Chapter 238: And Thus, it Began - Essence Harmony
The Harmonious Revelation carried on, however at a much slower pace than the first event. The first one, it was a bit shorter as the mories were sothing that were easily displayed.
The clarity that ca from it wasn’t as profound either.
This ti it was a full year before everyone finished.
It took so long because of the mix of intricate masterpieces.
One prodigy wove a living tapestry of conceptual threads that attempted to recreate an entire cycle of cosmic rebirth.
Another forged a miniature realm of pure strategy, floating chess-like pieces of essence that played out infinite wars in silent, calculated grace.
A third wove a symphony of void lodies that echoed in the participants’ souls, each note shaping vivid illusions of personal journeys unfolding in smooth, harmonious waves—and with the arrival of more clans, scions, and leaders, their presence deepened the aura, thickening the hall’s atmosphere like storm clouds gathering overhead.
It was also important to note that everyone had stopped bothering Ash... well it was less of bothering and more like avoided—the floating prodigies giving his group a wide berth.
His art was far from kind to those without direct ssages; all they saw were baffling visions—the do flickering with paradoxes that warped the mind.
Fleeting scenes of creation’s birth erupting into endless finales, civilizations flourishing only to crumble under unseen forces, prosperity and ruin tangled in loops beyond reason.
They caught the slightest glimpse of the walking paradox himself—images that left a lingering sense of unease.
Still, it didn’t stop any plans already in motion. If anything, it made the wary even warier and the schers all the more resolved.
And while Ash, Aurelia, and Elara, along with the other participants, made their way toward the third event, Essence Harmony, the hall’s pathways rippled open in gentle waves of light, with zafus drifting in calm streams toward newly revealed portals.
The Eternal Spire it had beco more intense... for the past year, Seraphiel and Layla had been lost in their own worlds
Ash’s ssage to them weren’t re visions nor were it the case for anyone present at the ti.
His art felt alive—real, yet sohow not.
The kisses, the touches, and everything in between weren’t just witnessed; they were lived, leaving them shaken to their core and stirring an affection that never stopped growing, no matter who it was for.
It skyrocketed—Layla’s had already reached its peak, while Seraphiel found herself breaking past eighty percent.
----
"Seraphiel, are you okay?" spoke a beauty whose allure and power matched Seraphiel’s own.
Her hair flowed like rivers of starlit green, and her eyes resembled ancient groves—deep erald leaves encircled in silver.
They were no ordinary eyes, but a gift connected to her Progenitor’s artifact, allowing her to see beyond appearances into the raw potential of what soone could beco.
Her pale skin glowed softly, and an aura of perpetual vitality surrounded her, leaving illusory vines and blossoms drifting in her wake.
She was Aeloris Bloom, the Progenitor of the Elves, a true Progenitor.
Seraphiel turned at an unhurried pace, the flas around her softening to thoughtful embers as her mismatched eyes t Aeloris’s forest-deep gaze across the wide observation dais, where holographic images of the participants below shimred in quiet beauty.
"I’m fine...," Seraphiel replied simply. It hadn’t been long since Aeloris arrived in fact she’d only arrived six months ago.
She was one of the few progenitors who had been around since the very beginning, which made her a close friend of Seraphiel.
Since arriving, she hadn’t really bothered anyone, just watching with a calm, steady gaze.
To her, observing people always felt like taking so kind of asure.
Still, in the short ti she’d been here, she’d already seen so pretty interesting things.
Aeloris nodded, illusory blossoms blooming softly around her feet as she stepped closer, vines trailing like gentle questions.
"The past half year has been... eye-opening. So many unique masterpieces... Yet the biggest mystery is this strange progenitor coddling among the participants. And you... your flas... his flas..."
She didn’t need to spell out her insinuations—it wasn’t that she thought Seraphiel was sleeping around, but rather the opposite.
She believed he was a creation of the Records... because only such a being could make this possible.
Seraphiel’s wings shifted slightly, the flas of rebirth flickering with an unusual gentleness.
"He’s not so product. He’s a true progenitor, like us. I’m not sure how or when... but he is."
Aeloris brow arched faintly, eyes reflecting Seraphiel’s vast potential in quiet greens.
"Interesting... there’s sothing else about this boy, you feel it too, right? That monster... the oldest foe of that so-called progenitor."
Seraphiel’s eyes narrowed at the words.
She couldn’t deny that ever since eting Ash, she’d been fixated on the fact he was a pure phoenix, yet sothing about him was entirely different.
But as Aeloris spoke, and she tuned into Ash’s aura, her heart skipped a beat.
"Im...possible. Endings?" she muttered, pulse quickening.
It was clear these beings knew of the Dragon of Absolute Endings—a being who would have given them real trouble, had they not chosen to steer clear.
"Exactly... and on my way here, I picked up faint signs—small traces of chaos. Maybe the imposter is finally out of seclusion after all this ti."
[A/N: Fyi, the Nexus of Concepts is unknown by anyone not a Conceptual existence... So, they just think he’s been in seclusion since his last appearance.]
Seraphiel’s flas flared wildly before dying down as she gripped the armrest of her throne.
She knew they would cross paths again soday, but she had no intention of simply giving up Aurelia. Still, she needed more ti—last ti, the Dragon of Chaos had used sothing that completely tipped the fight in his favor.
"Don’t worry... this ti I’ll be here if he dares step out of line," Aeloris said, shifting their gaze back below.
Aside from the two, the other leaders and progenitors were chatting, passing the ti until the next event began—so more eagerly than others.
After a few hours of waiting, Absence appeared before all the participants. Taking the form of a Celestial, he too was preparing as his own mont approached.
"Welco to Essence Harmony—the third revelation. The event is simple: you will each create a beverage, pill, or elixir infused with the essence of your strongest concept or power. May we all grow stronger," he declared in flawless replication before vanishing.
