Universes were being destroyed one after another.

Entire cosmos collapsed in on themselves — stars winking out, galaxies folding into black voids, tilines unraveling like frayed thread.

And the destruction was thodical, almost elegant in its brutality.

The two Ancestors watched in silence as three figures moved through the carnage.

Drake, Quell, and Kade — three of Ash’s sons — walked calmly through the ruins of a shattered universe.

It was really just Drake carrying the load, his aura and presence alone doing all the heavy lifting.

After a kind of heart-to-heart with Ash, one thing beca clear to him—he wouldn’t get in his father’s way, no matter what.

Still, his goal hadn’t changed.

He wanted his own verse, a place where power ca from one’s own hand.

So why not destroy the other Realities instead of his father’s?

While Quell and Kade ca along for the brotherly love, just happy Drake had finally co to his senses.

Before the two Ancestors could comnt further, three won walked into the chamber.

Raven entered first — long, flowing white hair cascading down her back like fresh snow, pure white eyes that seed to contain endless emptiness, and pale, flawless skin.

A white hollow circle tattoo glowed faintly on her forehead.

She wore a sleek black battle dress that accentuated her graceful yet powerful figure, her presence radiating the quiet authority of the Goddess of Emptiness.

Sumr followed, her long black hair and matching black eyes giving her an elegant, shadowy beauty.

She moved with quiet confidence, her dark attire blending seamlessly with the obsidian surroundings.

Katherine ca last, her long blonde hair glowing like gold, her bloody crimson eyes sharp and predatory.

She carried herself with the usual bold and casual grace, as her crimson dress hugged her slender figure.

The three won casually took seats at the table without invitation, their combined presence imdiately shifting the atmosphere in the chamber.

Raven leaned back, crossing her legs as she spoke first, her voice smooth and intrigued.

"So, this is a Reality of Eclipsing... fascinating. I’ve been wanting to see this one up close."

Sumr smiled faintly, her black eyes sweeping over the two Ancestors.

"Yeah, just rember we’re heading into that Isolation Reality next."

Katherine’s crimson eyes glead with amusent as she rested her chin on her hand.

"You heard my sisters..." she said playfully, before pausing as if sothing slipped her mind.

"Oh, right, you didn’t." She shook her head with a chuckle.

"You two are Ancestors, right? Look, we’ve co here politely to retrieve both the core of Eclipsing and the very idea of it."

The two Ancestors tensed imdiately, their auras flaring with alarm. The woman with silver skin spoke first, her voice sharp.

"You dare co into our Reality and make such demands? Who do you think you are?"

Raven’s white eyes stayed calm, but her presence seed to press down heavier, the hollow circle on her forehead glowing with greater intensity.

"Hm, we are the Ineffable Pantheon... haven’t you heard of us?" she asked, tilting her head ever so slightly.

In truth, they had co solely for the Core of Eclipsing and the idea behind it.

This was because each of Ash’s wives had silently reached an understanding.

After discovering that their most recent surge in power hadn’t co from Ash gaining more companions, but rather from Nia, they all felt a renewed drive to support Ash even more.

That was what brought Raven into this Reality.

While she could have obtained the core through countless other ans—or even created one herself—she found that far too dull.

And for what she had in mind, she needed every resource she could get her hands on.

’Hmph, Nia thinks she can outdo ?’ she thought with a sly smile. ’Not in a million years.’

The two Ancestors froze.

The woman with silver skin visibly paled, her collapsing-star eyes widening in recognition.

The broad-shouldered man with obsidian skin stiffened, his glowing red fissures flaring brighter for a mont before dimming.

"The Ineffable Pantheon..." the man whispered, his voice heavy with disbelief.

"The ones from the Grand Ball... the Fourth Ancestor himself attended."

"We heard the rumors.... Entire Realities will be erased. They called it the beginning of Armageddon."

The woman beside him swallowed hard, her hands clenching at her sides.

"If you truly are them... then why co here for the Core of Eclipsing?"

They couldn’t quite grasp it—if the rumors were true, wouldn’t such beings be far less friendly?

And yet, taking the Core of Eclipsing from this Reality was basically crippling everything and everyone whose existence relied on it.

The man stepped forward, his face a blend of wariness and desperate calculation.

"Is it possible... for us to join your cause instead?" he asked quietly. "We have no wish to oppose beings of your power. If the tales are true, resisting would be suicide."
