Chapter 480: Gambling For Lost Realities?

Clara and Evelyn stepped inside, their presence imdiately drawing the Gambler’s attention.

He looked up from the table, his calculating green eyes scanning the two young won with clear interest.

"Well now," he said with a smooth, welcoming smile, gesturing to the two empty seats across from him. "Please, sit. I don’t get so much company often."

Clara and Evelyn exchanged a quick glance before taking the seats.

Clara sat forward with her usual easy energy, while Evelyn remained more composed, her gentle aura quietly radiating.

The Gambler leaned back in his chair, studying them both.

"So," he said, voice smooth and curious, "what brings two beautiful young ladies like yourselves to my humble domain?" He asked.

Clara gave a small smile, keeping her tone light but direct.

"Well, we’re here for information." She said and instead of beating around the bush,

"We’re looking for knowledge about the Lost Realities... and anything considered forbidden or hidden across the Mana Verses."

The Gambler paused, his green eyes narrowing slightly as he studied them more carefully.

"Lost Realities, huh?" he muttered barely audible.

However, as his mana sense extended....

He couldn’t feel any mana from either of them — not even a trace. That alone was strange. But what truly caught his attention was their existence level.

It was at the Nineteenth Dinsional. level.

The sa rank as him.

Seeing all of this a slow, intrigued smile spread across his face.

"Interesting..." he murmured. "Very interesting."

He tapped the table once, and the erald barrier from earlier flared back to life, once again encasing the three of them and the table in a perfect do.

The air grew still and heavy.

"As long as this barrier is active," the Gambler said, his voice calm but firm, "you will be forced to speak only the truth. Or you may choose not to speak at all."

He leaned forward slightly; his green eyes locked onto them.

"So, before we go any further... I’d like to know exactly who I’m speaking to. And more importantly — who I might be making a bet with."

He smiled, sharp and expectant.

"Speak.... if you will."

Clara and Evelyn exchanged a brief glance.

In this mont, neither of them felt any pressure from the barrier — the truth compulsion had no effect on them whatsoever.

Still, they decided to play along for now.

Clara spoke first, her tone light but honest.

"We’re from a faction called the Ineffable Pantheon." She began, "I’m Clara, the Goddess of Unspoken Verity... and this is my sister, Evelyn, the Goddess of Perpetual Change."

The Gambler blinked, clearly caught off guard by the unfamiliar titles.

"Goddess of... Unspoken Verity? Perpetual Change?" He tilted his head, a confused frown forming.

"I’ve never heard of those concepts before. What kind of faction is this ’Ineffable Pantheon’?"

Evelyn answered calmly, her voice soft and steady.

"It’s not a faction from any of the Eighteen Realities. We’re... different sort of new."

The Gambler studied them both for a long mont, his calculating eyes narrowing.

After a brief silence, he leaned back in his chair and folded his hands.

"Alright. Let’s say I believe you." He said, "You want information about the Lost Realities and forbidden knowledge. That kind of information doesn’t co cheap."

He smiled again, though this ti there was a hint of sothing sharper behind it.

"To get what you’re after... you’ll have to offer sothing even more valuable than Influence."

The thought alone was almost absurd—Influence was, after all, the most powerful known conceptual force.

Anything that could rival it existed only in the depths of forgotten realities, buried within places long lost to ti.

He paused, letting the weight of his words settle.

"So, tell

— what exactly are you willing to put on the table?"

Clara and Evelyn stayed calm upon hearing the news. It had been a long ti since anyone from the Ineffable engaged in genuine negotiations.

And as the daughters of Ash himself, what could possibly be beyond their reach?

Evelyn leaned forward slightly, her voice soft but carrying a quiet confidence.

"How about... you tell us what you desire the most?"

The Gambler paused, clearly caught off guard by the direct question.

He stared at the two sisters for a few seconds, then let out a low chuckle, his green eyes gleaming with greed and ambition.

"What do I want most?" he echoed, leaning back in his chair.

"Alright then. I want absolute ownership of Reality Seven — its people, its resources, its laws — everything under my control. Forever."

He grinned, clearly expecting them to laugh or retreat.

However, Clara didn’t flinch.

She casually lifted her hand, and a gentle golden glow blossod in her palm. In a heartbeat, she tapped into the Infinite Resource Fountain.

HUMMM!

A tiny, radiant orb materialized in front of them.

"This," Clara said calmly, "although not the core of Reality Seven... it’s sothing even better."

"It’s the core of completely new Reality. One with no inhabitants, history or structure." She then went on to explain the core along with showing him for proof.

After a few monts, he seen firsthand just how this was a new reality one where he can shape however he pleased.

The Gambler’s eyes widened as he stared at the orb.

He leaned forward, his calculating smile turning into sothing more excited, almost hungry.

"...You’re serious," he muttered. "This is real."

Evelyn nodded.

"Very real. So now that we’ve shown we can offer sothing worth your ti... shall we begin the ga?"

The Gambler stared at the glowing orb for a few more seconds before a wide, greedy grin spread across his face.

After taking a mont to explain the rules to the ga to them he spoke again.

"Alright then," he said, clapping his hands together. "You’ve got my full attention. Let’s play."

He tapped the table once, and the erald barrier fully reactivated around them.

"You can handle this right?" Clara asked looking at Evelyn who simply rolled her eyes playfully.

"Of course," she said as the cards appeared on the table.
