Chapter 11: Suppressing the Righteous Path! Li Qiyè Strikes!

“That person… have I t them before?” Li Yuanba hovered in the air, staring at the pale hand protruding from the heavens, murmuring to himself. The hand exuded an intense familiarity, as if its owner were an old friend. But the sensation was fleeting. A surging power within him demanded focus, pulling him into a state of enlightennt. Sitting cross-legged midair, enveloped in faint light, he beca inscrutable to onlookers.

In the Demon-Sealing Tower, Li Qiyè gazed at Li Yuanba’s ditating form, a faint smile on his lips. “Uncle, we didn’t just et—we shared seven years. Without you, I wouldn’t be here today.” In the Prince of Qin’s mansion, Li Qiyè often visited Li Yuanba, finding him unlike other uncles. Labelled a madman, Li Yuanba offered Li Qiyè a rare sense of safety, repelling ill-intentioned foes.

In lucid monts, Li Yuanba taught Li Qiyè to harness his celestial star power, laying the foundation for his cultivation. That sliver of inner strength sustained Li Qiyè through his first night in the Demon-Sealing Tower, sparing him from freezing or starving. From that night, the legend of the Evil Sword Immortal was born.

Now transford, Li Qiyè’s strength, while not yet invincible, surpassed mortal understanding of cultivation. The hand’s earlier act was a gift to Li Yuanba—a chance for enlightennt. How far Li Yuanba could progress depended on his own destiny.

The Heavenly Demon Emperor stepped forward, bowing. “Master, I sense the Shu Mountain Five Elders approaching Hui Province…” “The Five Elders, huh?” Li Qiyè mused.

…………………………………………………………………………….

In Hui Province, Li Qiyè’s initial strike repelled thousands of Shu Mountain disciples, erecting a dark barrier around the demonic array, isolating it from interference. The disciples watched anxiously, powerless after narrowly escaping death. Another assault would be suicidal.

“Look! The Elders are here!” a disciple shouted. Five figures with profound auras descended—Qingwei, Canggu, Jingming, Youxuan, and Heyang—the Shu Mountain Five Elders, all present. Sect Leader Qingwei imdiately channelled inner energy to stabilise Xu Changqing’s injuries. Revived, Xu gripped his Jianyan Sword. “Sect Leader, let join you to vanquish demons!” Qingwei hesitated but nodded—every ounce of strength was vital against the array.

The Elders’ arrival bolstered morale. Distant factions jubilated. A Chunyang disciple exclaid, “The Five Elders are titans of the righteous path, their power unfathomable. What a privilege to witness them!” The Moon-Worshipping Sect Leader noted, “All five acting together? A first in a century.” A Buddhist bodhisattva intoned, “Amitabha, can Shu Mountain challenge that hand?”

In the Mysterious chanism Pavilion, Li Shimin frowned at the star chart. Zhangsun Wuji, the Star of Heavenly Kui, reassured, “Your Majesty, the Five Elders are enlightened masters of profound skill. Their intervention promises victory!” Li Shimin remained tense, asking, “Fuji, have Li Jing and Yuchi Jingde set out?” “They’ve reached Hui Province, Your Majesty,” Zhangsun replied. Li Shimin nodded, unconvinced even the Elders could prevail, especially with Li Yuanba inactive since the hand’s appearance. Li Jing, of the Kang Gold Dragon Constellation, and Yuchi Jingde, of the Di Earth Badger Constellation, were near Li Yuanba’s calibre. Their combined strength might counter the hand.

In Hui Province, black mist and demonic aura swirled, the pale hand looming oppressively. A gust announced the arrival of two imperial forces—Generals Li Jing and Yuchi Jingde. “Elders of Shu Mountain, His Majesty sent us to assist!” Li Jing saluted the venerable masters. Qingwei stroked his beard, smiling. “Be cautious, Generals.” Eight titans—Shu Mountain’s six and the two generals—advanced toward the demonic domain. Observers, including Li Shimin, watched with bated breath. The eight soared, unleashing a radiant barrage against the dark barrier. A tiny crack appeared.

“There’s a chance!”

“Elders, mighty!”

“Generals, invincible!”

Excitent surged among onlookers and factions. Li Shimin’s eyes brightened. In the Demon-Sealing Tower, Li Qiyè, monitoring the scene, frowned at the crack. “The Five Elders live up to their na.” Their skill had breached the barrier, but victory was far from assured.

Li Qiyè clenched his fist as arcane incantations coiled around his arm. A tyrannical wave of evil aura erupted from his fingertips. Whoosh! The dark energy blasted downward from the heavens. The eight of them sensed it, looking up in horror. “Beware!” They retreated, unleashing their strongest techniques without hesitation. Eight distinct attacks rged, clashing with the black evil aura. The collision, surprisingly, lacked cataclysmic force. The forces were locked in a stalemate.

Li Qiyè’s brow furrowed, pouring more evil aura downward. The eight gritted their teeth, resisting with all their might. Evil and righteous energies swirled, their clash radiating across Hui Province. Winds roared, sword auras danced, and the sky split—black above, white below. Ultimately, the black realm prevailed, its heavy, dark force pressing toward the earth.
