Chapter 469: Preparations - Sches, Second Ancestor
Ater another month of spending ti with his family, everyone had left the inner verse going out into True Reality.
Ash had given them all freedom to do as they please, but he told them to all be present at the Grand ball which was only four months away now.
However, it was not just that... he inford them of the bubbling sches that Ancestor Seeker had incoming, also informing them on the final two champions.
Other than that, he himself, set out alone, just him and his spirits. There were so preparations he wanted to make and sothings to see.
----
Ash sat on a massive tree branch overlooking a notable place in True Reality.
It was the domain of the second Ancestor — Ancestor Sealing.
The realm stretched out beneath him like an endless fortress of dark stone and towering spires that rose so high they seed to pierce the very fabric of the sky.
The architecture was grand and ancient — it had colossal halls carved from black marble veined with white, vast dos supported by pillars thicker than mountains, and walls covered in intricate, glowing runes that pulsed nonstop.
The entire domain was absurd in scale, stretching across horizons that no mortal eye could fully comprehend, with structures so imnse that entire cities could fit inside a single courtyard.
Ash sat with his one leg propped up and the other stretched out. His back was against the massive tree as he closed the Codex.
He had been reading over a few things that had been updated within the Novel.
Elysia floated beside his right shoulder, Creara on his left, and Unara perched atop his head like a small crimson crown.
"So, Lord Alchemy is still scheming huh?" Creara said as she shook her head.
"At that Pri Devourer..." Unara said, "To think that influence nonsense brought him back to life."
"Well, they will surely die this ti." Elysia said causing Ash to chuckle.
According to the new information Ash had read, at this very mont, Lord Alchemy and Pri Devourer were leaving the Devouring Domain, with this place being their destination.
Not just that, Ash had been in True Reality long enough to attain so information about the plane itself. Unlike the other tis, he could not simply know all the history, because Elysia herself couldn’t find the full core.
Which they planned to handle at a later date, but in this mont five light years away....
Lord Alchemy and the Pri Devourer both appeared outside the fortress.
The mont they did, Ash said, "Bingo."
He stood up, ready to cloak himself with his decree, and trailed after them.
Normally, Ash would have just taken them out without giving any plot a chance to brew. But this ti was different... it felt like the first step in his plan to truly break free.
As ntioned, he had read his novel until it was etched into his very being.
One thing he realized about his journey was how often he rushed through everything without thinking.
He didn’t plan to slow down exactly, but he decided to do the opposite of what his instincts told him at first.
So, as much as he wanted to simply blink the two out of existence, he forced himself to dismantle their sche completely rather than just destroy it.
-----
The two ancient beings walked side by side toward the grand entrance of Ancestor Sealing’s domain.
The Lord of Alchemy, his long white beard flowing and ancient eyes gleaming, spoke first in a low, deliberate tone.
"You know... we can’t just kill this brat outright," he said. "We have no idea how Ancestor Seeker might react if her Champion suddenly drops dead."
The Pri Devourer’s ever-shifting form rippled, his deep, grinding voice rumbling.
"Tsk, maybe she wouldn’t care at all," he said. "She keeps throwing him into endless fire, after all."
Lord Alchemy rolled his eyes. "Who can really understand what that woman is thinking?" he said. "Maybe it’s all just a front, and those are chances I’m not willing to take. That’s why we’re here—to seal him."
The Pri Devourer’s eyes narrowed as he frowned slightly.
"Fine... But after he’s sealed, I’m torturing the bitch that killed !"
In that mont, the air around them turned icy, as if death itself lood overhead.
’Master! Don’t!’ Elysia cried out.
Ash had been walking right behind them, and overhearing what this fool planned for Sylvie almost got him killed.
Still, it was another mont where he decided against acting on his first instinct.
’Oh, you bastards, you’ll die two slow, agonizing deaths,’ he thought as he watched their backs.
This wasn’t about turning Ash into a different person—no, he wasn’t about to beco so saint who spared his enemies.
Anyone who thought ill of him or crossed the line would still et the sa fate.
If not sothing even more grueso...
----
They kept walking, slipping past the massive gates without a hint of resistance.
Inside, the fortress unfolded into a maze of soaring halls and locked chambers.
At its heart sat Ancestor Sealing, an elderly man with a long brown beard and robes the color of midnight.
Around him drifted tiny sealed realities, shimring orbs that held entire collapsed worlds, each bound by layers of unyielding runes.
The two visitors halted before him. The Lord of Alchemy gave a small, respectful bow.
"Ancestor Sealing," he began, keeping his tone asured. "It’s been so ti."
The old man inclined his head slightly, his voice calm and unhurried.
"Lord of Alchemy....Pri Devourer." He said examining the two figures before him.
"To what do I owe this visit?"
The Lord of Alchemy exchanged a quick glance with his companion before continuing.
"We’ve co with troubling news." He begin before continuing.
"A being nad Ash Originat has appeared in Reality Nine recently. From destroying the remaining Mana Stone generators, to taking claim as a top faction in Reality. He’s moving too rashly, because of his backing with Ancestor Seeker."
Ancestor Sealing’s ancient eyes narrowed slightly as he studied the two of them.
He didn’t speak right away.
Truthfully, he knew all along just what had been going on outside. Even though he wasn’t present in the Academy, he was also had a champion, and a sect leader was just his place holder.
And his Champion....
’Male, huh?’ Ash said internally as he both was watching the scene and reading the words as they etched themselves into the Codex.
’So, he’s being the final champion... or was at least. It seems like there is soone even bigger behind that guy.’ He mused as Ancestor Sealings voice sounded again.
After a long, thoughtful pause, the elder finally spoke.
"I can... indeed see the danger." He said, "But sealing a being of his caliber cos at a cost. The price will be half of your influence over your respective domains."
The Lord of Alchemy and the Pri Devourer exchanged a brief glance. Such a thing was a steep price, as their Influence played a major role in their power.
However, it was sothing that could always be recreated. So, in that mont...
The Lord of Alchemy gave a single, firm nod.
"Agreed."
Ancestor Sealing regarded them for a mont longer before speaking again.
"Good," he said. "You two may return now. Use this token to contact
once you’re ready."
They bowed and left, though Ash lingered a mont longer to watch Ancestor Sealing.
