Andria’s POV

Becca glared at Alexa hard for a while, and was about to say a word when Arlo cut in. "An underdog calling another fellow an underdog? Only you can tell exactly how they behave."

We hadn’t noticed when he stepped in and sat in front of us, opposite the drama queens.

I watched Becca recoil in her seat, and simply face off.

"Cat got your tongue, huh ...underdog," Alexa continued, ignoring Arlo’s statent.

But it seed as if she had just tuned out every noise in the bus.

"Call Becca that word one more ti, and you will know what I’m capable of," Arlo said, calmly and firmly.

Alexa’s face was stunned, Tricia’s too, but the most surprised was Liara. She hasn’t seen Arlo like this before.

Even I was surprised by Arlo’s new look; no wonder I couldn’t tell it was him when he ca in, until I heard his voice.

I knew he was fashionable, but he was, instead, very loud and weirdly descriptive in his outfit, making him appear like a drag queen all the ti with his exaggerated makeovers, earrings, and nails.

But today he had no nails on, cut his hair decently, no exaggerated makeup, and no drag-queen dress-up.

But his taste in fashion was still very unique and exquisite. This must be Becca’s doing.

"What happened to you, Arlo?" Liara asked. "I hardly knew it was you. What has Becca done to you?"

Alexa and Tricia giggled, pulling their hands to their mouths. "Did Becca just put you in her culture school, or did she just put out your fla, replacing it with this boring facade of masculinity?" Tricia mocked.

"It’s a waste of ti bantering words with silly wolves with low self-esteem looking for others to pick on. It’s quite a pity that Liara who was a bit decent had chosen to be part of the scoundrels," Arlo shot back.

"I’m very sure you aren’t referring to us as scoundrels. You are the one who needed civilization and taming, I’m glad that whatever her na is..." Tricia said, looking to Alexa for help.

"Becca...the underdog," Alexa chipped.

"Exactly, helped you with that," Tricia finished, and they all burst out laughing.

Arlo cracked his knuckles, but surprisingly, he didn’t bother moving. He just chuckled and faced off.

"Uhhh, he has nothing else to say? Did we cut deep? Mr outspoken knight in shining armor can’t defend his damsel in distress anymore?" Alexa teased.

"I suggest you and your friend Tricia shut up now," Sir Kaelric cut in. And I watched them shudder a bit then kept shit.

"It isn’t enough that you both are being detained for causing nuisance, you are trying to cause another nuisance again. Who would you bla this ti? Arlo?. You weak wolves with desire to trigger other wolves stronger than you are," Sir Kaelric scolded.

Every other student on the bus who was quiet during the back-and-forth altercation burst out laughing.

I chuckled slightly. Allison did too. But Becca looked unfazed.

" Enough, I didn’t say that to amuse all of you. If you all can’t get along in this business, then I suggest you all just keep quiet," Sir Kaelric shunned.

And the rose of laughter quietened.

"Becca, you don’t seem fine. Are you ok?" I asked.

"Where did your excitent go? I miss it," Allison teased, nudging Becca.

"Leave alone, Allison," Becca said, her face twisting into a half smile. "Ari, I’m fine."

"At least I made you smile," Allison said, smirking at her. "Now make that a wider smile. No one deserves to steal your joy..." then she bent down to whisper to Becca, "...not even your mate."

"Stop it, Allison," I said, knowing that Becca’s mate was a sensitive topic. anwhile, I never knew the reason for Becca’s fight with Arlo, but from the looks of it, Arlo’s looks have changed, and that could be part of their disagreent.

"It’s ok, Ari. I can take it from her. She is right. No one deserves to take away my happiness, no matter how close they think they are to ," Becca cut in softly, massaging my arms with her palm.

I never knew I had been so tense since Liara and her friends ca in, and since Arlo cut in, in fact, since the drama began, until Becca’s gentle palm touched my arm.

I felt my tense muscles relax under her touch. "Thanks, Becca, I didn’t know that I needed that."

"I noticed how tense you were. Your reactions and words gave it out," Becca replied, winking at .

