Uchiha Shisui walked to the center of the arena. After exchanging greetings with Hanekawa, he activated his Sharingan without hesitation.
The scarlet glow of his eyes lit up, revealing two tomoe spinning within.
"Shisui has already reached the two-tomoe stage?"
Kakashi Hatake couldn't help but express his surprise.
"That's normal," Asuma Sarutobi said with a smile. "While there are many Uchiha prodigies, Shisui is undoubtedly the top talent of the younger generation."
Asuma, being Shisui's teammate, had already known this.
Uchiha Obito, however, looked visibly annoyed—not because of Shisui's two-tomoe Sharingan, but because Shisui had activated it before the match began.
Clearly, he had learned from Obito's earlier mistake. Obito, after all, had been trapped in a genjutsu right at the start of his match.
Starting with his Sharingan active was a smart way to guard against Hanekawa's illusions.
Obito never expected that one day, he would serve as a cautionary tale.
He suddenly thought of sothing worse:
Would all Uchiha shinobi who sparred with Hanekawa now follow this strategy?
In a twisted way, Obito had gained so fa—though not the kind he wanted.
From the audience, Uchiha Fugaku nodded in approval.
While he hadn't known that Shisui had achieved the two-tomoe stage, it felt both surprising and expected.

Fugaku's thoughts wandered briefly. He wondered if Shisui might soday reach the ultimate Sharingan—the Mangekyō.

Yamanaka Inoichi's voice bood across the arena after both combatants completed the sign of confrontation.

Shisui ford hand seals and unleashed a massive, blazing fireball from his mouth.
With a loud boom, the fireball struck Hanekawa, scattering flas and causing a small explosion.
Compared to Obito's earlier fireball, Shisui's mastery of the technique was clearly superior, leaving little ti to react.
But Shisui knew this wouldn't defeat Hanekawa.
A sharp sound of wind cutting through the air reached his ears.
Behind !
With lightning speed, Shisui grabbed his short sword and slashed backward, eting trendous force.
Rather than clash head-on, he used the montum to slide away.
At that mont, two more Hanekawas appeared on either side of him.
Crescent Moon Dance!
The Hanekawa he had just blocked also charged forward.
In the blink of an eye, Shisui found himself in a precarious position.
Body Flicker Technique!
Accelerating his movents, Shisui ford hand seals. His cheeks flushed red.
Fire Style: Dragon Fla Jutsu!
Leaning backward, Shisui unleashed a torrent of flas, which transford into three roaring fire dragons.
The intense heat made Hanekawa feel slightly uncomfortable.
He imdiately dispelled his two shadow clones and sheathed his Thunder Fire Sword to form hand seals.
Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!
A roaring water dragon surged forward.
As water t fire, steam billowed across the arena, shrouding both shinobi in mist and obscuring their movents.
"Hanekawa knows Water Style?"
Asuma Sarutobi's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Why is that surprising?" Kurenai Yuhi smirked proudly. "I taught him!"
"But his natural affinities are lightning and fire, right? How is his Water Style so powerful?"
"That ans he's mastered the chakra nature transformation for water," Kakashi said gravely.
In Konoha, mastering at least two chakra nature transformations was one of the requirents for becoming a jonin.
"Incredible!" Rin Nohara exclaid, filled with admiration.
Hanekawa's excellence naturally inspired awe in her.
Damn it!
Obito clenched his fists but said nothing. He knew there was no point in protesting now, so he swallowed his frustration.
From the stands, Hiruzen Sarutobi stroked his beard, clearly satisfied.
For soone of this age to master a third chakra nature transformation was a mark of a true genius.
If he were a decade or two younger, Hiruzen mused, it wouldn't have been Tsunade taking him as a student—it would've been him.

Back in the arena, the mist began to clear.
Shisui spotted a figure and instinctively ford hand seals, but a crackle of thunder caught his attention.
He turned to see dazzling lightning.
Lightning Style: Thunderbolt Arrow!
White lightning pierced through Shisui's body, but instead of blood, his figure vanished with a poof.
It was a shadow clone.
Uchiha Style: Gale Sword!
The real Shisui pinpointed Hanekawa's location and appeared behind him in a flash, wielding his sword in both hands.
The blade burned with intense flas, turning into a fiery weapon.
The last remnants of mist evaporated as Shisui struck down at Hanekawa. But his expression quickly changed when he realized sothing.
It was another clone—not a shadow clone, but one rigged with explosive tags.
The fiery sword triggered the tags, causing a chain explosion.
Hanekawa observed the blasts, gripping his Thunder Fire Sword tightly.
He doubted the explosions alone would defeat Shisui.
As the smoke cleared, gasps erupted from the audience.
Eight Shisuis surrounded Hanekawa.
"Is this the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu?" Namikaze Minato asked instinctively from the stands.
"No," Uzumaki Kushina shook her head and said, "It's a bit strange. It looks like a mirage, but it contains chakra."
Shadow clones, in essence, are indistinguishable from the original body. They have independent consciousness, physical form, and can perform jutsu.
However, in Kushina's perception, these versions of Uchiha Shisui seed to exist in a state between reality and illusion—they had chakra but no physical form.
"His true body is moving continuously among his clones," Tsunade raised an eyebrow and said.
"I see!" Minato Namikaze suddenly understood and said, "It's the Body Flicker Technique combined with Clone Jutsu and Shadow Clone Jutsu."
"To create such an advanced jutsu at his age...?" Kushina looked worried. "I wonder if Hanekawa can win."
"Let's keep watching," Tsunade said with a calm smile.
Not far away, Uchiha Fugaku stood up abruptly, his expression uncharacteristically excited.
"This is the true genius of the Uchiha Clan!"
Shisui's performance exceeded Fugaku's expectations. While he had his doubts before, Fugaku now believed Shisui might have the potential to unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan.
Perhaps the future of the Uchiha Clan rested on Shisui's shoulders.
"The Uchiha Clan has indeed produced an extraordinary young talent," Hiruzen Sarutobi remarked from the stands, his experienced eyes recognizing the brilliance of Shisui's technique.

