Chapter 514: The Favorite Child?
The Mother’s voice remained calm yet carried an ancient weight.
"Tell
more, my child."
The Watcher continued, detailing everything he had witnessed at the Grand Ball, the erased Champions, the destroyed organisms, and the strange power the Ineffable Pantheon wielded.
The presence around him grew slightly heavier as he spoke, as if the Mother herself was listening with full attention.
When he was finished, the Mother let out a soft giggle, a sound like delicate bells chiming through the boundless, unknowable space.
"He’s had quite the journey so far, hasn’t he?" she remarked, her voice warm and affectionate, as though speaking of a mischievous child she hadn’t thought about in ages.
"My little troublemaker... always finding new ways to surprise ."
She lingered for a mont, her tone shifting to sothing almost teasing.
"Everything will carry on as usual, my child." And as she spoke, the space around the Watcher began to twist and distort.
"Just keep watching.... Wait until there are eighteen in all. Then... we shall see."
The Watcher bowed his head once more.
"As you wish, Mother."
He felt the pull ease, and the portal gently returned him to the Threshold of the Existence.
Once he was gone, the Mother’s true form began to manifest.
She was the most beautiful woman in all of creation — the very embodint of Existence itself.
Her long white hair flowed like rivers of pure light, cascading endlessly around her.
Her pupils were like living realities — swirling galaxies and countless worlds contained within each eye. She was massive yet slender, her form towering yet graceful, as if the concept of beauty had been given physical shape.
She offered a gentle, knowing smile, as though aware of Ash’s distant gaze.
"My favored child..." she murmured, her voice resonating through the boundless expanse. "You bear my ten blessings for a Karmic Debt yet to be fulfilled."
A soft laugh followed, laced with a subtle malice — a blend of playfulness and peril.
"No reality can elude Existence. For in the end... once a part of ... forever a part of ."
The Mother’s laughter reverberated across the Primordial Expanse as she receded into the light, her lingering presence saturating the very air.
She looked off into a distant direction — far beyond even the boundaries of her own domain — and simply winked.

Back in the Lost Reality of Dreams, Ash reclined in his simple chair, flipping through the pages of the Codex as Elysia, Creara, and Unara continued tending to him.
Suddenly, faint golden words materialized in the air before him, like a narrative alert only he could see.
[The Mother is watching...]
Ash paused for a mont, staring at the line.
Up to this point, Ash had read and understood every detail, from the road leading to the Pri Expanse to The Watcher’s brief journey.
Everything was laid bare before his eyes, even answering one of his most persistent questions.
Where had the Ten Lucky Draws co from?
The answer was here, spelled out in countless ways.
He realized he had been manipulated once again, dancing to soone else’s tune.
Yet unlike before, he didn’t frown or rage at the thought of being a pawn.
Instead, a slow, confident smile spread across his face.
It had beco clear to him now, that despite everything seemingly orchestrated by the Mother or whoever else, they didn’t know one crucial truth—they weren’t just part of a Greater Narrative.
This was a Novel, guided by a hand far beyond what the Mother or even the Father could comprehend.
His goal remained unchanged: he wanted the Author.
No, he wanted to beco the Author.
And in the end, the Mother, the Father, and anyone else were nothing more than characters in his story.
"Oh, woman," he murmured softly, his reddish-purple eyes shimring with quiet excitent.
"You could never hope to beat the Main Character..."
While she had probably always regarded him as nothing more than a favored child, yet she never truly grasped the accuracy of her perception.
For while, at this mont, he was rely a stronger character in his own right,
But what greater power could there be than to hold the role of the Main Character itself?
With a quiet snap, he closed the Codex and leaned back, his gaze lifting toward the ever-shifting sky of the Dream Reality.
"Alright let’s begin with the next phase."
With that, he disappeared along with the three spirits in a swirl of light.
----
They reappeared before the Dream, who had just slain the final wave of Nightmares.
She stood amid a battlefield of fading shadows and dissipating darkness, her silver form glowing with power, unscathed and radiant.
The last remnants of the Nightmares dissolved into mist around her as she turned toward Ash, her colorful eyes filled with eternal gratitude.
She drifted closer, her voice gentle and genuine, carrying the weight of soone who had endured ages of confinent and was now savoring the first taste of true freedom.
"Thank you..." she murmured, her words trembling with emotion. "For giving
this chance. For letting
beco more than just a forgotten mory."
She hesitated, her shimring, otherworldly form radiating vulnerability as she went on.
"If you wish it... I offer myself to you. Not only
— my sisters as well. We would be yours, in whatever way you desire."
Ash let out a soft chuckle, the sound warm but without commitnt.
Truthfully, he already had far too many won in his life... but it wasn’t in his nature to ignore the yearnings of those in need.
’After all... I’m still the Original Desire, aren’t I?’ he mused with a wry grin in his thoughts.
He gave no clear answer, simply brushing the offer aside with an easy wave as he slipped an arm around her shoulders in a light, comforting embrace.
"Focus," he told her, his golden eyes steady. "You’re about to et an old friend."
The Dream tilted her head, curiosity sparking across her delicate features.
HUMMM!!!!
Before she could speak again, a new presence began to take shape in the distance — a familiar aura that made her eyes widen in sudden recognition.