"We are close to our first stop at the boutique, so get ready," Sir Kaelric announced. "You have barely one hour, thirty minutes to do all your shopping, and return to this bus.

If you exceed that ti, it will be assud you want to stay out of school without due process, and we will give you the punishnt you deserve. Do you understand?"

"Ye,s Sir," we chorused.

Barely five minutes later, the bus ca to a stop, and we stepped out, one after the other, one row at a ti.

We waited for Tricia, Alexa, and Liara to step out before we did. But they pretended to be busy zipping up their backs and arranging their belongings.

"I hope you three aren’t trying to stir up more trouble?" I asked.

"Just step out, so that we can get going. Ti isn’t waiting for anyone," Allison added.

But they pretended to be deaf.

Allison stood up and moved forward towards the exit, ignoring them. It was then that Alexa, who was seated near the aisle, stood up, and they both crashed into each other.

"Watch yourself, you blind," Alexa yelled.

"Can’t you wait for your turn?" Tricia added.

"It’s obvious that you two are just a baggage of embittered nuisance. Move, before you stain my dignity as you attempted once," Allison shot back.

I fought back a chuckle.

Alexa glared at her but moved anyway. Allison stepped back, locking eyes with Tricia, and with imdiate effect, Tricia moved towards the exit.

Liara then stood up slowly, walked towards Allison, stared at her from head to toe and then walked out.

Allison looked at us, "what’s the aning of that?"

We burst out laughing and headed towards the exit.

The rest of the students ca out as fast as they could, as our ti was already far spent, thanks to Liara and her newfound little minions.

"You have one hour twenty minutes left," Sir Kaelric announced.

"Damn those bitches to hell. How am I supposed to shop under this short amount of ti?" Allison whispered the complain.

"They are already damned," I replied, and Becca burst out laughing.

We hurried into the boutique. The boutique was spacious and exquisite, with different sections.

"Which section do we go to first?" Becca asked.

"Let’s go for the primary reason we are here. Let’s shop our prom dinner dress," I suggested.

"Yep," Allison concurred.

We moved to the dinner gown sections.

The rows and columns were filled with beautiful dresses from high-end collections, and Allison was going for the highest grade.

She picked a red, a silver, a nude, and a royal blue dress from the St. Ivey collection.

"You are getting a St.Ivey?" Becca gawked in awe.

"Yes, because I can afford it. Don’t act surprised, my father is the Alpha in charge of the stronghold of military, don’t forget that," Allison boasted.

"Of course, how can I forget so easily?" Becca replied.

I walked through the columns and rows, the price tags on each dress was incredibly outrageous. They were costly even for the cheapest collections.

"These gowns are too expensive for ," I muttered.

"Pick two, I’ll pay for those," Allison said, "you too, Becca."

"Don’t bother, Allison," I said. I’ve learned from past experiences that I hated taking pity on anyone.

"I’ll find sothing I can afford," I replied.

"Ok, if you say so," she replied, a slight disappointnt hidden in her tone.

"Becca, are you getting?" She asked, turning to Becca.

Becca nodded affirmatively and rushed down the column to pick her dresses.

Allison right now, just reminded of Liara. And that nostalgia wasn’t a feeling I liked. It’s probably how all royalties act, and I can’t really bla them for trying to be generous.

I searched until I found two beautiful dresses I could afford. One dress was beaded gold, and the other was glossy wine-red.

"Those gowns are gorgeous," Allison exclaid. "So pretty for their pretty low price."

"Yeah, they are. Sotis the prettiest things stay hidden amongst dust," I stated, giggling from ear to ear.

"I know, right?" Allison said, looking at with so much admiration.

"Now I see why my brother can’t let go of you, after he had previously promised to break the bond," she voiced.

"What?" I asked stunned.

"Sorry, I didn’t an to say that. It was in the past...he didn’t...he wanted to break the bond because he didn’t feel like you were qualified to be his Luna," she stuttered her defense.

I was dumbfounded at first, but I wasn’t so surprised. They were rude, arrogant fellows before now. I hated them even more than I hated Tracy and her bunch of wannabes.
