Andria’s POV

"Yes, I guess we should go back to our dorms before this place gets crowded," I said, pressing my hands against his hands on my waist for him to let go.

He hesitated a little before letting go. He didn’t want to go; he didn’t want this mont to end, neither did I. But I didn’t want to go over to his dorm either; I can’t be faced with the other two, too.

He, on the other hand, was fighting his ego; he didn’t want to co off pleading to his mate to spend the night at his place.

I turned to leave, but he held my right hand, and before I knew it, he had wrapped my lips in another kiss.

"I’ve had kisses before, and I can tell you this: you are the best kisser. I cannot get enough of it, Ari. Sadly, it has to end at least for tonight. Dream of ."

He released and left towards his dormitory. I watched his figure retreat and then disappear into the night.

Then I turned and walked towards my dorm. Once I got to the female dorm section, I noticed l walking towards . She was with Becca and Michaela.

Becca looked weak, but at least she was standing.

"We were looking for you all over the place. We thought sothing bad had happened to you again," l announced.

" I’m good, nothing happened to ."

"By the way, sothing strange happened today," Michaela began.

"What’s that?" I asked, feigning ignorance. " By the way, Becca, you look weak. Are you okay?"

"I’m good," she replied, "Just a little bit stressed from the events of today.

It was in that instance that I knew Becca didn’t want to bother . I knew she felt the sa. I felt the first ti I found out that I had lost Liara.

To , Liara was lost; she wasn’t acting right, she was under so manipulation, and she didn’t even realize it.

"Well, about that, Becca was beaten and chained in one of the classrooms by no other person but Liara," Michaela narrated.

"How did that happen?" I asked.

Becca left in the field shortly after you and l left for the stage. She said she wanted to go back to the dorm because she had forgotten to take her mobile phone with her.

After a while, she ca back panting. She refused to speak for a while, and when I persuaded her, she said she saw so masked individuals surrounding Allison. She said they beat Allison so severely that she had to return to the field instead of going back to the dorm to get her phone.

I felt she was hallucinating, so I managed to persuade her to get her phone, as it would be more useful to her in the field than in the dormitory.

She finally summoned up the courage and went to get her phone, but Becca didn’t return. I waited and waited, and yet there was still no sign of Becca, so I decided to head to her dorm. Probably, she got there and decided not to return, because she was exhausted.

Upon arriving at her dorm, I knocked repeatedly, yet no one opened. I dialed her number, thinking she was probably slumped on her bed and dozing off, but there was no reply.

At so point, I stopped knocking. I headed straight to Sir Kaelric’s office. I knew he had access to the surveillance room, and I needed to know where Becca was; surprisingly, he was there.

It was when I got to the surveillance that I found out that there were actually masked wolves, but I couldn’t tell if they were wolves or other creatures from the cara.

But then, Sir Kaelric zood in on the video, and it was as if recognition hit him. "Liara," he blurted,

And just like that, we rushed to the classroom where we watched Liara drag Becca to, and there was Becca chained to a table, she had marks on her hands and feet, showing that she had struggled a lot.

We tried unchaining her, but we couldn’t at first. Then Sir Kaelric went out and ca back minutes later with a potion, which he called an Elixir.

He spoke so words, sounding almost like a sorcerer, before pouring the potion on the chains. When we pulled the chain, it unlocked on its own.

Then we went to the laboratory where we had seen Allison being taken to, but the door was already broken and we couldn’t find Allison anywhere.

Sir Kaelric left in a hurry as if he rembered sothing, and I went back to the field with Becca in search of Allison.

We went backstage, and we couldn’t find Allison, and we couldn’t find you either. We started to panic because we felt you were the next victim, and we still don’t know where Allison is to this day.

We are glad to have found you, but we need to look for Allison," Michaela finished.

"There’s no need for that; she is in either her dorm or that of her mate," I replied to them.

"Wait, hold up a second, Allison has got a mate now?" Becca’s eyes lit up, her countenance changing at once.

"Yes, she got a mate now. They actually got to kiss on the kissing booth stage. You should see the look on Jackson’s face, it gave him out, I had to follow him."

"I thought as much. He isn’t over Allison yet, even though he pretends to be. He wouldn’t keep her still, he prefers pursuing power and every she-wolf, but Allison was just his convenient toy at the ti, I hate to admit that Liara is also in for the sa gas," Michaela stated.

"The thing is that I really don’t know who Liara is anymore; she could even turn out worse than you think. I thought Jackson was the orchestrator and Liara was just being manipulated, but I don’t believe that is the case anymore. Liara seems well aware of whatever she is doing.

Her revelations shocked tonight. I never expected much from her anyway. She is, after all, a princess who has been locked up in the palace all her life," I replied to them.

"Well, let’s throw the bad news out the window. I’m glad Allison is safe, and she now has a mate. I thought that even her actual mate would reject her now that her false mate has rejected her publicly. Turns out fate was smiling on her. Who is her mate, by the way?" Becca asked with so much enthusiasm.

"Khalil of Westbrook," I replied. They gasped in unison, as Khalil of Westbrook was a very notable Alpha after all.
