"With the addition of a new Guest Alchemist, the sect doesn't have to worry about the supply of the pills."
Even though the cultivator said that he didn't really an it because, with the addition of a rank 2 Guest Alchemist like Leo, there won't be many chances for the sect.
The Sect is like a black hole that requires a lot of pills and even a rank 3 Guest Alchemist can't fill that black hole, not to ntion a rank 2 Guest Alchemist like Leo.

Leo replied with a slight smile as he asked for the price he would get for the pills he was going to sell.
"Since you refined these pills with your own rest of the ingredients, you will get 1 contribution point for every high-level Barrier Breaking Pill."
"As for the mid-level Barrier Breaking Pills, you can exchange 10 pills for one contribution point."
"In total, you will get 100 contribution points from mid-level Barrier Breaking Pills and another 100 contribution points from high-level Barrier Breaking Pills."
The cultivator was in charge of the Treasure Hall for a long ti and didn't think much ti before giving out a price for Leo.

So, the cultivator asked which particular thing that Leo wanted.

Like before, Leo didn't think much before answering the cultivator.
It was because only these pills were much easier to buy in bulk and rge them. As for the elixirs, there might not be 10 similar elixirs.
Moreover, even if there were 10 of them, Leo might not be able to buy them with his 300 contribution points.
He got 200 contribution points from selling the Barrier Breaking Pills whereas the other 100 contribution points, he got as his initial funding or salary for becoming a Guest Alchemist for the sect.
"There are only two types of pills in the low-level Rank 3 category. They are: 1) Golden Barrier Breaking Pills and 2) Core Nourishing Pills. Do you want to buy one pill each?"
Since Leo already has a Golden Core Pill, the cultivator believed that Leo was making preparations for his after breakthrough. Hence, he thought Leo would buy one pill each.
One pill could solidify and nourish the Golden Core in the cultivator's dantian and the other one could help the cultivator breakthrough to the next level.

Leo directly eliminated the costliest pills that were out of reach for him as he thought for a mont before concluding.
'Since Gallant also needs to use these pills to nourish his core and break through to another realm, I have to buy the pills in a way that both of us could get these two pills.'
With that thought in mind, Leo asked the cultivator, "I want to buy 20 low-level Golden Barrier Breaking Pills and 10 mid-level Core Nourishing Pills."
