"Of course, this is sothing that you can do by yourselves and find soone that you trust to be your banker, it doesn’t have to be," Alayna wanted to make that clear, she didn’t want to be labeled as money or power-hungry.
The ladies began to ask her questions and she answered them fully.
"We want to join it and you can be our banker, we trust that you will not run away with our money," the manager spoke on their behalf as the ladies had already made their choice a very long ti ago.
"That’s okay with . So, which one do you want?" she asked as she looked at the six ladies in the room.
"We want the monthly one for one and after we see how this one go, we may try the yearly one," the manager answered again.
"Sure, I am also cool with that. What is left is for you to choose which fixed amount you will be paying monthly. By five of every month, everyone should have contributed their share and on the sixth, the money will be given to one person.
I will randomly pick a number for you and you all need to keep that number in mind, of course, I will rember it for you. We will do so books and all of that and as your banker, you will be required to pay a small amount of money for my services," she didn’t want to do this but these people were loaded and there was no way she was going to do this for free.
It would be better if they don’t make her their banker as in the beginning her target was the poor even though she didn’t mind the rich also.
The ladies didn’t lack money so they discussed among themselves and agreed to pay. In the end, the amounts were fixed as well as the month. There was just one week left till month-end and the ladies wanted to start as soon as possible.
"You must send soone to the shop tomorrow and I will give you your numbers. If soone wants to quit halfway, you need to repay all the money given to you and receive the one that you give away too."
"We understood and I doubt that we will be dropping out any ti soon."
Alayna and the ladies talked for a while before she left with Elena in tow. They found a carriage and it took them straight to the forest, since the forest was no longer scary, it was very easy to get a ride there.
When they returned, it was already late so the two began to prepare for so early supper. Looking at the vegetables in her storage ring, her head began to ache, she needed to find so people to give these vegetables to. There was no way that she was going to finish these by herself.
On this sa day, the village ladies returned back to their villages with smiles on their faces and they couldn’t stop talking about the stokvel program that they heard about.
Although it was good to make money by themselves, they didn’t mind letting everyone make so money too. After all, everyone was just getting their own money back and not taking soone else’s.
Among the ladies that have been won over by Alayna in the morning was a young girl around eighteen years.
She was married for two years now and has a baby girl. Her husband is a loving man and he treats her well. He is a builder assistant and working his way to becoming a builder one day.
The money that he earns is not enough for their small family so she planted a garden and she sells the vegetables to add more money to the coffers. Her baby will be with her mother-in-law who is a very loving woman and doesn’t make her life difficult like the mother in laws she heard about.
She had been thinking of having a bigger house and providing a better life for her daughter and future children, but the money was always not enough. And to borrow from loan sharks is just a disaster waiting to happen and this is sothing that she loathes the most.
When she arrived ho early in the morning, her mother-in-law was very shocked to see her back so soon but when she saw the empty basket, she was also happy.
She only has one son and had been a widow, for half of her life. It had not been easy to raise her son and getting a sensible daughter-in-law and a chubby granddaughter she was very happy.
"Why are you back so early?" she asked worriedly.
"I sold everything early in the morning. Mother, I have sothing I need to talk to you about, are you free?"
Seeing that her daughter-in-law was so excited and hearing the good news of selling everything, she quickly pushed her chores aside, "I can do it later. What is it?"
The mother and daughter pair sat on the straw mat and the young girl began to explain in detail about the stokvel issue. The mother-in-law was very shocked and stunned about this program, to think that they could also earn money this way, have they been sitting on their brains all this ti?
"What do you think, mother? Should we also join in?" the young girl asked nervously.
"I think that we should. If it really works in the way that you told , I guess we will be able to build that house that we have been wanting to build for a while now," the mother-in-law agreed as she thought of how pathetic their family is.

The daughter-in-law wiped away the tears on the corner of her ears and began to chat deeply with her mother-in-law.
