Chapter 317: Chapter 312: Seeing a Ghost

“Where are you? I’ll co find you right now.”

Leon hadn’t expected that he would receive a ssage from Isily through the Communication Stone.

The Communication Stone wasn’t like a phone; it couldn’t handle casual conversations or endless chatter. Each use allowed only a single ssage, making it even less convenient than a telegram. Because of this limitation, Leon couldn’t ask Isily why she was looking for him. He had only two choices: refuse her outright or tell her his location—his reply had to be to the point.

Leon glanced left and right, checking his surroundings to figure out where exactly he was.

After leaving Bern, he had been flying northward, planning to visit the Crown Glacier. Along the way, however, he’d been drawn to a Frost Giant city deep within the Frozen Soil Wilderness. A Frost Giant city—it was nothing like the Lost Plateau, which only had so scattered Frost Giant villages.

That Frost Giant city had plenty of intriguing sights to see. Leon planned to stay there for so ti, so he decisively picked up the Communication Stone and replied to Isily, telling her his current location while adding that he wouldn’t stay there too long.

After sending the ssage, Leon imdiately stored the Communication Stone and transford back into a snow owl.

The Frost Giants weren’t his main interest; Leon was curious about the mounts and pets of the Frost Giants.

Back in the Lost Plateau, he’d seen Frost Giants ta Centipede Demons, but this was the first ti he saw them ta Tara Beasts. These creatures looked like horses the size of elephants, with six legs, snowy-white fur, and heads broader than those of horses. They were aggressive, wielding massive horns and razor-sharp tusks like blades.

A troop of Frost Giants riding Tara Beasts and ard with long spears looked incredibly formidable.

Besides the Tara Beasts, Leon also saw a White Dragon—a White Dragon tad by the Frost Giants.

As the saying goes, the White Dragon is the disgrace of True Dragons. Unlike other dragons, which would never willingly serve anyone, the White Dragons could be subdued by Frost Giants and turned into their servants.

Leon had quite a few dragons under his command, but even as he rose to beco a King, he ensured he treated them with basic respect. He never acted arbitrarily, even towards the weakest Brass Dragons. Their relationship was that of superior and subordinate, not master and slave.

Leon pondered briefly. Back when he had rampaged through the Lost Plateau, slaughtering Frost Giants and razing Frost Giant villages, could he have managed to take down an entire Frost Giant city like this one? Probably not—but now, it wouldn’t be an issue.

With his Vajra Body combined with his Three Heads and Six Arms, Leon was more than capable of wreaking havoc anywhere he pleased. It would take a descendant of the Frost Giant gods to stop him.

However, after much consideration, Leon decided against pillaging the Frost Giant city.

He was a King now, not a bandit; his identity carried a certain dignity.

Besides, he couldn’t just go around looting and raiding everywhere. Walking too long on the dark path would eventually lead to trouble. If he were to rob anyone, Bern, the capital of the Belen Kingdom, would be a better target—it undoubtedly housed many experts. If he wanted sothing simpler, Iron Port would pose no difficulty.

Snow owls were prone to attacks from the Frost Giants’ pets, making them unsuitable for exploration. Leon therefore transford into a Cloud Giant, an entity ranked higher than Frost Giants, and strutted into the Frost Giant city, radiating arrogance.

Leon, in his Cloud Giant form, strolled around the Frost Giant city repeatedly, eventually catching the attention of a pale-haired, gaunt Bheur Hag.

“What are you looking at?” Leon remarked bluntly. “Keep staring, and I’ll pluck out your eyes.”

“Do you think such a distinguished Cloud Giant lord is soone you can gawk at?” To Leon’s surprise, a Frost Giant chid in on his behalf.

Though the Bheur Hag could live in the Frost Giant city, her status was low, and she received little respect from the Frost Giants. She imdiately backed down.

After a few hours, Leon finally saw Isily arriving. He spotted the Silver Dragon from a distance, paying no heed to the Frost Giants’ possible reactions. With a wave, he transford from a Cloud Giant into a snow owl and flew into the sky, headed toward the Silver Dragon.

Leon guided the Silver Dragon to land on a mountaintop just outside the Frost Giant city and asked, “What’s the matter? Why are you looking for ?”

“Why did you run off so far?” Isily replied. “I thought you’d still be in Bern with your teacher.”

“I didn’t know you were so far away. At first, I didn’t plan to co, but after thinking about it, I decided I’d better. Otherwise, you’d keep waiting for ,” Isily explained. “It’s not a big deal… I just wanted to test the Communication Stone. Oh, and I visited my uncle—he heard about you and wanted to et you.”

Leon showed little concern and said, “What’s so special about eting ?”

“You’re the hero who killed the Storm Predecessor and drove off the Kraken,” Isily said matter-of-factly.

“You never believed ,” Leon remarked, “thinking I was just bragging.”

“Of course!” Isily replied. “You only seem a little older than .”

“You’re a teenage dragon; I’m a young dragon,” Leon said without hesitation.

“How could a young dragon possibly have the strength to kill the Storm Predecessor and drive away the Kraken?” Isily countered. “Even a Ti Dragon couldn’t pull that off… Have you heard of Ti Dragons? They’re legendary dragons said to wield the Power of Ti, controlling the past, present, and future.”

“That depends on which version of the Ti Dragon,” Leon said with amusent.

The strength of Ti Dragons varied between versions. The old version was terrifyingly powerful, while the newer version was greatly nerfed—though still slightly stronger than the Gold Dragon, Red Dragon, and Purple Crystal Dragon, the top three dragon species. Despite the reduced strength, the new version of the Ti Dragon boasted vastly improved looks, swapping power for charm, and becoming outrageously handso.

“What are you talking about—versions of Ti Dragons?” Isily asked, bewildered.

“Never mind,” Leon shrugged. “Have you figured it out yet?”

Isily blinked, pretending not to understand. “Figured out what?”

“You ca to because of that, didn’t you?” Leon said. “There’s sothing about those glasses, isn’t there?”

Leon’s current human form was created using the Transformation Skill rather than the 72 Transformations. The standard human disguise of the latter was too weak. The forr was rely an ordinary reward, whereas the latter was an advanced one. Leon rembered how Tassera had been able to discern his true form—it only took soone with True Vision to see through his disguise.

Isily adjusted the glasses on her nose and chuckled softly.

“Can I take a look?” Isily hadn’t yet used the glasses’ power.

As a tal Dragon, she prided herself on being proper and respectful.

“If I said no, would you lose your curiosity?” Leon asked. “Since you’re so eager, I’ll let you have your chance.”

Isily rarely looked so bashful.

“What do you think?” Leon asked. “Can you see my true form?”

“Almost,” Isily said, licking her lips. She stared carefully before faltering, “R-Red Dragon?”
