Days passed and Fu Xian stopped paying attention to these two boys. In his opinion, there would be no major change for the ti being.

Yiyuan was in a family, with resources and a good place of cultivation, the foundation for a steady cultivation. Ye Fan was in a bit of a precarious situation, but if he followed the plan he laid out, then this boy would most likely beco a spiritual planter.

Considering his influence over them, they would both seek stability and avoid danger, slowly growing their foundation.

Even though he had only gotten these two, Fu Xian was happy no origin was wasted.

He had planned to give every clone a base 10% extra origin investnt, further investnt required achieving sothing and paying back.

For example, if they learned a profession, got an inspiration, reached certain stages...

He wouldn’t invest blindly just because he thought it was interesting or because these were his first clones.

In fact, because these were his first clones, he was a bit reluctant to spend too much origin on them. Wouldn’t it be better to save his origin and create more clones?

Then again, if he went the route of mass production, then he would likely end up with many qi-refining cultivators.

He was, after all, an origin light senior, so these lower cultivators were of little use.

Rather than this, he would love to see one of his clones beco stronger than him, gain resources, arts and learn creation arts, which he could then extract.

Now that Fu Xian stopped paying attention, he could finally return to talisman drawing!

"It’s been over two years since I’ve last drawn... Heh, who cares! I won’t be rusty just because I didn’t do it for so ti!

What a joke, if I told others that I lost my skills after just two years, they’d probably laugh at for a whole century!

Alright, let’s see which talisman to draw.

I’ve always been proficient in two kinds of talisman branches and one talisman technique: Defensive and Supportive-type talismans and the Double Talismans Technique.

Among the defensive-type talisman, I’ve been deeply researching spells based on the first-grade spell lineage of Water Shield and the first-grade Bark Skin spell lineage.

At the second-stage, Water Shield becos Water Mirror, which I have also mastered to top-grade.

In my research, I have attempted to draw the third-grade Minor Lake Shield talisman, which hasn’t been successful.

Of the Bark Skin lineage, I have not only learned the second-grade Old Bark Skin spell, but even achieved a breakthrough in talismans and spell casting, fully casting and drawing the Minor Ancient Bark Skin minor magic power!

The support spells and talisman I drew in the past were mainly the wood-based vitality recovery and water-based spiritual power recovery spells.

They are the lineages of: Fast Recovery: Health, Fast Recovery: Spiritual Power, Spiritual Power Storage, Vitality Storage, Wood Spiritual Power Gathering and Water Spiritual Power Gathering, all reaching the peak of second-stage.

Because I put less focus on them, I haven’t attempted to draw their third-stage variants, but based on my experience, the ti put into these wouldn’t yield the sa benefit as much after I have already drawn a third-stage talisman.

The Double Talismans Technique is a widely known yet very effective technique that allows one to draw talismans on the front and back side of a talisman paper.

There are two ways to use this technique: drawing the sa talisman twice, which enhances the power, achieving the effect of "one plus one equals more than two". Another way is to draw two different talismans, upon which the effect of the talisman changes wholly.

So combinations are known while others are not, the end result is not static and difficult to guess. The result differs from the talisman having at least 1.5x the effect of a single talisman, and at most 3x.

Most of the ti, people draw the forr, while the latter either requires deep research, long experience, rich inheritance, or the spirit of a gambler!

In the past, I generally made the sa talisman twice and strengthened the talisman, which was popular in the general affairs hall, since my talisman only costs the price of two talismans but has the effect of two and a half or even three!

But maybe I should stop doing this and try experinting... now I don’t need to do any missions, so I have more room to try things out. Anyways, if the result is good, then the general affairs hall will issue a direct mission to !

After all, the effect of this special talisman might be unique and unfound in other talismans yet, or be a cheaper and more efficient way to gain the effect a more difficult and expensive talisman would achieve.

Well, first of all, let learn the Minor Lake Shield minor magic power, then draw the talisman corresponding to it!

I’ve been very close in the past, only failing at the last step, so it shouldn’t be too difficult now that I’ve beco an origin light cultivator!"

As he said so, he walked out.

For professional talisman cultivators, not those that just do it as a side job, the difficulty of a talisman is many levels lower, mostly because they do not need to learn the spell to draw the talisman.

Still, learning the spell will enhance your talisman’s power and the chances of successfully drawing it.

Compared to normal talisman makers, this was a huge advantage, a gap that symbolises the difference between casually drawing and earning so pennies, and earning tons with each minute.

Because of this, most professional talisman cultivators would still learn the spells even if they didn’t need to.

But, starting from the third stage, which is also the start of the second higher stage, there is a huge difference. While there were spells in the first higher stage, at the second higher stage, they were magic powers. First minor magic powers then true magic powers.

The gap between spells and magic powers is worlds apart. Maybe for higher stage cultivators, these magic powers of the lower ranks were rely a different version of spells, but for third-rank cultivators, the learning difficulty rose many levels all of a sudden!

At their core, magic powers used the spiritual inspiration of cultivators. Although you may awaken spiritual inspirations at lower levels, these inspirations are like trees without roots. They may aid you in your cultivation and even enhance your talent in different arts, but they can’t be used actively.

Once you arrive at the third stage, your Origin Light will be the root of these Spiritual Inspiration. From then on, you can combine your inspirations will the structure of magic powers to truly cast magic powers, or even use them when drawing talisman and pursuing other creation arts.

Fortunately, Fu Xian had gotten three inspirations: Talisman, Wood and Water. This allowed him to more easily learn magic powers of these three branches.

Because he had a slightly deeper comprehension of wood (since he not only learned talisman but also planting), it was easier for him to learn the wood minor magic power ’Ancient Bark Skin’.

Still, in the process of drawing the talisman, he expended quite a bit of his wood and talisman spiritual inspiration, which only recovered after he broke through to the Origin Light stage.
