Andria’s POV
I reached for the doorknob, fingers trembling from a mix of anger and hurt. I still didn’t want to take in the excuses Sir Kaelric was making for Aven.
But right as the tal turned beneath my palm, sothing in snapped. I wasn’t going to just leave his office like that without telling him the piece of my mind.
However, I don’t know why I was fuming, probably it’s the feromones, or the fact that Aven and Sir Kaelric could hide such information from her, when I had already given them my body, considering they are my mates.
I snatched my hand back with a sharp inhale, spun around, and stord back toward him, each step fueled by pure volcanic fury.
Sir Kaelric’s brows lifted slowly, a low, rumbling laugh rolling from his chest.
"I knew it," he murmured. "You want more than I expected."
My breath stuttered at how close we suddenly were. We were one step, half a breath away from pressing together. The heat from his body radiated through him so that I could feel it through my body.
"Of course I want you," I snapped, voice shaking with more truth than sense, "and I hate you at the sa ti. You are infuriating, unbearably...unbearably..."
I jabbed a finger into his chest.
"...and I know everything you said is true, but I can’t stand that you picked Aven’s side against ," I said, hitting his chest softly with my hands.
His grin was slow, crooked and knowing.
"Hey," he said softly, tilting his head as if studying the sparks flying off my skin. "Calm down, feisty."
I glared harder, and he matched my stare with darkened eyes.
"Unless..." He leaned closer, lips brushing the air near mine. "Could it be that you are just hot and bothered?"
Heat shot through like lightning.
"I... what...I am not..."
But my whole body was screaming, ’Yes, I wanted him, even more than I thought.’
Before I could finish denying, rewriting, or confusing myself further, he took my lips with his.
"Yes, I wanted this," Athena murmured.
Fuck! Everything I was thinking, the anger, anxiety and confusion vanished.
His lips moulded to mine with a force that felt like being claid, wanted and consud. I lted into him instinctively, my hands reaching to grip the collar of his shirt, his shoulders or anything to anchor myself.
This was wrong, this was stupid, and unlike , not to second-guess actions before carrying them out. But, yes, this was precisely what I needed, without knowing it.
His tongue brushed my lower lip before sliding into my mouth, and I moaned into his mouth, my knees weakening.
I moved to unbutton his shirt with desperate, frantic fingers, but Sir Kaelric caught my hands with one of his, easily and firmly.
My breath hitched. "What are you trying..."
He didn’t answer ; he just smirked at .
With his free hand, he pulled at his tie, loosening it from his collar. My pulse thundered as he moved my hands to my back and wrapped the soft fabric around them, slow and deliberate, binding my hands together in a way I wouldn’t be able to move my hands freely.
There was sothing wicked in his eyes as he admired his handiwork.
"Have you ever thought," he murmured, voice dropping to a sinful whisper, "of making out without your hands?"
My stomach flipped so violently I nearly whimpered. He said the words against my ear, making sure his breath was fanning against my ear, and then bit it lightly.
He tugged the tie gently, guiding down until I landed on his lap, straddling him on the chair behind his desk.
My breath tangled in my throat.
He looked up at like I was sothing he planned to unravel slowly.
"This is..." My voice faltered. "This is wrong."
He brushed his fingers up my thighs to my waist, dangerously slow. "Is it?"
"Yes," I said quickly. "What if soone cos in? I can’t...it will be harder for to readjust..."
"No one is catching you," he said with absolute confidence. "Today isn’t a school day. I’m not expecting any school council mber. You don’t have anything to be scared of."
My heart hamred as he slid his hands up my back, fingertips tracing the line of my spine. He searched for the clasp of my bra, trying to unclasp it.
I shivered involuntarily, and he smirked against my lips.
"Good," he whispered. "Your body reacts exactly how I want it to. How can I get over you?"
I moaned softly as his fingers teased at the buckle, nearly undoing it, but then he kissed again, his tongue going in and out of my mouth aggressively.
My nipples were hardening the more he kissed, and my core was getting drenched under his touch.
And suddenly the door burst open. I was unable to move for a while, my body glued to Sir Kaelric’s lap.
Sir Kaelric looked unperturbed, keeping one hand firmly at my back and one locked around the tie, holding on his lap like I belonged there.
I tried to move, but he held steady there, and an embarrassed blush crawled to my face as the Alpha successors walked inside.
Their eyes burned with jealousy and anger. I couldn’t bring my eyes to look at any of them.
I jerked instinctively, trying to twist out of Kaelric’s hold, but he tugged closer, anchoring to him.
"Is this a trap?" I hissed at him.
Kaelric humd, unbothered and amused.
"Oh no," Aven said, stepping closer, eyes dark as night. "We felt it. You have forgotten that you are our mate."
My heart slamd against my ribs.
Tristan’s jaw clenched, his voice thick with anger and jealousy as he stepped a bit closer. "I couldn’t let this happen again."
Damon exhaled sharply, a wicked grin appearing on his face, "Well... since we are all here, we..."
"Except for one," Kaelric cut in smoothly.
Aven frowned. "What do you an?"
"Zade isn’t here," Kaelric replied.
Damon snorted. "The less the rrier."
My pulse skyrocketed.
I yanked harder at the tie, trying to get off Kaelric’s lap. He let , and I staggered backwards, straight into Tristan’s chest.
He chuckled, a low rumble emanating from his chest. At that mont, I should have been nervous and scared, but sowhere deep inside, I was excited. Athena wanted them all.
His hands hovered just above my hips, slightly touching them, and drawing closer to him, so that my back was against his front. I felt his length harden.
