Alayna wasn’t planning on staying for a long ti as she still needed to appear back in Belshoy. So, without waiting for Elena to return, she left a note for her before appeasing her two babies and returned after promising to return as soon as everything was solved.
Alayna was back again the sa day and the day has ended. Olinda was busy preparing food and Nancy was gone already.
Alayna wanted so badly to go back ho so the sooner she finds the people she wanted the better.
She didn’t dare delay and quickly started her recruiting. As many people had already heard about this, Alayna was sward with a lot of people but she didn’t want a lot of them.
She just wanted at least four at the mont and so security n to maintain order outside as there was usually chaos when custors were waiting.
The security team was the easiest to recruit as Selena knew so reputable people for the job. She hired four n with high cultivation base although they weren’t there to bash people up.
Her system will take care of all troublemakers so she didn’t need to worry about anything.
As for the girls for the tills, she hired four after several rounds of tests. In just one week, Alayna finally had her eight new employees excluding Nancy who had sohow beco a professional as she was a hard worker.
Seeing how hard-working Nancy was, Alayna decided not to bring anyone from the first shop and just promote Nancy who was dedicated.
Everyone signed their contracts and the salaries were also fair and everyone didn’t complain. Alayna didn’t have an employee dormitory like she does back ho but she was confident that one day in the future the problem will be solved.
So, in the anti, all the employees will be living where they used to after all they didn’t erge from nowhere before coming to her shop.
Alayna didn’t take a day off but used that free day to fully teach the girls about the job that they were supposed to do which wasn’t hard at all. As the till was spiritual, it does the job on its own.
Take the required money and cough out the required change. What they needed to do is scan the barcodes and accept the money and acquire knowledge on every item in the shop.
So, Alayna didn’t spend a lot of ti before everyone had an idea of where they were going.
The four girls will be doing shifts and the opening ti will also increase to eight in the evening. As for Nancy she will be the second Elena who will be knocking off a bit late than others.
This is also the reason why Alayna was planning on letting Nancy occupy one of the rooms upstairs but certain rules will be put in place as she didn’t want her other ho to be treated casually.
The recruitnt wasn’t the only thing that was doing pretty okay in the alley. rita’s book was going viral and people were buying it which made everyone very happy.
Susan’s sales were also doing pretty okay and she was urging Alayna to make more copies. This was very possible but she didn’t want to make more copies at the mont.
Having the second batch ready already, she was just waiting for the right ti before distributing them once more.
Claire’s restaurant renovations were almost done and Alayna had given the lady a few recipes to research and if she likes them, she can also add them to her nu.
She didn’t have the authority to force anyone to do her biding but since she has the resources to help others, she didn’t mind helping at the sa ti too.
Another week approached and at this stage, rita’s first book was done. She was done writing it but it was still being published. The little girl had told her that she has started on a new one and she was looking forward to it.
Although she was rita’s mother, she still hasn’t finished reading the full story as she read a chapter daily just like the rest of the readers.
On the other hand, the publishing company Alayna signed a contract with were very fast that they managed to send the first batch of 1,000 books to her.
The books looked very lovely and not too big. The quality was just good and it looked very attractive to the eye. With rita’s face at the back of the book in the far-right upper corner, Alayna was well pleased.
A summary of the book, well written by one of the editors from the publishing company was enticing that one would want to read imdiately after reading it.
The book cover looked very lively and as a children’s book, it looked the part perfectly.
Alita still didn’t get it, just where did all the content co from? After all, writing such a big novel was not a joke.
As Alayna was planning on letting Nancy take over, she was also planning on introducing so few programs of hers and she wanted Nancy to take part in it.
So, one day when the new employees were manning the tills, Alayna brought Nancy upstairs to her study for so talk.
This was the first ti Nancy was seeing the house and to be honest, she was in love. In her head she was like, ’one day, I will build a beautiful house like this.’
Alayna offered the younger lady a seat and so juice to quench so thirst and soften the throat.
Nancy didn’t know the real reason why she had been called here, so she was very nervous.
"Do you like working here?" Alayna softly asked with a smile on her face.
Nancy blushed and replied joyfully, "yes, I really love working here."
"That’s good then. I will be leaving any day from now on but it doesn’t an that I will not co back. So, I am planning on promoting you to a manager, are you up for it?"
Sotis in life, blessings cos when one least expects it. Nancy had been working roughly for two weeks for Alayna and she was still in her probation period.
How co without her completing her probation she was about to get promoted?
"This… umm, are you sure about this? I an I haven’t been working here for long and I _"
"I trust your character at the mont which is why I am asking you this. I know that it is a bit sudden but I want to hire soone whom I know best and I know you. Of course, you will still be in your probation period and if you ss up, you now the consequences."
Nancy was definitely touched and scared at the sa ti. She knows how heavy the words she had just heard were and to be honest, she would do anything to get such a promotion like that.
She used to lack confidence and still was but after she started working at this shop, she started building her confidence up. After all she found out that there were so many capable people out there who would do anything to be in her shoes and yet they failed to make the cut.
This gave her confidence and she wasn’t going to falter because of the sudden shock she received.
Bowing her head slightly, she said, "I want the job and I swear to you that I will not let you down."
Sotis too many words were completely useless so Nancy didn’t bother with many and it made Alayna smile brightly at the other, "that’s the spirit. I will increase your salary by four more coins and your working hours will increase to eight in the evening. The four girls will continue to do shifts and you will be in charge of making a rooster for them and see which thod works.
As it will be late when you guys knock off, you will temporary live in one of the rooms in the house. So, there will be no rent but you need to buy your own food and any other things that you need.

Nancy sat there listening but her soul was already floating, she felt as if she was in so dream as the benefits were simply too heavenly and too good. Rent took most of her money and having to cut down from paying it, how can she not be excited?
"At the sa ti before I leave, I am going to be introducing the stokvel program and you will be in charge of recording and maintain the books. I will give you so books that you need to read and ...…"
Nancy received another blow again and she was very happy. Working for Alayna was truly the greatest decision she made in her life.
The more she listened about this stokvel program, the more excited she was. If she knew that there was sothing this good, wont her life be good by now?
"Thank you for this opportunity, I will not let you down."
"You better not."
After a talk with Nancy, she escorted the young girl back to her neighborhood before returning to her own.
