Chapter 408: The Goddess of Fatality - Over Ten Millenia (5)

Within the Sacred Dinsion, inside a golden universe bathed in soft eternal light...

Celeste stood on a floating platform, overlooking a vast city of silver spires and gardens that shimred with star flecks — the heart of the Astral Human Clan’s new ho.

She had co to check on them, as she did every now and then. And even though, there was no threat to them... she was technically still their ancestor after all.

Mika Astral, the Matriarch, stood before her with graceful poise.

Her long silver hair flowed behind her, and her eyes held the quiet wisdom of soone who had guided her people through countless trials.

Beside her stood Elias, the Heir—tall, with sharp features and the sa striking silver hair.

Celeste’s re presence seed to bring a sense of calm to the atmosphere around them, and upon seeing them, she could not help but smile.

There was sothing about these two in particular, though she could not fully explain why—though, in truth, she knew the reason.

They never ceased in their relentless pursuit of strength and self-improvent.

While everyone within Ash’s verse naturally grew stronger over ti, these two sought more than the inevitable; they aspired to surpass every limit set before them.

Mika bowed deeply, her voice warm and filled with respect.

"Ancestor... it is always an honor to see you return. The clan has grown impossibly over the last millennia..."

Elias bowed in turn, his gaze steady with a quiet yet unwavering resolve.

"Aunt... this may seem sowhat out of order, but..."

He paused briefly before pressing on.

"...we want to ask for more. We wish to beco like you," he said.

"This place... it has given us stability beyond anything we imagined. But my mother and I want to stand at your side in truth—to be of real use, not just another branch you must keep watch over."

Mika nodded, her expression earnest.

"We know it is a great request.... But the clan is stable. They no longer need constant guidance and protection. If we beco like you... we can contribute more directly... to you and even him."

Celeste regarded them both in silence for a mont, her gentle eyes studying their resolve.

’Tch, of course it’s him.’ She thought briefly but externally she smiled — though it was soft... she was proud.

"Hmm I don’t see a problem with that," she said quietly. "However, don’t think things will continue to be so simple."

She paused, then continued gently.

"Aside from the change of becoming an Unus, this verse will soon beco chaotic."

Though for the past five hundred years, Ash had been pleasing his won. Each of them that were still waiting knew one thing.

Soon, peace in this verse would cease.

As it was never ant to be purely peaceful, aside from the Havens the verse was ant for growth through power.

Mika and Elias both straightened, as those words piqued their interest.

"What do you an?" Mika questioned.

It must be noted that even still to this day, Ash barred any interaction from the original inhabitants of his verse.

So much so, that those in the Haven or from the outside didn’t even know of the existence of his multiverse.

They could only see what he allowed.

"In a little over nine thousand years, Ash plans to remove the curtains." She said vaguely, before continuing.

"However, I will grant your request. In a few years... I will speak with Ash, so prepare yourselves in 1,500 years..."

Both Mika and Elias bowed deeply, gratitude clear on their faces.

"Thank you, Ancestor," they said in unison.

Celeste smiled, "For now... continue as you are. And speak nothing of the ntioning of nine thousand years."

With that, she stepped back.

"It’s ti for

to go, I have a few things to complete. Rember, in 1,500 years be in the Haven."

Mika and Elias watched as Celeste vanished.

Once she was gone, Elias let out a slow breath.

"She said yes..."

Mika smiled, though her eyes were serious.

"She did. But... we must be sure to prove our worth."

-----

Celeste reappeared in a quiet, empty expanse within her universe.

She sat down cross-legged as she activated her Divinity.

As the Goddess of Fatality, she was essentially the endpoint of all things Fate, Destiny, Karma, and so on. Which ant her creation for the verse would also revolve around those things.

"Everything should flow together properly..." she muttered.

Over the ti she spent on her journey, she did nothing but study various threads of ’stories’. She wanted to see how one’s fate, destiny, and karma all connected.

Although she knew how it worked normally, each and every being was unique.

Take Ash for example — he was soone she could never pinpoint.

And if this verse sought to be one that was overpowered but structured, she thought it would be best to make it so no being would exist outside of such things.

But not entirely — as she would leave it up to them to step outside of such confinent through their own power.

Which ant her creations needed to be sowhat interactable.

She began to move her hands rapidly as she began to weave her constructs into reality.

In just a month, three constructs began to take shape.

"The first... will be called the River of Fate." She muttered as; a vast, luminous river materialized in the void before her.

Its waters shimred with every color of destiny, flowing in an endless, gentle current that looped back upon itself in perfect cycles.

And as it began to solidify, she activated a decree.

|Stellar Decree - Inevitable Current|

"All beings within this verse shall exist within the flow of Fate, Destiny, and Karma. Their paths shall be difficult to deviate from, their threads tightly bound... yet never truly unbreakable."

The mont her words were spoken, the river solidified and instantly linked to the Akashic Records.

Its presence then flowed through the entire verse, becoming an unseen current guiding every being without ever taking away their free will.

She carried on as a whole year slipped by in an instant.

"Next, The Grand Loom... the first step to breaking the shackles of fate," she said, and in the next breath, it appeared before her—unlike the River of Fate, this was more tangible.

It was a vast loom of gold and white threads, drifting for now within the fabric of the Verse alongside the Akashic Records.

Here, countless strands of fate, destiny, and karma were spun, asured, and woven into the tapestry of reality.

|Celestial Decree - The Loom|

"This place is open only to those deeply in tune with fate, karma, destiny, and similar forces at the highest level. Here, the great tapestry is preserved... and the worthy may catch a glimpse or even touch the threads of their own story."

As she finished, a thought crossed her mind before she spoke again.

"Hm, shouldn’t we have progression for certain aspects?"

The idea stemd from her last statent, as Ash’s verse currently lacked any progression for conceptual elents.

Decrees, which were laws, weren’t sothing that needed to be comprehended.

Each person would have three from each category: Celestial, Stellar, and Divine.

However, if one gained access to her constructs, a cultivator’s comprehension would need to be monitored.

"I’ll just tell husband about it when he cos," she muttered, shaking off the thought as she returned to work.

After another year, she had completed the final construct—the scales of judgnt.

In her vision, three constructs now stood before her, both conceptual and tangible.

The river flowed below, the loom rested in the middle, and at the highest point floated a platform of pure white marble.

Upon it stood massive golden scales, perfectly balanced, ready to weigh the final and irreversible judgnt of any soul.

This was the endpoint of all things... outside of the Akashic Records itself.

Celeste spoke softly using another Decree.

"Here, the final decision is made—what stays, what ends, and what begins anew. There’s no appeal, no rcy beyond what the scales judge as fair."

And with that... the three constructs settled into place — interconnected, harmonious, and ready to serve as the backbone of fate within Pantheos.