"Be careful, Hanekawa-senpai," Shisui warned before charging toward Hanekawa.
Eight swords glead simultaneously with dazzling light.
Konoha Style: Willow Dance!
Hanekawa raised his Thunder Fire Sword, his movents becoming elusive. In an instant, countless sword shadows appeared.
But the sword shadows passed through Shisui without causing any harm.
Hanekawa glanced around, even with his C-grade trait "Manga Artist" enhancing his perception by 30%, he couldn't determine which was the real Shisui.
This version of Shisui's phantom-like Body Flicker Technique was seamless, far superior to his previous attempt.
Unable to differentiate, Hanekawa decided to attack all at once.
Chidori!
The mont the many Shisuis closed in, Hanekawa channeled all his chakra.
The piercing sound of chirping birds filled the air as lightning surged outward from Hanekawa, radiating in all directions.
The lightning moved too quickly for Shisui to react and engulfed him completely.
Got him!
Hanekawa felt his chakra connect with a physical body—unmistakably Shisui's real body.
Without hesitation, Hanekawa thrust his Thunder Fire Sword forward.
Shisui tried to dodge but found his body paralyzed. The relentless waves of lightning had numbed his body, and now, the Konoha Style: Willow Dance's genjutsu held him in place.
Trapped, Shisui felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness.
In the next mont, a cold blade, shimring with lightning, stopped re inches from his forehead.
A strong gust of wind blew past, pushing Shisui's hair and clothes back.
Looking at the sword before him, Shisui sighed, sheathed his blade, and said sincerely, "Hanekawa-senpai, I admit defeat."
Shisui had given everything he had in this fight. While he hadn't used his Sharingan's genjutsu, Hanekawa had similarly refrained from relying heavily on illusions.
"Your Phantom Body Flicker Technique has beco even more formidable. If I hadn't learned the Chidori from Kakashi, I wouldn't have known how to counter it," Hanekawa said with a smile.
Shisui, however, didn't entirely believe him.
Without Chidori, Hanekawa still had Water, Fire, and Lightning Release techniques—especially his large-scale Water Release jutsu.
At that mont, two lines of text appeared in Hanekawa's vision:
[D-rank talent "Fire Spitter" has been upgraded.]
[Fire Release talent boosted by 100%.]
Shisui had been a worthy opponent, finally triggering an upgrade to Hanekawa's Fire Release abilities.
Now, his elental talents had Water and Fire at 100% boosts. Only Earth, Lightning, and Wind remained to be improved.
"Perhaps Kakashi or Asuma will bring further surprises," Hanekawa thought. "That is, if I get the chance to face them."
"Let's go," Hanekawa said casually, retracting his Thunder Fire Sword with a smile.
Shisui nodded and followed him off the arena.

In the Stands
"He won!" Kushina exclaid with delight.
"Not bad," Tsunade nodded slightly, satisfied. Her long hours of training Hanekawa had clearly paid off.
Minato Namikaze, however, found himself smiling wryly.
He realized sothing amusing: Hanekawa had used the Rasengan to defeat Obito and the Chidori to defeat Shisui.
The Rasengan was Minato's creation.
The Chidori was Kakashi's creation.
Who was the real Uchiha here?
After all, Uchiha shinobi were known for copying techniques with their Sharingan and using them to defeat their opponents.
Minato glanced at Tsunade. Hanekawa had clearly learned her monstrous strength technique but had yet to use it.
It seed Hanekawa valued it even more than the Rasengan or Chidori.

"It's a sha," Fugaku said, shaking his head.
But only a slight sha.
In his eyes, the Sharingan remained the ultimate weapon of the Uchiha Clan. Once Shisui unlocked the three-tomoe Sharingan, Hanekawa would no longer be his match.
