Baghi Tea continued.
"Tell , who gave you the contract? If you do, I'll lessen the pain I'll inflict upon you."
Shehneel Shodo shook his head.
"Sorry, that's impossible."
Baghi Tea shoved his spear forward but the leader of Death Gate dodged it, flying away and creating so distance. As he sensed his surroundings in mid-air, Shehneel's face showed signs of tension. Baghi Tea flew after him. As they were floating above the ground and looking at each other, Baghi spoke.
"Do you believe my words now? You can't sense five of your generals nor their minions, right? Only you and your weakest 7th general are still alive."
Shehneel furrowed his eyebrows before asking.
"How do you know which generals were killed?"
Shehneel was familiar with the cosmic aura of his generals, so he could differentiate them by sense. However, an outsider like Baghi knowing exactly who died and who survived was a troubling matter for Shehneel.
There could only be two reasons behind it. One was that Baghi was actually very familiar with them and had kept an eye on them this whole ti. That would explain having a similar level of familiarity with their aura. Yet this was very unlikely as Death Gate was the 2nd strongest assassination group in the whole district. They always kept themselves in darkness and attacked their target only when it was at its weakest. Just like they attacked Abran when everyone else was busy training. The 2nd reason could be that they had soone with the Psychic Law and they were using telepathy to communicate. In that case, the only question would be why would soone with the 2nd rarest mythical law be willing to serve this cursed city. While thinking through all this, he looked at Baghi and asked.
"How did you get soone with a Psychic Law? I am 100% certain the Tea Family doesn't have anyone like that!"
"I have no reason to share any information with you."
Baghi retorted.
"Haha, even though I am an assassin. I still care for young and talented prospects. Them being in this dead city will only stunt their growth and waste their potential."
Shehneel replied.
"This dead city was about to revive but you destroyed it again!"
Shehneel squinted his eyes in annoyance.
"Oye Baghi, since when did you start being such a sentintal fool? I'm a goddamn assassin, I kill for money. I even took contracts from you as well. Did I ask the reason why you wanted them to be killed?"
Baghi was silent. Shehneel sighed loudly and continued.
"How about you tell sothing and I'll expose the one who sent us here."
The 1st General of Death Gate was clearly very interested in this mysterious figure's background. If Baghi Tea had such talents under his wing, then Shehneel thought he could have them as well. Even though his generals were now dead, leaving him alone, the Vampire was still sure that he could escape. His Wind and Darkness Laws would be perfect for that and he'd likely only receive minor injuries. He only had one thing on his mind, to find out from where and how Baghi got a hold of such a prospect.
Baghi laughed after hearing the terms of this bargain.
"What about your code of honour?"
Shehneel Shodo smirked in response.
"Hehe, my interest is more important."
Baghi Tea's laughing ceased and his face revealed signs of hatred.
"I'm sorry, but you won't survive past today. You destroyed Abran's downtown and murdered many people. Your fate was sealed the mont you stepped foot in this alley."
"Alright then, kill . I won't fight back, but rember that I am the only one who knows about the contractor."
Shehneel reminded Baghi.
"We already captured your 5th General, so you are not needed."
The 1st general laughed.
"He knows nothing, they all just followed my orders. You know as well as I that I am the only one that t the contractor."
Shehneel's facial expressions grew graver as he spoke.
"You should thank your luck that you didn't kill that 7th General, she is the only one other than who knew about the contract."
Baghi asked the System and his eyes widened when he found out that the 7th general was facing King Akash Tagar.
"Who is she?"
Baghi asked.
"I'll tell you as a token of trust, she is the niece of the contractor. She ca here to witness the mission's accomplishnt with her own eyes. My original 7th General remained at the headquarters."
Shehneel was a famous assassin but he destroyed his morals and rules just for Baghi to spill the beans about that talent
*beep*
Then, a notification ca and Baghi Tea pald his face loudly.
*tsk, tsk, tsk*
Baghi tsked many tis and removed his palm from his face to look at Shehneel before speaking.
"Sorry."
Shehneel didn't know what just happened, he only saw Baghi mumbling to himself and tsking.
[7th general of Death Gate, Sasha Gandraf has been killed by King Akash Tagar.]
That was the notification Baghi received before telling Shehneel.
"She is dead."
"She who?"
Shehneel asked as his eyes widened.
"Your 7th general is dead, her na was..."
Baghi Tea opened the notification to confirm the na.
"Sasha Gandraf, she is dead..."
Baghi trembled as he looked at the screen once again and a cold chill ran down his spine.
"Sasha Gandraf..."
He murmured as he looked at Shehneel.
"Yes, you are correct. She was Sasha Gandraf, niece of Chand Gandraf. The mayor of Slave City."
The hands of Baghi trembled even more, his enemy was one of the biggest dragons of this planet. After this realization, he could only mutter 2 words.
"My Liege..."
