"One Qi Transforms Three Thousand."
Without a second thought, Jiang Li imdiately laid down layers of Qi walls, numbering as many as fifteen hundred, far surpassing his initial creation.
However, within the Thunder Hell constructed by the Thunder God and Lightning Mother, myriad thunderbolts burst forth and raced violently; "One Qi Transforms Three Thousand," which could defend against single powerful moves, was not very effective in restraining the countless thunderbolts.
In an instant, the abyss-like surge of thunder obliterated layer after layer of Qi walls. Fifteen hundred layers of defense dissipated into blue smoke, and the lightning obscured Jiang Li’s vision.
"Mountain Thunder."
Arranging the Eight Trigrams, the Array Plate took shape, with Gen above and Zhen below, thunder trembling in the mountains, a harbinger of spring, and the beginning of all things’ nourishnt.
A huge mountainous illusion enveloped Jiang Li, and as the lightning entered, its lethal force abruptly subsided, transforming into rejuvenating thunder that roared onto his body.
Thunder symbolizes life and death and has two facets. By using the Wind Queen’s Strange Gate to adjust the Gen Trigram to receive the thunder, Jiang Li converted it into Spring Thunder, embracing its life force and dissipating its deadly aspect. Thunder enveloped him, causing his robe sleeves to fly and his hair to dance wildly, yet he remained unhard.
For powerful moves relying on brute force, Jiang Li would defend with "One Qi Transforms Three Thousand." Fifteen hundred layers of Qi walls vanishing layer by layer, sufficient to block the vast majority of moves.
If it were a matter of quantity over quality, then the Wind Queen’s Strange Gate was the answer.
Scattered thunderbolts, though fierce, lacked the strength of a combined assault and could not achieve an overwhelming advantage. Thus, Jiang Li could employ the Wind Queen’s Strange Gate to neutralize them and even reverse their effects for his own use.
Erging unscathed from the storm of thunder, even within the clash of electricity, Jiang Li’s Qi chanism grew ever more potent.
Sensing this, the Thunder God and Lightning Mother decisively changed their moves. The Thunder God opened his hands; the Big Hamr and Iron Wedge scattered into Thunder Light, and with a swoop of his hands, he ford the thunderbolts into shape.
Both the Big Hamr and Iron Wedge were transformations of the thunderbolts.
Wild arcs of electricity squird in his palms like Flood Dragons. The Thunder God flapped his wings and soared, grasping the lightning and drawing in surging electric light.
"Boom!"
The thunder cracked loudly, shaking one’s spirit as the Thunder God swooped down, and a thunderbolt thick as a dragon and snake struck directly at Jiang Li’s head.
At the sa ti, the silhouette of the Lightning Mother flashed, the Light Mirror split into ten, and simultaneously shot out beams of lightning, aiming directly at Jiang Li.
Again, an attack from the front and back, but this ti, one was forceful, the other abundant; one fierce, the other swift.
The Thunder God’s Dao Fruit was the Yang of Thunder, the Lightning Mother’s Dao Fruit the Yin of lightning; naturally complentary, forming a union. The two had cultivated together for years, and their combined efforts were far from a simple sum of one plus one.
With years of experience, they decisively shifted their strategy; they were in perfect sync, combining both quantity and quality, while Jiang Li clearly could not employ the Wind Queen’s Strange Gate while executing "One Qi to Three Pure Ones."
To use both at the sa ti, not to ntion the excessive consumption, these two thods could hardly coexist; One must be external, another internal. The Thunder God and Lightning Mother were evidently able to control the thunder at will, deciding who would strike first.
Together, they indeed broke through Jiang Li’s defenses, but then—
"Bang!"
The Ochre Whip suddenly struck at the thunder, with Thunder Light fiercely colliding with the Red Whip, and thunderbolts exploded, scattering beams of Thunder Light.
anwhile, behind Jiang Li another figure appeared, and another set of arms, wielding the Great Circle Sword with Sword Light crisscrossing sharply, severing ten beams of electric light.
