Walking through the corridor to the familiar door at the end, Morriba felt nostalgic.

It felt like just days ago when she would run here to be with her mother, just being in her early years of discipleship.

Seed mories had minds of their own, showing up whenever they felt like.

She pulled the door open.

The feeling the room always gave was the sa, just that now, it was hers.

Just at the front of the entrance was a stunned Lunai. And from the look from Raphai she could tell, they’ve been at it again.

"How is Jezreel?"

Hearing the voice of her mother, the baby squird and shook with excitent despite being swaddled.

"She remains fine, High Priestess"

Raphai bowed her head slightly, keeping her back straight, as did Lunai as the High Priestess made her way to her baby, cradling her in her lovely embrace.

"Aren’t you my lovely big lady" she said affectionately as she swayed the child gently.

The little smile on the baby’s face kept glowing brightly in response to her mother’s gentle voice and sway.

"Prepare the Aclove" Morriba instructed. "include the cradle too"

as she made way to a corner of the room, with her child gently rested in her arms.

"Yes" Raphai received her instructions with an affirmative nod, as she signalled Lunai, who’s disposition had taken a turn into a more serious one.

Raphai couldn’t help but laugh inwardly, it seed the only ti that clown was ever serious was when getting instructions from the High Priestess.

Lunai on the other hand could not help but curse at her own bad luck, it would seem she wouldn’t be getting that al after all, at least not until after the et.

If the High Priestess asked for the preparing of the Aclove, then it would an she and the High Doyens would be eting.

The Aclove was specially built into the Chamber of the High Priestess, a secluded space specifically for the eting of the High Priestess and her High Doyens.

After what seed like an enternity to Lunai—only because her hunger had began to kick in—preparing the Aclove, it was ready for the et. And just in ti, every High Doyen was present.

They all adorned in their fashioned robes of differing colors, except for Rebi, who chose to go with all the colors—not that it was any of her fault, only the moons knew who’s fault it was, that she could not make up her mind.

The Aclove, its diminutive space was imbued with an aura of mystique, its walls adorned with intricate symbols that seed to whisper ancient secrets to whoever dared to listen. The freshly prepared incense waft through the air, adding to its mystical atmosphere, and the lit walls gave off entrancing lights.

At its center, in a circular arrangent, laid six cushions, with one slightly elevated with a new elent beside it, a craddle. It was visibly dragging attention.

Everyone took their seats, according to their sacred duties, with the High Priestess on the elevated cushion.

Having the little sacredness in her little craddle, Rebi couldn’t help but comnt.

"I had no idea our little sacredness would be joining us" the only thing that kept Rebi from leaping off her seat to play around and fondle the adorable child, was honestly the incense reminding her of where she was.

"Hmm... It took this turn today" Morriba said looking at the tiny figure inside her craddle, visibly calm, with bright eyes, eagerly waiting for the start of the et.

Her face then took on a more serious look as her gaze fell on everyone seated.

"The Mystic lines on Dorom are beginning to tin"

The drop of this news didn’t seem to shake any of them present.

Nicoah’s face remained calm and collected, Pemah remained serious as always, Adah had her sa aloft expression, Hana remained reserved, while Rebi was her usual self—being just...Rebi.

If they couldn’t feel this much, then they wouldn’t be worthy of having ’High’ attached to their titles.

"Also the Sacred Orb, was glowing last night"

Okay... now their expressions began taking slight changes.

Rebi jumped to the question;

"What glow was it ?"

Morriba’s tone firm and piercing "Crimson"

Their eyes widened in shock, even Adah, couldn’t remain aloft. Last ti the orb gave such glow, the result was devastating. None of them were even complete priestesses then, but it was no secret that after the glow, the temple lost two High Doyens and The Mad King.

"Everybody knows what it ans, but this ti, it ca with the tinning of Dorom’s Mystic lines, that in itself has never happened before. It would seem that soone is ssing with the Unseen Realms."

To ss with the Unseen Realm, would an that this ti around whatever calamity that stood near, ca with a Mystic force.

"So does that an, a different temple at work?" Pemah asked.

Morriba shook her head. "It might be more than that"

Hana’s face contorted "Mystic beings?"

Morriba nodded, she too was contemplating "Very likely"

Everyone’s brows furrowed. If it was a different temple, maybe the Sand Temple or Sun Temple far in the North, it would be a different matter. But Mystic beings? That was a little bit much. They were rare enough, but what had they to do with Dorom.

Raising her brows Adah asked "Does that an the Mystic beings are after Izz? What have we to do with them? Besides considering how rare they are, and being mostly considered as myths, they don’t pose much of a threat"

Pemah nodded "They also rarely work together"

"Yes. And what happens if all this limitations were broken?"

Pemah’s face tightened "But they would need to be suppressed first by soone or sothing that shares such interest and also with strength to do so"

Morriba nodded "And what if that sothing existed? What if soone found a way to even do it without having to forcefully suppress them. Or what if a new Line was made to do so?"

Despite the incense giving the atmosphere a soothing touch, the room was now intense.

"These are a lot of ’what ifs’, High Priestess" Nicoah said her voice laced with concern

The corners of Morriba’s mouth curled as her eyes gave a feight glow " Well... I Heard!"
