If it was before, Leo would have not worried much; however, without all his talents, it would be very difficult to protect himself from the sneak attacks of the Devil Serpent.
Therefore, Leo resud his punches without showing any intention of letting it go.
As for finding the Moonstone Roses, Leo had an entire day to search. Also, who knows what kinds of dangers are lurking on the third floor?
Hence, Leo didn't want to take any risks.

Previously, the Devil Serpent was having thoughts of launching a sneak attack on Leo if he spared his life; however, seeing how the human in front of him was not sparing its life, made it anxious.

Leo scoffed at the Devil Serpent.

The Devil Serpent hissed in frustration before saying sothing that made Leo stop his punches.

Leo knew about the contracts with the beasts and monsters; however, they are exclusive to those who have beast-taming talents.
Even though Leo has a super special talent like [Godly Beast Tar], he could not use it to ta the Devil Serpent properly.

Information: The life of a beast is connected to the life core. As long as the life core is intact, even if the beast's body got destroyed, it could slowly regenerate a new body from the life core.
Note: If soone drops their blood on the life core of a beast, its life will be connected to that soone. If he dies, the beast will die and at the sa ti, if the beast dies, the master will be seriously injured.
As soon as Leo touched the shining black bead, the system sent the information regarding it which made Leo's eyes lit up.

So, he was thinking of taking the Devil Serpent as his beast companion so that it could help him in clearing the floss in the God Tower.
However, he was not sure whether he could take it with him to the other floors or not.

"Human, shall we go and collect the Moonstone Roses now?"
After making sure that it has so guarantee of its life, the Devil Serpent urged Leo to collect the Moonstone Roses.
"Sure but can you move after taking nearly a hundred punches from ?"
Leo was surprised that the devil serpent was in a hurry to find the Moonstone Roses despite being heavily injured by him without asking for a break.

However, it was too late to stop Leo as the Devil Serpent's life core was completely covered in Leo's blood.

The Devil Serpent which was jumping at Leo was pushed away by so mysterious energy emitted by the life core, stopping it from attacking Leo.
"What am I doing? I am making you my Beast Companion."
Looking at the Devil Serpent in the distance, Leo replied with a scoff.
'Damn it…how did this human know about it? He didn't even know where to find the Moonstone Roses on this floor and the life core itself until I explained about it but how…just how…hiss?'
Never in its wildest dreams the Devil Serpent thought that it would beco a Beast Companion to soone from the human race.
"Now, shall we go and complete this floor's challenge?"
Leo asked the Devil Serpent with a slight smile on his face which was the devilish smile that the Devil Serpent had ever seen.
