Andria’s POV

I groaned dramatically, tossing my head back, and then smirking at her. "Fine. But if I collapse, it’s on you."

Suddenly, my phone beeped at the sa ti as Michaela, Aven, Tristan and Damon’s phones.

We both exchanged glances at the sa ti. "Could be a general ssage," she mouthed.

Did they want to announce the incident between Liara and Jackson? That would be an uproar if the students didn’t already know about it.

Michaela opened her phone hurriedly and excitedly, nosy for gossip. She started reading it out to .

"From our form teacher...Subject: Group Reformation urgently and on short notice, as two students were cancelled out of the sports activities this year, due to the bad behaviors they exhibited in the school and outside the school."

I turned around and noticed that all the students in the field had begun whispering and murmuring to one another.

She swallowed hard and continued, I could see from the expression on her face that she didn’t like what she was about to read next.

"Kindly check for your new group below."

She stopped reading and started scrolling instead.

I opened my phone and clicked on the ssage. I scrolled further down until I saw my na. I was put in group B with Damon, Tristan, Aven, Becca, Arlo, Allison, and Tricia. No wonder she wasn’t

"I can’t believe it, Ari, we aren’t group mbers any more. I’m going to miss having you in my team. I’m pissed,"

"I know, but it’s all for the better. anwhile, l is still in your group and..."

"Alexa and many other wolves I’m not good with," Michaela interrupted. "I an, she divided us into a group of eight this ti, it’s so frustrating."

"Yes, I know, but we still have to make the best out of the situation in our hands," I replied.

"You are lucky, Ari, the Alpha successors, Becca and Allison, all your friends are in your group, wolves you could actually talk with.

What am I going to do with an Alexa and the Titan wolves? How do I even relate to them?

The Titan wolves are very uncultured and rough wolves," she groaned, stamping her feet hard against the ground.

"I understand, but there’s nothing you can do now. This is the last practice. anwhile, don’t forget there’s still a Tricia in my group. I trust you, Michaela, you can survive this."

I waved at her and joined Becca and Allison at the other side of the field.

"Guess we are all one big happy family now," Allison shouted excitedly, as she hugged tightly.

She looked behind , which made turn, and it was, of course, her twin brother. She rushed to him and nudged him lightly with her arm.

"Awwn, Michaela now has to join l, what a weird incident. She must be so pissed off now, and l must be so happy to have one familiar face in her group."

Becca snorted. "Group C will be on fire before the gas even start. They aren’t typical friends, Alexa, l and Michaela with the Titan wolves all in the sa group."

Allison rolled her eyes, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Tell about it. Alexa’s probably already calculating how to ’accidentally’ trip soone on the field. But we all know that Khalil won’t let that happen; he is in their group too, don’t forget."

We shared a knowing look before Damon called out from a few feet away. "Group B! That’s us, right? Huddle up!"

Tricia rolled her eyes at us, her hands akimbo, obviously pissed off and out of tune with the group.

I sighed. Of course, today is the last practice, and we have to be ready, even if the regrouping was impromptu.

We all gathered near the bleachers, forming a rough circle on the grass.

"Alright, since we are now one big team," Damon began, tossing the baseball from one hand to another, "let’s not waste ti. We need to split roles, choose those that would be representing us in the field and court gas, male and female categories."

Tristan folded his arms, his voice calm and controlled. "We can divide according to strengths. It’s not that complicated."

"Of course, we know you have got the strength to carry on probably all the sports in your category, but so of us can’t. So let him finish," Becca muttered just loud enough for to hear. I tried not to laugh.

"Football," Aven said, stepping in smoothly, cutting through the early bickering. "We all know the Alpha successors, that’s and my buddies, have to represent there. It’s the last event, and it’s only featuring the male category."

He looked towards Arlo, his eyebrows raised questioningly.

"No, I’ll pass, I can only play the volleyball ball," Arlo voiced out from his corner.

Arlo was unusually quiet this ti, and I noticed so distance between him and Becca; they seem to be having so mate issues. I’ll find out later what’s wrong with both of them.

"Agreed," I snapped. "You three handle that, Damon, Aven, and Tristan. That should keep the crowd screaming, you know, their alpha successors.... Egotistical beings."

Damon grinned. "Can’t wait to give them a show."

"Is it only that feels like Ari and her friends are out for us this evening?" Tristan asked, looking at Aven and Damon.

"Well, who cares?" Damon replied, shrugging.

Then he smirked, turning his attention back to the team. "Now, volleyball? Arlo has already volunteered to represent in the male category. Who else is willing to represent?" Damon asked, turning his eyes towards Aven, who was on the phone.

Everywhere was silent for a while, causing Aven to look up. "What were you saying?" He asked.

"I was asking for representatives for the volleyball team for the male category."

Aven nodded in agreent. "That works, I can handle that with Arlo."

"Allison and I will play female volleyball," I added.

Allison gave a sharp nod. "We have got that covered."

Tricia, who had been quiet until now, finally spoke up, inspecting her nails as if the conversation was beneath her.

"Just so we are clear, I’m only participating in one thing except cheerleading. I don’t do sports that ruin manicures."

Becca scoffed. "How patriotic of you."

Tricia ignored her, a faint smirk curling her lip. "Soone has to make the field look good while you all sweat."

"Then that’s settled," Damon said before I could respond, clapping his hands together. "Next, baseball. Female category?"

"I’ll go," I said, raising a hand.

"I’ll too, I have been practicing, Allison can attest to that," Becca said, sharing a knowing look with Allison
