'Huh? An item I am looking for?'
Leo was pleasantly surprised by Uncle Grey's sudden arrival with a jade box in his hands and at the sa ti, he was curious about what item Uncle Grey has brought now.
"What is it, Uncle?"
After finding two items from the masked assassin and one item from the treasure room of the family, Leo stopped looking for the required materials for the other evolutionary paths of the Dream Butterfly and solely focused on evolving the Dream Butterfly into the Nightmare Butterfly.
Other than the last required items for the Dream Butterfly's evolution, Leo had also asked Uncle Grey about the ingredients and the ingredients with similar properties that were required for the Strengthened Awakening Potion.
Hence, Leo was curious about the item brought by Uncle Grey and asked about it.
"It's a drop of Moonlight Dew."
Uncle Grey opened the Jade Box and in it, there was a single drop of Moonlight Dew that was brightly shining.
"Moonlight Dew?"
Leo beca excited as he thought, 'With this item, I can finish the evolution of the Dream Butterfly into the Nightmare Butterfly.'
Required Materials to evolve into a [Nightmare Butterfly]: Essence of Nightmares, Moonlit Dew, Nocturnal Blossoms, Shadow Silk and 100 units of God Energy.
Leo recalled the required material once again and clenched his fists in excitent.
"I have already deducted 1000 contribution points for this drop of Moonlight Dew."
Uncle Grey gave the jade box to Leo and inford him about the deduction of the contribution points before asking, "Now, can you tell why you are collecting such high-level items by spending all our contribution points?"
Until now, Leo didn't tell Uncle Grey that he was collecting the materials for the evolution of the Dream Butterfly because Leo knew no matter how close he was to his uncle, his uncle wouldn't believe him.
Hence, Leo said that he would tell the reason for collecting the materials only after he collected all the items.
Because of that reason, Uncle Grey was eager to collect the last item, the Moonlight Dew in a set of ingredients as he was curious about his nephew's actions.
"Uncle Grey, I won't say anything."
Leo shook his head and before Uncle Grey caught his ear, Leo continued, "I will show you."
After saying that, Leo took Uncle Grey into his room and with a thought, summoned all the required materials for the evolution of the Dream Butterfly.
"Huh? Shadow Lily and Shadow Silk. You must have got these two items from the assassin, right?"
Uncle Grey was surprised for a mont to see those two items; however, he knew where Leo had got them from.
"Yes."
Leo nodded his head and said, "Uncle, are you ready to witness the evolution of my Dream Butterfly?"
"You have collected these items for its evolution?"
Uncle Grey frowned as he continued, "Leo, they are obviously not enough to evolve your Dream Butterfly. I suggest you not waste these materials as they are quite rare and valuable."
"Also, it will kill your Dream Butterfly since evolving a beast is very risky unless you are a beast researcher."
A beast researcher is one of the professions in this world where they study a lot and conduct various experints to co up with an evolutionary procedure for a low-level beast into a specific higher-level beast.
Even though Uncle Grey knew that Leo had studied a lot of books during the past three years, it won't be enough to beco a Beast researcher.
What's more, even the top-level beast researcher won't be 100 percent confident in evolving a mid-level beast into a high-level beast.
"Why don't you study a few more books from Elder Obe's study room? It will increase your success rate for sure. What do you say?"
If it was any other normal kid, Uncle Grey would have already taken back all the items; however, it was Leo who won't give up no matter what others say.
Hence, Uncle Grey thought to stop Leo by saying that he would let him study so more books before conducting the evolution procedure.
"Uncle, why don't we have a bet?"
However, Leo was calm as he asked Uncle Grey with a slight smile on his face.
'T-this….brat….why does he look so confident? Did he get enlightened by the heavens?'
Since Uncle Grey believed that Leo was heaven's son, he silently muttered to himself, 'So, be it. He was using all his contribution points and failing the evolution procedure now would be a good lesson for him.'
After thinking for a mont, Uncle Grey nodded his head.
"Good. If I can successfully evolve the Dream Butterfly into a Nightmare Butterfly, I want 1000 Hatching Stones along with two eggs: One Storm Eagle's egg and One Red-tailed Hawk's egg."
Since Leo will be emptying his God Space for the evolution, he decided to recover them back from the bet with Uncle Grey along with getting two new pet eggs from the beast ranch.
"Sure."
Even if Leo asked for so high-level items, Uncle Grey would have agreed; however, he asked for so low-level items like Hatching Stones and two pet eggs.
Hence, Uncle Grey didn't even think much about it before nodding his head in agreent.
"Good."
With a mysterious smile on his face, Leo nodded his head as he called the Dream Butterfly.
"Dream, drink this drop of Moonlight Dew first."
Not only did Leo get the required materials for the evolutionary path but he also got the complete procedure and Leo started following them accordingly.
The Dream Butterfly had been staying with Leo for the last three years and by now, it could even understand the complex orders from Leo, not to ntion drinking was just a simple task.
"Next, absorb the essence of Nightmares until it disappears completely."
'Swiish'
Following his order, the Dream Butterfly landed on the Essence of the Nightmares and started absorbing the energy just like how it absorbed the energy from Beast Essence Orb.
Soon, the Dream Butterfly's white wings started turning black while it was absorbing the Essence of Nightmares.