It appeared as if Jiang Li had suddenly turned into a being with two faces and four arms, simultaneously tackling the assault from all sides with different thods.
"Crack!"
The exploding Thunder Light and scattered electric light collided around Jiang Li, creating the sound of thunder, rging into a wave, and sending out thunderous electrical ripples, which both deities felt.
"He does not really have two faces and four arms," the Thunder God shouted.
"The Sword Control Form is just an Illusion," the Lightning Mother exclaid.
It seed as if he had sprouted two faces and four arms, but in fact, one was an Outer Object Transformation, creating the Illusion into reality. Though indistinguishable from the physical body, it could not compare to the actual, flesh-and-blood entity; there was a clear hierarchy.
The face that confronted the Thunder God was real, strength against strength, while the figure behind used the sharpness of the sword’s montum to break through the less violent electric light.
As the deities’ Qi chanisms rged, sensing each other through thunder and lightning, they imdiately made their judgnt. At that mont, the Thunder God’s montum was unabated, his hands wielding the thunder like a whip, flashing with Thunder Light, slicing through the air with five strikes, and five more massive Thunder Balls crisscrossing their way over.
The overwhelming force sowhat diminished, yet their readiness to change increased. The Thunder God might seem brutish and stout, but when it ca to cunning changes, he also had considerable expertise.
On the other side, the Lightning Mother brought her palms together, the divided Light Mirrors rging into one entity, and a column of electricity exterminated plus of blue smoke, streaking straight toward Jiang Li.
The ten beams of electric light rged into one, layer upon layer, with the intensity of the glow no less than the Thunder God’s direct lightning strike, turning cleverness into force.
As both sides launched another pincer attack, once again thundering toward Jiang Li, the Form with two faces and four arms seed unable to cope with the changing offensive, the figure at the rear showing signs of transparency, lding into Jiang Li’s body, and then—
The Lightning Mother’s gaze abruptly sharpened, noticing that Jiang Li had sohow turned to face her squarely, the Great Circle Sword in his hand glowing with a halo, like a sword of light. Suddenly, it cleaved through the air, the sword tip striking across the electric pillar, with the Qi inside the sword flowing like water, swirling swiftly and tearing apart the electric light.
At the sa ti, the Jiang Li in the Thunder God’s eyes did not turn around; the Ochre Whip extended in front, the Innate Eight Qi erging like a ferocious dragon devouring the sun, completely swallowing the Thunder Balls, severing the Thunder Light.
Frontal!
All frontal!
The Thunder God grit his teeth, his wings trembled, and thunder in hand, he launched a wild Thunder Strike against the Innate Eight Qi, but the eight qi rged into one, welcoming the attack with the overwhelming force of an ocean tide.
"Boom!"
Thunder Light shot out, but the surroundings were dim and murky, as if in a black hole, air and light seed to be devoured and refined by the Innate Eight Qi. The unmatched force shook the thunder, repelling and intensifying it, blasting it apart, causing the ground to ripple and even the separated space around to tremble.
On the other side, Jiang Li controlled the Great Circle Sword to break through the sky. Sword Light, like lightning, shattered the barrage of light from the Mother of Lightning.
"It doesn’t seem illusory." Thunder God said, his face as still as water.
And the Mother of Lightning nodded gravely.
Neither the past nor the present seed false. The problem was the four-ard figure had already disappeared, and yet Jiang Li was simultaneously responding to both sides, and all were frontal attacks.
This led the two to the sa terrifying speculation—Form Tomb complete mastery.
Though the Taiping Sect, which worships the Yellow Emperor as heaven, doesn’t have the inheritance of Form Tomb, the upper echelons of the sect still have a considerable understanding of Form Tomb and the Yellow Emperor. They’re also well aware of the origin of the Yellow Emperor’s four forms.
After mastering the Form Tomb, regardless of the direction faced, one would always confront with a frontal aspect, and at any ti, with the strongest form to et the enemy, hence the saying of the Yellow Emperor’s four forms.
