Arthur stood there silently watching them devour the at with urgency. Arthur was sure that from the mont that they ate the at their lives would have an incredible change.
Arthur was dealing with this world on the sa basis of his previous world, at least at the simple basics like sources of energy and the effect of eating these sources.
He knew if a normal person ate this at he wouldn't show any changes at all. These energy resources couldn't give what wasn't there to begin with.
Arthur trusted his judgent because he was confident that they had the ability to beco mages if trained.
All of them had innate talent, and he was feeling assured that so of them would turn out to have a unique impact on this world.
Arthur had to focus on nurturing them and training them more vigorously than any mage here becauset they had wasted seven to eight years already.
Arthur didn't stop eating his share of at as well, besides him there was Ouly's share on one side.
Ouly was still in the middle of his evolution. Each piece of at Arthur ate had made him feel stronger, and eventually he began to feel a remarkable change that was equivalent to climbing a small stage in the cultivation training.
That was a remarkable feat for him, though, he knew better than anyone that this world's energy asurents weren't the sa as his previous world.
Arthur needed to know what these asurents were, and if he couldn't find any data then he would have to improvise. He already had a general set of stratification to the energy in this world.
Just as he was eating halfway through his share, Madly was the first to finish as she turned to look at him with fiery eyes.
"Why are you looking at like this?" Arthur asked.
"What exactly was in this at?" she asked back.
"Nothing, just so tonics to help your bodies," Arthur simply replied with a faint smile.
"You are lying again, this at isn't anything ordinary like tonics," she aggressively said to him.
"Oh, when have I lied to you?" he innocently asked.
"When you tempted us to try the at, you knew what would happen to us. Don't deny it, as the answer is all over your face," she said as she moved slowly towards him.
"I won't deny it, but tell do you regret eating this at?" he said without moving or even stopping eating his at.
"Regret? Yes I regret not eating the whole at alone," she said with a chuckle.
"Oh, you are greedy then," Arthur said as if he wasn't interested in her words or even that she had her sword which she was pointing towards him.
"Yes I'm greedy, and I want to eat the rest of your share," she said.
"If you have the ability to take it from , then go ahead and claim it," Arthur said without even blinking. He was still sitting in his place motionless eating another piece of at.
Madly wasn't the only one eyeing his share, as sohow his share of at was bigger than the others right now. It looked like he wasn't interested in eating his share, when others were about to finish eating their amount.
In fact Arthur was delaying eating his share on purpose. He knew how it felt to gain your first amount of energy, it tasted incredible.
This unforgettable sensation was so addictive that everyone hoped it would never stop.
At this mont, with the presence of a whole share of at in the place then it was normal for everyone to set their eyes upon it, and even try to start a fight to reclaim it.
Arthur was hoping for them to start fighting, as he wanted to show them how big the gap was between him and them.
He also needed to assess everyone's potential, as this was one of the rarest monts when the true face of everyone's innate talent would appear.
And with the lack of asuring equipnt under his disposal, he had to improvise and try sothing as rude and risky as this.
He knew his innate talent was strong, but he also knew he wasn't the strongest in the world. His luck might run out as he faced up with soone here with so monstrous innate talent that could beat the hell out of him.
However he had no other choice, so he took out his bow and arrows. His adrenalin was pumping as nervously watched his friends stride towards him.
They were practically foad at the mouth as they stared longingly at the two piles of at.Arthur knew this was only a temporary effect as at produced their inner hunger and their body craved for more energy.
Surprisingly, the first attack didn't co from Madly but from Ron who hit his legs when he got distracted by Tarry aid a punch at his face.
The two moved in a simultaneous unison as they both were organizing their movent together.
'Oh, we have a ntal innate talent here, that's interestingly rare,' Arthur thought to himself as his surprise didn't last longer than a mont and in the next second he vanished from his place.
Appearing behind Ron,Arthur thrusted his leg out in front to hit Ron lightly behind his knee making him tumble to the ground.
Arthur felt a pain at his side as when he turned around he saw Madly glaring at him. She must be the one that kicked him.
He felt another pain that was located in his thigh as Terry punched him. Arthur decided that to win the fight he would have to neutralize the mber who had the ntal ability.
The longer that the fight had the person with that ability the less likely Arthur would win the fight.
Arthur decided that in the fight he would focus his efforts on Madly as she was the most likely candidate to have that power as well as her earth powers that haven't been harnessed.
Her mind ability would subtly tell her friends what she was planning and what they should do.From what he could tell she was probably unaware she was doing it.
An arrow, launched by Lilly, skimd his face, with him being able to feel a scorching heat on the arrow. The arrow was engulfed in dangerous orange flas.
Arthur was sure if he didn't side step the arrow then his face would have been burnt to a crisp.
Now he had two threats, but he was closer toMadly so he decided to test her first. Just as he started to move, Madly finally began to move as well, getting out her dazed state when she admired the flad arrow.
The montary delay created by Lily gave Arthur the chance to vanish behind Lily to body slam her on the ground.
As she winced on the floor out of breath Arthur faced his three attackers; Ron, Tarry and Lilly who readied her bow to take aim at Arthur.
'There is one missing,' Arthur muttered to himself as he realized that Madly stopped wincing on the floor.
His brain pictured the worst scenario as the mind control freaks started distance from each other and trapped Arthur in a circle.
He still couldn't see Mandly as he needed a wider view to see how they would attack him..So instead of being this passive, he leaped to the branches in the trees to bide himself so ti.
