Andria’s POV

"I don’t know what the outco of tonight is going to be, but I hope to be happy even if I lose," Allison muttered as Becca helped her with her zip.

"Whether Liara wins it, which is likely to happen because she is naturally royalty, and the wolves will easily fall to her side. Just make sure to have fun on that stage," I encouraged her.

"I think it’s the nerves. I’ve not tried this kind of thing before, and I wasn’t even planning to."

"But you finally decided to, and you seed excited to. Don’t feel down now, it’s a beautiful thing to participate, you mustn’t win, just put in the work," Becca added.

"What would I have done without you both," she wheened.

"Awwn, nothing," I replied, winking at her. "Alright, I’m going to get dressed, it’s almost ti."

"Yeah, too," Becca said

We went into the room almost at the sa ti. I put on the dress, showed and took the purse.

I already had my makeup done, so it was easy for to be done before Becca.

"You see, I told you to do your makeup first, and what did you say?" I reminded her.

"Well, I’m not used to doing my makeup first. I feel like it’s going to stain my dress," she replied.

"That’s not true. It will stain your dress if you put it on before doing your makeup," I argued.

"It doesn’t work that way for ," Becca argued and just then the powder she was holding sared the top part of her gown.

I fought back a chuckle. "You should have at least put on an apron to prevent that," I said, walking straight to the door.

Becca rolled her eyes at and started dusting her dress, sighing and hissing at the sa ti.

I closed the door behind , allowing her sort her ss. Because if I stayed there, I would keep teasing her and pissing her off.

"The purse suits the red dress. You made a beautiful combination," Allison praised.

"Thank you," I replied, blushing.

"You look like you should be contesting too, in fact, going ho with the crown," she added.

"Stop exaggerating. Today is your day, just go do your best," I deflected.

"You are just deflecting, Ari. You look like a princess," she said, her eyes smiling in admiration.

"Ok, you are beginning to make feel uncomfortable. I might just pull off my dress," I joked, turning as if I was heading to my room to do the change.

"You would do no such thing," Allison said, raising her voice slightly.

"I was joking, hey...calm down," I laughed.

The expression on Allison’s face was priceless. "Becca is taking too long," she muttered under her breath.

"She had to do her makeup after she dressed up, along the line, the makeup sared her dress, so she had to do sothing about it," I narrated, raising an eyebrow.

"You left her," she asked, looking at with a confused expression.

"Yes, I did, because she refused to take my advice of doing the makeup before dressing up," I replied, taking a seat on the sofa. "She can handle herself; leave her alone."

"Ok. Do you think she is pissed?" Allison asked, looking very worried.

"If you are too bothered, I can check in on her. Relax, you don’t have to stress yourself before the event. Do you have your speech ready?"

"Yes, I’m very prepared," Allison replied, her hands shaking slightly by her side.

"You are nervous; take so ti to cool off. I’ll go check on Becca," I told her before heading back to the room.

I opened the door, and Becca had already pulled off her dress and was doing her makeup.

"What happened?" I asked sarcastically, a chuckle escaping my lips.

"If you are here to laugh at , you should leave," Becca replied.

"Hey, it’s not that deep. I just ca to check up on you, darling," I said in a calm tone, walking towards her.

She turned to look at , studying my expression to be sure I wasn’t mocking her. I tried so hard not to laugh because what she was doing at that mont was amusing.

"I’m so happy I ca with two outfits. I wonder what I could have done," she lanted.

"You couldn’t clean off the stain?" I asked, surprised.

"The more I cleaned, the worse it looked. So I decided to wear another," she complained.

"It’s ok. Just put on your dress already, we are already late, and Allison is beginning to get nervous," I gestured to her dress.

"How do I look?" She asked.

I studied her face and wiped off the excess blush on her cheeks, adjusting and blending the other parts.

"You are good to go. Don’t make sweat," I warned, turning towards the door.

I joined Allison in the sitting room, and she was checking her wristwatch from ti to ti.

Imdiately, she saw ; her eyes lit up.

"Is Becca ready?" She asked.

"You have to calm down a little. She is almost done," I replied.

A few minutes later, Becca arrived in her erald dress with gold designs, carrying a golden purse to match.

"You both have a touch of erald," Allison remarked.

"You too. Your heels are erald," Becca comnted.

"Let’s get going already. Shall we?" I announced, walking to the door.

Khalil was already standing behind it.

"When did you get here?" I asked, stunned as I opened the door.

"Not quite long ago. I was about to knock," he replied, smiling from ear to ear as soon as he laid his eyes on Allison.

Khalil was cold; he wasn’t one to smile, but anyti he laid his eyes on Allison, his expression softened.

"Becca, I guess the prince is already here to take his princess," I said, snatching Becca’s hand and walking away, leaving Allison and Khalil behind.

As we got close to our apartnt on our way to the prom hall, I saw Arlo.

He already saw us before we saw him, and he just stood there, waiting for us to get closer.

"You look so stunning," he said as soon as we got to him, tucking a strand of hair behind Becca’s ear. "I feel like kissing you right here and right now."

"Eww, get a room, you both," I said, walking out of them.