But in Jiang Li’s current Realm, it’s impossible for him to have mastered the Form Tomb. If he had, the Thunder God and the Mother of Lightning would have already been defeated on the spot.
But if it’s not the mastered Form Tomb, how then is this transformation explained?
The Thunder God and the Mother of Lightning were flooded with thoughts, uncertain for a mont, but in the end, both resolved to attack with all their might.
Given the circumstances, worrying was pointless. They couldn’t just stop, they had to act with all their strength. Only, the thought of killing Jiang Li had, without them noticing, faded and now took a backseat to stalling.
Once their intent was set, there arose a powerful Divine Power, as both divinities drew Incense Fire Thought Power from afar, bolstering their own strength.
Thunder and Lightning stood apart as Yin Yang. They rged and missed, their Qi chanisms blending. The Thunder God grasped lightning cautiously, fighting fiercely. The thunder was domineering and swift, paired with the Thunder God’s half-human, half-monster Divine Body, he was nearly all attack and no defense, wholly set on killing.
The Mother of Lightning, on the other hand, flitted unpredictably, manipulating the Light Mirror. Lightning strikes varied in speed and strength, showing undefeatable power and potentially turning flesh into pus and blood upon contact.
The Mother of Lighting’s Thunder Technique employed the way of Yin Thunder, which essentially counters vitality, and in terms of weakening, far exceeded the Thunder God’s Yang Thunder.
But no matter how fierce the two’s offensive was, Jiang Li never showed signs of defeat. Whatever their changes or shifts, they were always facing Jiang Li head-on. The Great Circle Sword and the Ochre Whip intercepted the Thunder Strikes and electric attacks like a heavenly ditch, blocking the onslaught.
Thunder Sound roared and trembled in all directions, lightning dazzled and flashed, illuminating the space like light itself. The three of them fought fiercely for a long ti without a clear victor, turning the area into a dim yet brilliant world of thunder, with the aftermath of the battle spilling into every corner of the space.
’Strange, it’s been so long, why is there no move yet...?’
In the midst of the fierce battle, Jiang Li suddenly flashed with suspicion.
It was too slow.
Feng Manlou’s actions were too slow.
The Thunder God and the Mother of Lightning should not be affected by the Jiuli Vast Sky Realm Law, or at least they should have maintained a connection with the Marquis of Wind and Master of Rain who laid down the Realm Law, so as not to be bewildered by the Realm Law and Divine Skills. If Feng Manlou started to act and cause an impact, those two would definitely notify the Thunder God and the Mother of Lightning.
And once the divine pair received the notice, there would have been a fluctuation in their ntal State, and Jiang Li would have noticed it imdiately.
No fluctuation ant no notice received, which also ant that Feng Manlou might not have taken action yet.
’Could he be playing ?’
Was Feng Manlou slacking off sowhere else while he was here holding back the dual divinities of thunder and lightning?
Thinking of this possibility, Jiang Li’s ntality fluctuated ahead of the divine pair.
Because the more he thought about it, the more it seed likely.
Feng Manlou certainly had his own sches. Although he had entered here, he might not solve the Jiuli Vast Sky Realm Law right away but would wait for a mont, the mont he deed proper...
With this thought, Jiang Li suddenly relaxed his sword montum. The Great Circle Sword slowed for an instant, and a streak of lightning took the opportunity to strike against Jiang Li’s left arm, instantly disintegrating the Cloud Clothes into tatters, with the lightning invading his flesh, making Jiang Li’s arm feel like water flowing off it.
In a mont, Jiang Li’s arm was covered with pus and blood, barely exposing bone.
This Yin Thunder was indeed devious enough!
"Boom!"
Heavenly Thunder fell with a roar, but it was not issued by the Thunder God. Instead, it cut through the Jiuli Vast Sky Realm Law and entered another area.
The might of that thunder surpassed the Thunder God’s technique, and even the dense mists could not mask its sound.
