“Ah, Naofumi-chan. Are your wounds healed already?”
I left today’s work to Trash, and went to rest early due to my recent injuries. But as I was back to my place, Sadina appeared from the ocean.

Sadina: “So the only option for Naofumi-chan is to return.”
Naofumi: “Yeah. But if I left sothing unfinished, it would leave a bad taste in my mouth.”
Raphtalia: “I…”
Raphtalia puts her hand on her chest, and takes a step forward.
Raphtalia: “I believe that I want to stay by Naofumi-sama’s side for however long I can.”

Raphtalia musters her courage, and answers.
Naofumi: “Understood.”
Raphtalia: “Thank you.”
Naofumi: “Then you can’t really say anything against my outing with Sadina.”
Raphtalia: “…?”
Naofumi: “I an, isn’t that right? What’s the legal age in this world?”
Raphtalia: “What?”
Naofumi: “Sadina, do you know?”
Sadina: “As soon as your parents or guardians recognize you as an adult, you will be treated as such. It also varies by the country, but Naofumi-chan’s the lord here. What do you want to do with the village’s law?”
Naofumi: “I banned love, but I’ll loosen the regulations a bit.”
Sadina: “Ara, how nice.”

But even though I said such things to Raphtalia, I don’t think she’s enjoying it.

It’s not as if I don’t have any attachnt, but my will to return is strong.
If Raphtalia were to stay by my side, I would be able to return to my world without hesitation.
Raphtalia: “Yes, I’ve a good understanding of the extent of Naofumi-sama’s resolve.”
Naofumi: “And so, I need to think of all the ones in the village we’ll leave behind. What I have to do, you understand right? Though this ti, it was a joke.”

I drive Sadina away by flicking my hand, and ask Raphtalia once more.

Naofumi: “Got it.”
Raphtalia prepares herself, and I go to get Imya.
We walk to the small boat anchored at the coast.
Raph-chan: “Rafu~?”
I continue thinking as I rub Raph-chan.
He can change shape to be identical to Raphtalia, right?
In the future, will I be doing various indecent things with Raphtalia?
What should I do if she tells I’m no good at it? I pause my hand on Raph-chan’s head.

Normally, I would have ignored this, but this might be the result of the other ’s research.

Imya: “Y-yes!”
Imya responds twice to my question, and nods. She begins casting magic.

Imya: “Then I’ll be going.”
She starts digging out the ground.
Imya: “The more magic I put in, the easier it is to dig.”

As expected, you should call a specialist for a special job. I was right to ask a mole-like Demi-Human
After a bit of digging, Imya popped out of the hole.

Naofumi: “Can you bring it up?”
Imya: “It’s too big… and it seems its of plant origin, so it’s already decaying.”
Naofumi: “I see.”
So it was made of Bioplant.
Do we have any hints as to its use?
Imya: “Ah, but I picked up the magical device that seed to be its core.”
Imya hands a fragnt of a stone.
This is… part of a stone tablet, right?
I rember the one Rat tapped on.
Naofumi: “Thanks.”
I praise Imya as she gets out of the hole, and brushes the dirt off of her body. Imya scratches her head in embarrassnt.
Imya: “No, it wasn’t much.”
Naofumi: “Imya, is there anyone you like?”
Imya: “Eh? N-no…”
Naofumi: “I see.”
I’ll have to circle the village, and ask slowly.
Raph-chan: “Ta~li~?”
Naofumi: “So where did you co from?”
I ask Raph-chan once more.
… He’s pointing to the hole. But it was quite obvious.
Naofumi: “I guess this is all we’ll find out today.”
In a few days, we’ll be fighting.
This may be a… waste of ti, but I’ll have Rat investigate it. We may find sothing useful.
