As she descended the stairs, Wen Xian had finished packing her bags and carried her trolley case outside.
Lu Xiao was waiting at the door, and without a word, he took the case from her hands and walked ahead alone.
The building was all stairs, and he carried her case downstairs with taut arms.

His eyebrows furrowed slightly, he glanced at his watch, and when he spoke again, he asked, “Where are you planning on going? I need to join the team for a mission soon.”
That was the truth.
Wen Xian humd, her mind quickly processing: “I was thinking of visiting Zaling Lake and Eling Lake, I’ve heard those are where the Yellow River originates, and it’s incredibly beautiful.”

Wen Xian coughed twice, and when she looked up again, she asked very seriously, “How so, is it not on the way for you? Where are you planning to go?”
Lu Xiao: “It’s on the way.”
Just so happened to be in the sa direction.
By now, Grandma and Old Li had co out, along with the little wolf dog wagging its tail.

“Exactly, don’t just focus on your job all day and night, turning black and white upside down; co back and see us more!”
They had agreed not to send her off, but in the end, they couldn’t help but co out to see her off.
Wen Xian always struggled with this kind of scene. Not because it happened often, but quite the opposite—it hardly ever occured! That’s why the feeling of genuine care from others made her feel… remarkably uncomfortable.

She waved her hand: “I know, Grandma, you all go back and rest. And Old Li, I’ll mail you so foreign hair loss treatnt. Look at the state of your head; it’s so bald that if you go outside, the wind will blow away what little hair you have left!”
At her words, Old Li suddenly chuckled, “You little wretch—”
Grandma interrupted him, holding back laughter as she said to her, “Go on now, be safe on the road! And Captain Lu, you’re also leaving, so give her a lift!”
After saying this, they turned and looked back every few steps as they walked away.
Now, only the two of them were left.
