Zhao Yun suddenly turned to Ace, her eyes gleaming with sothing he couldn't explain.

"Master Xiao…"

Ace shot up from his seat as if struck by lightning. "No. Whatever you're thinking—no. I'm not taking you in as a disciple," he declared, clearing his throat. "Ahem. Just get going already."

To smooth things over, he quickly added, "I'll treat you to a majestic spirit olet and an entire Spirit Chicken once the task is done."

Zhao Yun's face instantly brightened. "Deal!" she said without hesitation.

Without wasting another second, she summoned her bond beast—a magnificent white tiger with sleek fur and piercing blue eyes. In one swift motion, she hoisted Shan Yifeng onto its back.

Before Ace could even blink, the tiger leaped forward, and the two disappeared into the distance, leaving behind only a gust of wind and a fading trail of dust.

Ace exhaled, rubbing his temples. "Damn, she really is a Gold Rank…"

Taking a deep breath, he finally turned his attention to the thing he had been looking forward to all day—his beloved system.

.....

.....

Ace stepped into the system space, only to co to an abrupt halt.

What the hell is going on?!

Before him stretched a breathtaking paradise—a far cry from the rigid, ga-like fields he had grown used to.

A crystal-clear river andered through lush greenery, reflecting the golden light of the setting sun.

The farmland, once simple and chanical, now looked like a dreamscape, each plot adorned with intricate decorations.

His eyes darted around, searching for sothing—or rather, soone.

The Spirit Bot?

Where was that clunky, tallic hunk of iron?

Instead, standing gracefully in the middle of the field was a stunning young woman.

Dressed in pristine farming attire, she exuded an almost ethereal charm.

The soft breeze played with her hair, her delicate hands brushing against the ripe crops. She was beautiful—so much so that for a fleeting mont, his little brother seed to be asking to be let loose.

But sothing about her felt... off.

And then it hit him.

This is the Spirit Bot?!

His muscles tensed, but as he forced himself to recall his system's earlier notifications, a strange sense of calm settled down his little brother.

Right—his Spirit Bot had leveled up.

Still, this was too much of a transformation.

Before he could voice his confusion, the girl turned to him, her bright eyes filled with excitent.

"Master, I got upgraded!" she announced proudly, beaming. "Look! Even the farmlands got decorations!"

Ace stared at her, then at the vibrant fields, then back at her again.

What. The. Hell.

"Why are you wasting resources?" she demanded, her voice laced with frustration.

Ace blinked. "What do you an wasting? Isn't this a useful purchase?"

She groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "You don't even have a single beast. And on top of that, you don't even know which ingredients are needed to make proper feed for each rank!"

Ace coughed awkwardly, averting his gaze. "Well… that's why I have you, isn't it?"

The Spirit Bot froze for a mont, seemingly at a loss for words. Then, she mumbled under her breath, her tone almost too soft to catch.

"...By the way, I can leave the system space now."

Ace stiffened.

"What?"

"I said I can leave the system space now. Can I?" The Spirit Bot huffed, her tone a mix of excitent and irritation.

Ace frowned, watching her shift from foot to foot like an impatient child. He couldn't tell if she was annoyed or thrilled—or maybe both.

Still, taking her outside wouldn't hurt, right?

"But what about the farm?" he questioned, crossing his arms. "I just got an upgrade—the new plots of land, the Spirit Mango trees, Spirit Rice…"

"Atleast give a vacation!" she pleaded, her expression instantly turning pitiful, her bright eyes shimring with an almost tearful glimr.

Ace groaned, rubbing his face. "Ugh. Fine, fine. But how long are we talking?"

"One day," she answered eagerly. "I can't stay outside for more than that. For now."

Ace blinked. Oh. It's just one day? Why didn't you say so! I thought atleast a month!

"Alright," he relented.

"Plant the extra plots with Spirit Mango and Spirit Rice first. Then I'll take you out."

"You said it, Master!" she cheered, vanishing in an instant.

Ace watched as she dashed across the farm, her movents fluid and practiced. A glowing portal materialized beside her, and she reached in, grabbing seeds one after another.

As she worked, Ace couldn't help but notice his gold credits plumting.

10,000 GC... 7,500 GC... 5,000 GC...

He winced.

When she finally finished, she dusted off her hands with a satisfied grin. anwhile, Ace stared blankly at the final number flashing on his interface.

"...hmm I guess we can go out now."

Along with the Spirit Bot, Ace summoned a Level 2 Spirit Chicken from the system space.

The mont they stepped outside, the Spirit Bot froze, her eyes widening in awe. She took in the lush green mountains, the way the morning sunlight spilled over the house, casting a golden glow over everything.

"Beautiful," she breathed, the word slipping from her lips as she stood srized by the sight.
